As a degree semester 3 architecture student in UCSI University, I aspire to be able to design building in my own unique way. Designing a building is fun and I feel as well as believe that, architecture is not a job or career but a lifestyle of my own. Besides, I looking forward to be able to think architecturally not only in my design but also in my daily perspective. Although, there is no right or wrong in design, however design still require a wide range of technical, inventive and creative as well as strategic thinking. Furthermore, throughout the entire course, I wish that I am able to identify problems of my design and are able to reconceptualize the problems into an opportunities. Notwithstanding when looking at an exceptionally troublesome problem, I wish that I could get amped up or even get excited about the conceivable outcomes of what it could make happen.

What are the ingredients in you that you think will contribute to d:CON 4 |
In addition, based on my previous experience and what I had accomplished in the past, I believe that I am able to contribute as well as add some value to the group. During my diploma course, I was given an opportunity to be a part of the Cardboard City 2017. It was an international go green competition which groups of participant build out their own utopia city using cardboard and some raw material. Throughout the event, I obtained varies experience, skill as well as technique in space planning, model making and designing sculpture as well as building large scale sculpture. I trust that I could contribute parts of my experience and idea for my group not only for individual but group project as well. In consequence, I am capable to work as a team in sync with my group mate and discuss our ideas in a group in order to produce the best along with unique final outcome.

Other than that, in term of educational background, before I enroll into UCSI University, I study and graduate my diploma in architecture from Limkokwing Institute of Creative and Technology. Besides, I graduated my primary and secondary school as well as my diploma at my hometown which is Kuching, Sarawak. Moreover, I am generally a quiet and timid person but I am a very friendly person once you get to know me. On the other hand, I am not a very hardworking but I will still take the responsibility as a student to complete my assignments in time. To be honest, I once regret of taking architecture due to massive stress and pressure. Nevertheless, I manage to overcome these obstacles because of the support and strength that are give by my friends and family. With the helps of my lecturers and friends, I believe that I can achieve my goal which is getting the title of AR.

How would you construe the current assignment in d:CON 4 |
Furthermore, architecture course have a massive amount of assignment and although it is stressful, I discern that it is for my own benefit not only in designing but also for my future practical. Despite the amount of assignments are massive, it is still manageable whenever I manage my schedule well. Actually, doing my assignment had became my daily routine and I am assuming it as my so called lifestyle. Consequently, base on the novel "Faces of Courage", I figured out that the Sybil undergo a tough life journey during the world war two and despite being threaten and torture, she never lost her loyalty toward her country. However, she went through all these hardships and finally reunion with her family and living peacefully after the end of world war. Thus, I plan to design with the elements of fear and determine to represent the life journey of Sybil.
