- The Person who ASK (Asker) is the Day Stem. The Subject Matter is the Hour Stem. Identify which palace in the QMDJ represents the ASker, and which palace represents the subject matter. If clashes foretell obstacles. Grow in or out foretell possible solution.
- Identify the Useful God base on the Subject matter you ask... For example, Business look for Growth Door, Career - Open Door, Mentor - Chief, Sickness - Grain Star and so forth... The ingredients within it, tells a story ... the 5 elemental interplay of these palaces tells the possibility of achieving a solution ... as in growing in - out, clashing indicates obstacles.
