臥虎藏龍風水大師 - THE HIDDEN MASTERS OF TYCOON GOU

3/21/2017

Picture
Terry Gou 郭台銘 born October 8, 1950 is a Taiwanese tycoon who is the founder and chairman of Foxconn, a company that does contract manufacturing of electronics for other companies such as Apple Inc. It is the largest electronics manufacturing Services Company in the world, with factories in several countries, mostly in mainland China, where it employs 1.2 million people and is its largest exporter. Source - Wikipedia

Gou was born to a poor family where his father was just a career police officer. At one time, they were so poor that the entire family live in a temple 慈惠宮 nearby. Occupying a sanctum now known as the God of Wealth altar 五路財神殿, it was said that exactly that spot called the Toad Meridian 蟾蜍穴 is the FengShui meridian originated from the vein of BanJio Ling’s Family 板橋林家的龍脈 that has the capacity to produce tycoon. Terry Gou was lucky to have live there for almost a decade that the luck of his family begin to change for the better, therefore they move.

Gou’s father passed away at the ripe age of 80 and was buried in North Taiwan, village of SanXia, White Rooster Mount 台北縣三峽鎮白雞山區. White Rooster Mount 白雞山 comprises of 3 peaks – Deer Cave Peak 鹿窟尖, Rooster Shape Mount 雞罩山 and White Rooster Mount 白雞山. It was believed that this spot FengShui also benefited Gou.

Then the question come… who is the FengShui master behind the success of Gou?

THE ILLUSIVE FATHER AND SON FENGSHUI MASTERS - 福惠堂林金寶父子

This team of FengShui family shun publicity, the perfect candidate for most of the tycoon in Taiwan alike. Unlike their contemporary that pay heavily for advertisement and buy their ways to be media darling, this father and son team is so low profile that you don’t even notice that they actually existed. Their FengShui establishment is hidden within the alley that you need to observe closely to see their hall mark marked FuHui Tang 福惠堂. This FengShui outlet is formerly helmed by Master Lin ChunXiong 林春雄 (The Elder Lin) and now handed over to Master Lin JingBao 林金寶 (The Younger Lin). Collectively, they are responsible for the success of Gou’s industrial ventures.
Picture
Ever since, many other tycoons are hunting them down and strangely, another FengShui master by the name of Zhang QingYuan 张清渊 publicly disclosed that he is the legitimate FengShui master for Terry Gou 郭台铭御用风水师. Zhang QingYuan 张清渊 has since been very active in the media and FengShui circle within the non-Chinese speaking community too. He has written a so called – The World’s Numero-Uno Encyclopaedia of FengShui LiQi Book 天下第一风水理气大全. You may have a chance to learn from him…

CONCLUSION

There are always 2 sides to the truth. The genuine one would preferred to be extremely low profile while the others may opt for a more glamorous path such as calling themselves as – Public Figure… Have you ever wonder why?

OLD GLAMOROUS TEACHING OF PUBLIC FIGURE FENGSHUI MASTERS

Confession of an Instructor Part One - 01122008

I remembered a conversation I had with an instructor in the self acclaimed academy of Chinese Metaphysics in town; he admits that right up to this date, he has to teach all the redundant formulae laced in the module work book that it is almost worthless. I asked, if he doesn’t believe in the system why would he continue and silent was his only reply. He then said, if by all means he could help is to go beyond the system of the academy by affording others to be aware of these redundant formulae via other means, at least his Karmic effect would have been lessened. On such accord, it will be instrumental to share with the masses of what these redundant theories are all about. Hopefully, other good souls could also help to spread the “gospel” in light of the coming Armageddon for the ride by night academy.

The lesson on 8 mansions was a disgrace. Yet these proprietors had the cheek to lace it as advance 8 mansions by incorporating the system of NaJia, when the notion of NaJia had been grossly misinterpreted. The good thing is, this proprietor advocated the House Gua instead of the Ming Gua and at least husband and wife of different Gua group will not have to sleep in separate beds. Yet the confusions is so much that later on by the day, when the introduction of Shen’s Flying Star comes into the picture, trying to blend both methods result in disasters. Yet these proprietors have the cheek to find ways of consolidation beyond the means of natural order, seemingly force fitted and they re-brand it as whatsoever for life. Can one believe it?

The most fundamental of establishing sitting and facing is grossly erred. Stepping 3 feet behind, looking outward from the inside is ridicules, not in virtue of concept but in virtue of logic. The reasons of free from magnetic interference were absolute rubbish. All from the first lesson to the last were talking about establishing facing versus location, sitting versus facing with charts that does not fit into real life applications of the LuoPan. When it comes to measuring the bed, stove and the office desk, it will be a whole lot of display of whimsical fallacies, so force fitted that students at the end of the day will require purchasing a LuoPan, of inconsistent rings, that they are only taught to use the 24 mountain ring for everything below Heaven. How thoughtful and wise, after that, be called as a practitioner. Imagined, how many others will first be conned then insult in this manner.

For the rest of the course, one seemingly consistency is the lesson on Shen’s Flying Star was taught when, the academy, in fact, did not believe in it. I would strongly recommend the book written by a Singapore Teacher Practitioner called something liked, Fundamental of the Science of FengShui, which cost lesser then a real life course and loaded with better information on the lesson of Shen’s Flying Star methodology. In a nutshell, the course is worthless. To those who are Chinese literate, might as well read from the source book of Shen Si Xuan Kong Xue, in three volumes.

However, the highlight was the instructor, whom capitalized on the academy’s fame and marketing to provide private consultation beyond the charges of the founder proprietor himself, taking all opportunity of the class to first Con his potential client, then Insult them accordingly for seemingly private BaZi readings that cost a fortune to the unassumingly students of metaphysics, notably the well to do ones. Out of fear these students duly complied to his request that always end with an audit that cost a hefty price with seemingly no follow-up. As the local market is seemingly waned, the efforts to sell these courses are booming elsewhere in the western and southern part of the world, repeating its cycle once again, in full force.

Confession of an Instructor Part Two - 01122008

In Level 2: -

The lesson starts with the so-called 8 Killing forces at its most blatant serving, almost devoid of the fact that this is indeed a SanHe method best used with a SanYuan LuoPan, how insightful? It starts with the deliberation of incoming dragon from Kan cannot meet door facing at Chen, otherwise the occupants of the property will be dead. How convenience. Next, the applied version of a house sitting in Chen cannot see broken mountain in Kan. Same disaster will befall to the occupant of the property. How convincing. Nothing mentioned about the source of this method, keeping everyone in the dark. Next, in the higher level, it was revealed that it has a later and early heaven application. This is very refreshing for a SanHe method interpreted in a SanYuan ways, a very interesting point of departure.

Next, the 8 Roads of Destruction shared the same blatant serving, using the SanYuan LuoPan, very insightful. No discussion on the nature of this method as a derivative from more reliable sources. In the higher levels, when the assistant star water method was taught, students are more confused as in one method, water exit were auspicious and the others were not. So, which is right and which is wrong? Such inconsistency is obvious for the rest of the lessons, available or noticeable only by the initiated. By the time, one knew of the facts, it would be too late. Again, the graphical representations are not reflective of the way it is applied in real life. How could the student master the art?

Next, the peach blossom water, measuring incoming with the SanYuan LuoPan again. 3 Harmony roads indicating SanHe as the followings, if there is a mountain in Shen, house sitting in Zi and water exiting in Chen, then this will form the water frames of Shen Zi Chen, conforming to the SanHe principle, obviously a method to make millionaires. Same were to be applied indoor with tables, chairs and book selves. Don’t forget the aquarium! This is SanHe methodology using the SanYuan LuoPan.

Next, the TaiYang Dau Shan date selection for the mortification of SanSha, TaiSui and SuiPo. The assumption were based on when the sun arrive at the mountain, all the evils will be pacify. Question, what has SanSha, TaiSui and SuiPo being the stars of ShenSha method has to do with this method? Are these stars evil by its own nature? Is TaiYang Dau Shan a method for date selection? Think again?

Next, the 5 Ghost carry tidbits, using the SanYuan LuoPan. This is a derivation method, only being informed to the students when they had reached level 5, as being part of the FuXing XuiFa. Complicating it with NaJia, the application was served raw in piecemeal beyond recognition, implying the application for the external. None has any clue pertaining to its application in reality.

Next, a revisit of Shen’s Flying Star and more 8 mansions screwed up theories before calling it up for the day. No question shall be entertained as more revelation will come in the higher level and kindly register with the marketer just outside of the lecture room for early bird discount. That was the parting message. Formally concluded means, the informal business of ConSulting for the instructor begins. How convenience. After graduating, students are able to call themselves as advance practitioner. Very wise indeed.
Picture

Confession of an Instructor Part Three - 01122008

In level 3 and a half: -
The opening lessons are all recognizing of landforms and its terminology of which is obvious and are largely made available in Chinese book on the same topic. Walking the dragon via the projectors with half cooked imagery, the wises choice besides FengShui entourage.

The main dish of the days is the water method in SanHe. Now, students must buy the SanHe LuoPan. What is to be used of the SanYuan LuoPan, nobody knows. The most impressive of all is the SanHe 4 major water exits. There are basically 4 structures, of which water must not be outgoing from these directions and water must best come in from these directions. It is therefore paramount important to establish the following auspicious facing to tap into the water mouth which is equivalent to the road junctions. Facing is based on the gate, so tilting of gates is the norm of SanHe FengShui, just to receive water. Use this method together with the 72 dragon for measuring the quality of the Gaps, based on the HETU luck cycle with the selections only of the Bing, Ding, Geng and Xin stems for the rest is emptiness called turtle shell and squeezing emptiness, based on WenWang NaJia postulation. Interesting hypothesis indeed. These are all fallacies.

The sub-dishes are nothing but the introduction of mountain method notably of LaiGong’s human plate, measuring and divination of the embrace, determine the quality of the veins and spots using the 60 dragons, taught in half heartedly without dwelling in the basics of how would such 60 dragons be established from the outer to the inner rings of the LuoPan. A brushing encounter of the 3 auspicious 6 elegance method of embrace for the evaluation of the vicinity, as a standalone technique devoid of the water method, classify as SanHe and solely squeeze into the 24 mountain Earth plate of the SanHe LuoPan. These are also fallacies.

Again, upon graduation, one is entitled to be called; super advance practitioner and God bless all. Until such, no clue whatsoever of taking a sitting and a facing the SanHe method. This time around, the instructor has no time to answer question let alone do any sideline income from the students.

十神动静 - 10 GODS DYNAMICS

It was fun participating in a BaZi pop-quiz organized by JLim in the now ‘reborn’ fivearts.info forum… In this challenge, JLim asked;

“Today is Valentine's day.  Let's have a quiz about love... and separation.  Choose when this lady married and then quickly divorced; 2007 Ding Hai, 2009 Ji Chou, 2011 Xin Mao, 2013 Gui Si, 2015 Yi Wei. Please choose one year only, and your reasoning using any method (Bazi, ZWDS, Liu Yao, QMDJ, Meihua, Tarot, Mahjong divination etc.). +6 karma points for the correct answer with reasoning. A simple reasoning will do.  No karma point for correct answer but without reasoning at all. The Chinese hour is correct with or without adjustment to solar time. I will announce the answer after at least 15 people participate.  But I will only send my Bazi analysis by pm to those who participate.”

True enough, none of the 15 participants participated are BIG NAMES, liked – “You Know Who…”. Those participated are all small fries including JayTee. The Big Names have reputation to keep, imagine what if they answer wrongly? For the small fries liked JayTee, it is a good opportunity to test out their wits and to make sure that they are confident enough to just give – one answer, without having to revise their answer at one go… You just cannot simply say, maybe… might be… could be… in real audits. You have to know your arts well minus the guessing games. This challenge is even more interesting because, JLim wanted the participant to write down, how do they derive their decision… OMG… you must read the commentary as it is the most intriguing dynamics among the various arts on display from the so commonly known ZiPing to ‘No Name’ divination techniques all in one go – Superb! Yet, none of the 15 participants, I presumed, would have known who this BaZi chart belongs to…

Later, JLim broke the news by saying;

“The answer is 2011 XinMao.  She married and divorced in the same year!  Thank you to quiz participants!  Her husband was a policeman, who loved to gamble.  He gambled a lot of their money and lost everything.  Because of this, they got into a huge fight and divorced.  As of end of 2015, she was still single.  I see that she will marry twice in her life.  More Bazi details on how to see wealth loss, her marriage and divorce later through PM.”

Dawn upon the participants that only 4 out of the 15 make the correct predictions. Among these 4 are the so common technique of ZiPing BaZi served raw – no acrobatic pictorial method or something similar… Who says ZiPing BaZi cannot use? The aftermath was a series of self-reflections and soul searching and one in particular, caught our attention;

“The answer is right there! Mao clashes with Subject You and at the same time combines with the Object Xu. Very straight forward, yet is unseen. It is so much easier to read the hexagram when you know the answer eh?”

So, it does really make more sense with post-diction instead of pre-diction, right? That’s life… That is the reason why many BaZi teachers love to use post-diction of known celebrities to showcase their skills. It is simply very exciting when you work backward to narrow down to an observation. Only good teacher would do a life expose of all his/her students without prior notice in class to be testified by the students themselves… If your teacher don’t do that, you better run away far-far…

In fact, the good old fashioned, ZiPing BaZi has not really lost its teeth… Someone did say;

“There are many-many BaZi theories around.
The one used most often is referring to the month as the anchor.
Another theory refers to the month for structure only and not for strength.
Another refers to heaven, earth and man. Meaning calculated using all the 8 palaces.
The least well known theory refers to resources and resources only, nothing else…”

You can see, there are many ways to skin the cat… Yet, how many can it be used? That is the Question?

THE ZIPING DYNAMICS

Assuming that it is not born in season, it is rendered a weak chart, favouring resource and self. Here we determined the strength of the Day Stem to be in consistent with modern ZiPing approach.

Fast forward, narrow down to the spouse star, high possibility is when the Xin辛 is protruding. Why we say, Xin辛 as the spouse star instead of the officer star? Someone did say, “Wei and BingXu are Spouse Stars, while Wu is Spouse Palace.”  This is one problem with ZiPing… What exactly is what?

Bing丙 is the officer star to Geng 庚. The Home Palace have Wei未 and Wu午 combination. Will that form fire? Mind you there is a constant clash between Chou丑 and Wei未, how to combine? Different school, different stroke again…

Assuming it does not, this Geng 庚 is still sitting on her officer Wu午. Is this officer官 star favourable to Geng 庚? Again this come to the question of Officer and Killing 官杀, different school, different stroke…

Someone suggests, “Mao combines to move Wei, so marriage occurred.” Look at this carefully, Mao卯 combine with Xu戌 also forming fire. Will it transform? Which season do we look into? Different school, different stroke… Will Wei未 combine after being clashed by Chou丑?

Someone suggests, “Xin as Rob Wealth is inauspicious in this chart.” Look at this carefully again… How can Xin辛 be an unfavourable god to a weak Geng 庚? Isn’t a weak chart favours Self and Resource?

Maybe this is the reason, “The chart works by Geng combining with Yi, but Xin clashing Yi is inauspicious, leading to wealth loss.” Look at this extreme carefully… How do Geng庚 combine with Yi乙 when it is so far apart? Really, cannot figure this out…

The final straw, “The divorce happened in LP Bing Xu, because this LP is the "arrival" of Xu to punish Wei and Mao AP also combines to trigger Xu.”, Look at this extreme carefully… XinMao 辛卯 cannot just come and combine away without negotiating with BingXu 丙戌. Don’t even know if such has already been activated yet… Again, different school, different stroke…

THE IMAGERY DYNAMICS

GengWu 庚午 lady as was described by one website – “… the KING maker. Geng the raw iron is useless when it is not forge, with Ding fire, it forge itself into Axe - a tool that know no fear. Geng the most vicious sitting on Ding its very own Direct Officer which is the cardinal force. This give it the ability to be righteous. Ding fire shine the clear path in times of darkness, it’s the very fire that remove fear, remove all doubt. GengWu has a resilient personality. They get thing done quickly and swift. Ding give them clear sight and detail while still being elegant like the night star in a clear sky.”

When Bing meet Xin – “Bing 丙 Fire + Xin 辛 Metal = Water. Water epitomized being stray and betrayal. Bing 丙 Fire is passion while Xin 辛 Metal is beauty, over indulgence in woman, wine & music. Chinese has a saying that see money (Xin) turn into Water 见财化水. Fire countering metal. Bing丙 Fire, pictorially liked a Sun, now will literally melting away the small Xin 辛 Metal.” We seriously don’t know how could that be? The Sun only make the metal shines brighter! “In exchange the transformation produce Wisdom (Water). Transformation only happen in the month of Chen (辰) Dragon, Shen (申) Monkey, Hai (亥) Pig & Zi (子) Rat.”

In conclusion, she is hype out being get thing done quickly and swift and marrying the guy. Only to find that see money (Xin) turn into Water 见财化水. Trouble. She took the noble step as Geng the raw iron is useless when it is not forge, with Ding fire, it forge itself into Axe - a tool that know no fear. She divorce him. End of story…

氣流 - QI FLOW

FengShui can never be an exact science. To be science, Qi has to be first observable. Yet, there are plenty of things that are not observable per se. For example, light, sounds, wave and so forth. Yet, these are science, material physics and so forth. FengShui on the other hand is bluff-ology, fake, superstition, meta-physics and so forth. When Qi is not observable, it cannot be measurable. Without a unit of measurable Qi, no quantifiable data could be established. Without such data, no hypothesis could be derived from and therefore, the art of manipulating Qi liked FengShui is therefore not science but meta-sciences, a more diplomatic way to say, it is pure bullshit. Yet, science itself has its expiry date. Thomas S Khun described it in his seminal work – the Structure of Scientific Revolution, by introducing the word paradigm shift.

By looking at FengShui, not as a science but a paradigm, GuoPu has this to say, Earth is the mother of Qi, Qi is the mother of Water and when Qi moves, water moves and when Qi stops, water coagulates. This is what he called FengShui. We cannot observe Qi but the Khunian paradigm prescribed that we could observe an assumption, that Qi has the characteristic of water. By observing water, we could observe Qi. Qi movement has since become the sole criteria of FengShui evaluation, as in according to GuoPu. Therefore, the moon, the sun, the Coriolis Effect, Bernoulli Effect and the sort are all the integral part that effect Qi movements.

These enable Qi to be observable. It brings the observer the pattern cognition, as in forms, spaces, solids and voids. In FengShui, Qi flow becomes the first manner to acquire, failing so, it is called bad FengShui. The entire corpus of YangGong through his writing such as YuChe Jing, QingNan AoYou and TianYu Jing are but the textbook telling you the precise paradigm of acquiring Qi.
Qi itself is universal. It is the same that make the entire universe tick, your heart beep and your blood flows, your organs rejuvenate, your plant grows and so forth. In FengShui, there is only one concern, the unit of Qi called ShengQi. Like anything in the universe, Qi has its YinYang.

Qi appears as solidify or fluid. Solidify Qi is earth, taking forms of mountains and when it moves liked the mountain veins, they are called dragon. Solidify Qi seems to be moving, therefore, fluidity in nature. They are Yang but yet Yin. To receive such Qi, you ride on it. Yet, how do you ride when the “horse-back” is relatively moving? You never ride a dragon. Textbook solution, would warrant you to search for one that is “still” and not moving. You will never find one! The real art, after Qi flow is to understand stillness and movement. This is rarely taught…

Qi that is not solidify, fills the universe. Yet, the text tell us that it is liked water. This unit of Qi fills your lungs. It require a vessel to contain. We coined it as tapping Qi. Liked a human being, the body is the vessel, the mouth/nose is the receptacle to receive Qi. In a house, as in Zhai, the mansions, the four walls form the vessel and the main door, receptacle to receive Qi. Would the windows or any aperture be of the same as the main door? That you will have to find out for yourself. There is no different between people acquiring Qi, NaQi with a house acquiring Qi. Only you will find teachers in the west advocating that ChangQi or riding Qi is for earth Qi, ShouQi or receiving Qi is for Heaven Qi and NaQi, or acquiring Qi is for Human Qi. If that is true, body odour also becomes a unit measurement of Qi. Liked traditional Chinese medicine, heat and dampness become another domain that is also rarely taught…

Coming back to the first principles, what made these restaurants such as DingTaiFung 鼎泰豐 and Go Noodle House 有間麵館 tick? The auspicious syllabus that they picked up from the 64 Hexagram to make up their brands? Each and every branch of these FnB retails embodied the pattern cognition, as in forms, spaces, solids and voids in FengShui as in Qi flow that becomes the first manner to acquire ShengQi. These outlets therefore enjoy good FengShui. Riding or tapping is only the way we prescribed the art. In reality, landform always come first, 理氣無真,巒頭無假. Forms allow Qi to be observed but how do you measure one? Interesting to note that thinker liked Nassim Haramein provoked one to think that sound waves also affecting droplet of water creating what is probably called, water's surface tension resonates in alignment with sound waves of various frequencies creating increasingly complex geometries through each harmonic until the structure eventually loses its coherency (Full video clip HERE). If sounds can influence water, by the same token, it can also influence Qi? Being, Qi the mother of water? Qi may moves because of wind? Sound, in this case? How does sound in Chinese metaphysics affect Qi? 五音, the 5 pentatonic melody? How to apply in FengShui?
Picture
The true art of FengShui is vested not only in the theory, but in application. How does Qi moves? Some says it vibrates, oscillates, spirals and so forth. What if Qi movement resembles the Golden Section? Anyone agree or disagree? If you don't understand how Qi moves, how do you draw a Qi map of a place? Worse, where to measure Qi? The recent clips showing how your Wifi spread in your house (full video clip HERE), demonstrated at least how Qi may vibrate, oscillate, spiral and so forth within the four walls or enclosures. It also shows the potency of the Heavenly Heart. Someone asked, “Sir, with all due respect. Would you kindly please also put in your analysis of how you assessed and improved the FengShui of the area? This would be very helpful to us when you SHARE your discoveries. On the other hand, I also admit to the fact that as meagre as my FS application is, it is not to say I depend on the crumbs of FengShui AUDIT knowledge given by well-meaning FengShui practitioners. But it will make a world of difference if YOUR person does truly share please.” And we only responded, “Analysis of such nature will be covered in our BASIC FUNDAMENTAL COURSE. Surprisingly not many schools take such Qi flow seriously... If you are keen, do visit us HERE”. Do you want to find out more?

SOME OLD THOUGHTS ON QI MOVEMENT

FengShui Basic - Locating A Succesful Retail Outlet

 - 04092011

In a series of articles to come, we shall discuss about the fundamental of FengShui as a per-cursor to our maiden workshop on FengShui. Lets look at the simple unsophisticated ways of selecting a successful retail outlet... Locating a successful retail outlet is an art. Entering Earth Eye 入地眼 stipulates the characteristic of Qi. Those who misunderstood such thought that water placements are the only answer.  By so doing what is generally known as water lizards as though they are water dragons were created. Pity that they also could not differentiate between jade belt and sickle formations. At the end,one succumb to other sorts of voodoo methods to make things work. Is this FengShui? Not really. They are magician by professions. One of the pet techniques in locating successful outlets is to receive incoming Qi through a vertical Qi map. Yet both cases presented herein showed otherwise. One successful Japanese outlet with patrons queue up just to grab a chair while the other well known "Gui LingGao" stall vacant for the lack of patron. Both are receiving prosperous incoming Qi. Something must be really wrong, isn't it? There are fundamental basic knowledge a FengShui practitioner must have devoid of the hocus-pocus stuff.

FengShui Basic - 8 Aspirations

- 20112011

In the discourse of Internal FengShui, you will term with 8 aspirations school: there will be sector for academic, wealth, health, romance and so forth. The 8 aspirations school is a modified method. If there is a basis for Life Palace analysis in XuanKong, there must also be the basis of Wealth, Health, Academic, Romance and so forth. These are the specific purpose. The problem is we seldom ask beyond what has been given. While we spoke about specific purpose, the 8 aspirations are the common needs within a household. The question is, have we not achieved the aspirations after investing our hard earned money into learning FengShui? Is it the theory we learnt is faulty or the teacher simply doesn’t bother to teach the correct applications? Such, I leave it for you to contemplate. Aspiration is personal. Unfortunately, in modern times, money is the yardstick. Predecessors liked Yang - the Savior of the Poor to Lai - the Wanderers in Cotton Robe, live in low profiles and avoid glamor. Maverick Jiang – the Keeper of Heavenly Secrets has to have his disciple sponsor his retirement home. By the same token, if honest masters were to walk their forefather’s path, wouldn’t they too end up in such a situation? Contrary, the “CON-sultants” who will live a posh life from Giorgio to Armani, while promoting FengShui as expansive hobbies. We came across a place dedicated to a FengShui "extremely low profile" grandmaster of the past. He conceals himself as a beggar and helps the poor to have better lives based on the principles of affinity. One question remains, why wouldn’t he use his knowledge to make himself fabulous? Would a rich client come to him for FengShui advice? Such, I also leave it for you to contemplate. Look around us today. If one takes FengShui as a career, the good one will end up liked their forefathers - childless, die-young or ultimately, live a pauper. If one takes FengShui to prosper oneself then to help others to achieve the same, it is no longer a career but a charity. Charity must always stem from education. So, why shy away from teaching others the correct path and learn from our past mistakes? In doubt, affinity is always the guiding principles – that is what QuanYuan is all about.

FengShui Basic - To Move or Not Move

- 08112011

Movement and Stillness, these are the two words that are simple yet complicated.

"It begins with movement; hardly can see a thing, when it comes to stillness, all begin to understand. When one sees stillness as the essential marvel, how may one knows that movement is the foundation?"

A competent practitioner would utilize an unfavorable sector to his advantages. A competent BaZi consultant would also use the negative gods. Beginners’ mistake is to equate the use of Eight Mansions with Flying Stars. These are two methods with different fundamentals. Eight Mansions stem from Early Heaven while Flying Stars stem from Later Heaven. Not surprising if someone were to asked, “What if the sector has a JueMing but yet a favorable 8 wealth star?”

Eight Mansions talked about Gua Qi, elemental relationship. Flying Stars talked about GuaXiang, imagery. The Classics state, “The Gua imagery is established on the basis of their meanings; understand the images and forget the words – the idea is clear of itself. The whole world delusively clings to the imagery; uses GuaQi and rise in levitation.” The elusive meaning of GuaQi remains the key, which many teachers refused to depart.

Evaluating internal spaces, GuaQi remains an important factor. What would be the reference for the interior? Such is called the YinYang boundary. It is the point to distribute the stars. The strangest thing is why must the reference be located at the center? Why must the Wedge be placed at the center? Why must one even smack the 9 Grids forcefully into the house plan as though there is a physical boundary between Qi? What if the physical demarcation of architectural walls differs from the 9 Grids? Why must there be even Grid Vs Wedge? Such reflects the lack of understanding in FengShui fundamentals.

The grid and wedge are simultaneously deployed. The wedge referred to the art of LiPan, establishing the LuoPan. The Grid is an aid of accessing Qi maps. While drawing up Qi maps and establishing the LuoPan became the integral part of a competent practitioner, many were not taught the proper way of doing such. To convince one that Qi moves as LoShu would not guarantee one’s application of eight mansions or FlyingStar is correct. The key is not with LoShu, but to understand how Qi spirals in 3 dimensions and work thereof. Such will work perfectly with whatever given architectural plans.

Only then, would the knowledge of stillness and movement work within the misconstrued Direct/Indirect Spirits, another malicious subject. In summary, Internal FengShui is all about the art of identifying internal Qi maps, activating, receiving or transforming  through the various essentials of a Yang Dwelling.
Saying thus, the success rate is still within its external!

FengShui Basic - Specific Purpose In Generic

- 03112011

It is very common for householders to suggest generic needs such as the well-being of the family while residing in the house. I would say it is generally accepted norms to prioritize well-being as the first criteria in residential FengShui. However, the notion of well-being is far too generic and it became the burden to the practitioner of not defining such in the onset of their audits. So, as a prudent measure, seasoned practitioners would qualify further assuming: -

1. Family Harmony ranks priority
2. Health Improvement for the Elderly
3. Wealth opportunity for the Bread Winner
4. Academic achievement for the school going children

These became the so called “specific purpose” which may have been silent in the pretext of “good health and good wealth” generic needs. Saying thus nothing is deemed to have been cast in stone, as this is a living art, best demonstrated by the following example.

We audited a small family where the gentleman is living with his mum while his dad had passed away. So, we only have 2 variables to deal with, one, the bread earner and two, the elderly mother. The gentleman is single and working in a multinational company. Needless to say, opportunity for promotions and meeting the opposite sexes would automatically be the priority while for his mum, health improvement ranks supreme. At this juncture, we are able to narrow down to a specific purpose and with very simple alteration using the so called “kindergarten” 8 mansions, he was promoted. We also observed there is a better change in his attitude towards other which results in him attracting the opposite sexes. His mother, on the other hand, has less sleepless night and less worry. We could not believe such a simple method would bring about good results and more importantly his dad has a permanent place within his blessed home. When identifying water mouth became difficult, use Heaven Qi approach, as this art is a living art.

Residential FengShui is more challenging in that forms as compared to Commercial FengShui, where the bottom line is profitability. As we grew wiser in our practices, we noticed that a good practitioner is able to intervene in any given situation. He does not run away when situation does not present upon him an ideal situation such as what if the Killing Forces in the area is overly strong? Move away? What if he cannot afford to do so? What will be the better alternatives? Drop the case and ask him to look for other practitioners instead?

Any competent practitioners would have made mistake. More importantly, he must be humble enough to learn from it. The Chinese Ideal of first Destiny, second Luck, third FengShui, fourth Meritorious Deed and fifth Education had been greatly misunderstood. For example, Education is a reserved privilege for the male gender in the aristocratic Chinese community. Does it means to say, female is devoid a chance to improve on their Destinies, for not being given the opportunity for education? No, education in the simple Chinese nuance means learning from one’s mistake and takes step to improve oneself. This is the very basis of doing meritorious deed to oneself and others will naturally comes its way.

“The cosmos lies in one’s hand, the ten thousand transformations are born from oneself.”

FengShui Basic - Learning To Unlearn

- 04112011

When comes to learning FengShui, one of the most regrettable aspect is to hastily put to test what one has learned and easily discard it when good results are not seen. Sometimes it is always the hype that what is learnt is always better then what has already known. Doubt is always the best teacher as it is the devil and angel in the same package. For instances, internal Qi manipulations will not work if one does not know how to receive or acquire Qi from the greater external. That is why FlyingStar, 8 Mansions and the sorts are just as good theory on paper. A Qi container (house) will always remain empty unless one put something into it. It reminds me of the following sayings: -

“Swallowing saliva and acquiring breath are human actions; only when one knows the Way, one is able to form and transform, just liked in a Ding (tripod) there is no True Seed, liken to use water and fire to boil an empty pot”

So, when one fails to see result, we blame the method that was taught was incorrect and we fails to see that it is the reluctant of the teacher to pass on the “key”, for whatever reasons. It is only upon seeing and watching carefully of how a teacher executes his work in real life audit, would then one able to know the conditions for a method to work. Such will traditionally comes with a bucket load of insults and intimidations from being a coolie to someone holding the teacher’s bag and umbrella. In the modern context, it will be par on material gains which is nothing to be surprised of.

The complexities of residential FengShui is such that if nothing could be done to the Main Door and the Bedroom or even the Kitchen Stove such as a portable stove over a fixed stove so as to get a “perfect” XKDG hexagram, what else could be done? One friend from France suggested that to take a hammer to activate all the good SanSha points and at the same time digging all the relevant parts in the yard to challenge the 5 yellow. Such is not always the way.

Another case in example, a gentleman passed his prime and ended up retrenched with a family to feed. What would be the specific purpose in this case? Food on the table is the priority. Does one go about tilting doors, tables, stoves and maybe beds? This family has not enough money to do the necessary and one strange thing was even the bed was built-into the wall. A simple intervention of changing the joss urn made it possible for the gentlemen age 50 to be employed. Can such be considered simple achievement for a specific purpose?

A competent practitioner never stop learning and practicing. By practicing on the fields he learns something new and unlearns something old. Every case has its own set of challenges and limitations, if it is not carefully dealt with, it may haunt you forever. Yet, when you know that the FengShui methods you used, improve the lives of the many such as healing the sick, putting enough food on the dining table, getting childless couple to finally have children and helping your peers and students to have a decent promotions, the satisfactoriness of such meritorious deeds are far better than creating the number of millionaires.

Perhaps, such wisdom  may appease our doubtful minds: -

"It begins with movement; hardly can see a thing, when it comes to stillness, all begin to understand. When one sees stillness as the essential marvel, how may one knows that movement is the foundation?"

FengShui Basic - The Alchemy of FengShui

- 04112011

Internal FengShui is modified from FengShui of the external. A grave has only one room but a House has many rooms. Does it translate into many sittings and facings? Each and every room has its own “Flying-Star” chart? Each door leading to the room is the reference point?

Observing SanHe practitioner at work is thought provoking. He spends his time measuring every inch of the walls while a XKDG practitioner may just measure door. Wouldn’t these two diverse methods bore different results?

Chinese nuances may differ in its meaning of “sit” and “seat”. So the question of measuring the sitting of the house, door, et-cetera may eventually differ from that of measuring seating of the house, door, et-cetera. So, when we look at FlyingStar chart, do we consider sitting mountain as “seating” mountain instead? But, most importantly, how do you define a “seating mountain”?

Perhaps seating is confusing, let us investigate facing instead. Searching the internet for methods of establishing facing, one will be amazed that there are many ways to go about it, from the main door as facing to the main facade as facing. What if all the 4 facades are identical facing an empty land? I guess, that will be the nightmare for FlyingStar practitioners.

The onset is fundamentally simple. Each has its own Taiji. Before that, How to establish the Taiji spot? How Qi flows? The intricate part, how to receive Qi or acquiring Qi. Both differ depending on techniques. Worse of the lot is to believe that this element grows this element, If I am this element, then it grows me, this is call ShengQi! I call it BullShit!

Internal FengShui is similar to Internal Alchemy. Contemplate such: -

Jing (Essense), Qi (Energy) and Shen (Spirits) affect one another. When it follows the flow it forms the Coporeal Form; when they invert the flow, they generate the Elixir. The flow is the one begets two, two beget three, three beget the ten thousand things…inverting the flow, the ten thousand things return to the three, the three returns to the two and the two returns to the ultimate one. Those who know the way, look after their Coporeal Form, they nourish their corporeal form to refine their Essense, accumulates it and transmuted it into Energy, refining such to merge it into their Spirits to revert to Emptiness.

Now, the question is what is the Jing (Essense), Qi (Energy) and Shen (Spirits) of your living abode?

楊公古法分叉水 - THE WATERSHED OF YANGGONG OLD SCHOOL

THE YANGGONG OLD SCHOOL WATER SHED...

No school is perfect. The Bolehland Conmaster loved to use this very case to demonstrate how bad is his former teacher's YinZhai skill. Apparently this very tomb has been much talked about in the Chinese Metaphysics websites in Chinese and often then not, many other masters would take up this case to bash up the Godfather of YangGong GuFa especially so, from the so called SanYuan proponent. What goes around comes around as the Chinese saying goes, as the Godfather of YangGong GuFa did not mince his words when bashing up other schools within the region of GanZhou including those living in the SanLiao village. Append herewith is part of an example of the sheer criticism lambasted towards the Godfather of the YangGong GuFa...

Picture

GANZHOU PREFECTURE DEPUTY MAYOR LIU'S ANCESTRAL TOMB

2007, October - The author has disciple seeking to rush to GanZhou to study (the late) grandmaster Li DingXing's masterpiece - the GanZhou prefecture, deputy mayor's Liu ancestral tomb. This tomb stated year 2003 sitting Xu facing Chen seats BingXu Xue. (the late) grandmaster Li DingXing spent 3 years to locate this spot. It is said that this meridian is absolutely splendid. The author finds it difficult to imagine.

CRITICISM OF GRANDMASTER LI'S WORK

This location comprises of GanZhou prefecture HongQi resevoir (close to the lake and river nearby). Reaching the spot one look deeply dissapointed. Based on the Hakka's way of saying, it overlooked on's standard. This is just but one ordinary location. Have such obvious defects. Ordinary level master would have easily observed.

1. Reversed bow water unsentimental. Front mountain have unstable Qi flowing to the front of the tomb. Stream water flow like a reverse bow shooting the Xue resulted in descendent not obedient, wealth diminishes.

2. The tomb was constructed too low with front mountain too high, supressing. Causing human affair not smooth. Based on host officer star, it is supressed not sentimental. Host officer star point of view, there will be no promotion, descendent very hard to posper. Based on mountain form, observed one breath of demonic Qi, cannot be fooled around. This grave certainly produce peeping woman’s habitual descendants. This is because the body is very low like ling on the floor, lifting the head to peep above seeing the mountain. The mountain forms look like a crossed leg woman with her private part exposed. Have locate Xun as female palace. Combined like lying on the floor to peep at woman’s underskirt.

3. Green dragon sink do not protect the Xue. Both mountains GuiChou direction sunken gaps. Host and children have difficulties.

4. The entire form is a thirsty almost dying bird. Jugged water edge liked a drunken belly. The place behind looked like a hunter’s arrow? This dragon is LuChun and WenQu in contrast this form, both inauspicious deities once not openly face. Where got Xue!

The rest of the commentaries were gibberish and we shall not repeat here... We just let our readers to have a feel of the sort of bombardment by others regarding this masterpiece by the late Godfather of YangGong GuFa.

WHAT HAS ACTUALLY GONE WRONG...

As demonstrated this tomb was FengShui(ed) by the late grandmaster Li DingXing for the Liu's family. After the burial it was said that the Liu's family undergone sheer bad luck with the bread winner demoted and one of his new born suffered from birth defect. All these was accounted to the late grandmaster's sheer incompetence and thereafter it was known as the YangGong GuFa watershed that has invited all sorts of sacasms and insults from the other various schools of FengShui, with one stated as an example, from the XuanKong school.

One biggest landform defects as mentioned is what probably known as the Reverse Bow Water 反弓水. Back in 2007, one will notice that the river splits with one crossing the bright hall as Reverse Bow Water 反弓水. We do not think that this is the cause of the problem. The root issue is the water split as its incoming water thus receiving watershed formation. What is a watershed, this we shall contemplate later. In the googlemaps of 2016, it is noticed that this defect has been rectified, most likely by another master.

This is also a case that the late grandmaster Li DingXin, wanted to demonstrate his confidence in selecting the earth Xue, among the rest of the elements. He is very confidence that the earth element follows water. Unfortunately, he failed to observe that the formation is receiving Mao water instead of Zi water, thus receiving Death instead of Prosperous water formation...

So, the late grandmaster Li DingXing can also be wrong? Well, who is him, after all?

SOMETHING ABOUT THE LATE GRANDMASTER LI DINGXIN

The late grandmaster Li DingXing, was the head of the GanZhou largest school of YangGong FengShui establishment. He coined the word YangGong GuFa or YangGong Old Method as a branding to distinguish his teaching from the rest of "merry man" FengShui masters earning their livings in SanLiao villages nearby, whom he unapologetically called  JiangHu masters (similar to our Bolehland Conmasters). He received his art from his uncle, whom inherited the arts from a long lineage of YangGong practitioners back to the Qing Dynasty as the Imperial FengShui masters. He published a number of books notably the 49 rings of the Chinese LuoPan Explained, where within it, he disclosed, censored and sarcastically bombarded others as JiangHu masters. It is also from his writing that most of us outside the circle of the GanZhou school came to know about YangGong method and one of the Bolehland Conmaster actually begged under his feet to be taught only, later to become the traitor of his own school… If you need the detail please PM us…

Confronting Y? - 08052012

A common account of Land form is the challenge to deal with the “Pulling Nose” and the “Piercing Heart” afflictions (ShaQi). Similarly so when we deal with buildings sitting or facing the “Y” configure road, either with Pulling Nose or Piercing Heart effect. Classics are mutually contradicting on these accounts. Their contradictions, however, is consistent if one understand the overall concepts it ought to explain. Here is where applications differ so much from mere theory.

A “Y” configuration is either a road splits into two or both roads connect into one. The former is known to be a water mouth and the latter is known as the water shed. The question is always; will a building facing the water mouth be as auspicious to a building facing a water shed, or vice-versa? Next, a pulling nose effect will happen when the road is flowing outward from the house facing while the piercing Heart effect will happen when the road is flowing inward from the house facing. Compounding both effects to the water shed or water mouth; you end up having a cocktail of “ShaQi” to deal with. Worse, if the setting is within an urban area where the roads are defined by rows of building creating what is probably known as Heavenly Chop afflictions or wind gaps. This is why it is FengShui taboo for a house to face a road or Y junction.

Many case studies revealed that houses in such a location are either vacant or dilapidated. If strictly by the books, it calls for avoidance and probably what is the point of doing FengShui in the first place if there is no cure? However, it is not necessary to be true. There are houses and shops prosper. The question is always – Why? In such doing, it is a land form issue; require a land form solution and probably not the over rated XKDG Fighting Afflictions formula based method.

Confronting Y again? - 25052014

Reflecting one of the article in the now, defunct blog - 13Voices, about Property located on a WaterShed will sure to meet its doom, many of the observations revealed otherwise. It is a FengShui External Taboo no-1 that state, NEVER locate your property in a watershed. For us in QuanYuan, there is a way to go about it - fortunately.

A “Y” configuration is either a road splits into two or both roads connect into one. The former is known to be a water mouth and the latter is known as the watershed. Our article entitled "Confronting Y" is a good reflection of such that it is never Bad FengShui if a property is located in a watershed subject that you know how to position your entrance. The HongKong master always refer to such as "Confronting SanSha".
Picture
A case in reference, Shop-A is located in a location that fulfilled its YinYang structure. Used to be a good F&B shop and it was audited by a YangGong master. Few years down the road, it ceased to operate due to high rental.

Shop-B is located in a location of the so called watershed. Many operators failed that include F&B operators. The last tenant rope in another not very well known master. The rest is history. It prosper liked nobody business. You practically have to queue up to get a seat.

The morale of the story, watershed FengShui is salvageable and if you know what to do it brings you windfall.

The Principle of Cul De Sac And Sucking Egg - 06042009

The Neo Urbanism movement has in favour of bringing back the community to scale, opposite of the megalomaniac principle of modernism where size does matter. In the discourse of modern urban design principle, we toyed around the 2 principle ideas of urban form one called the fine grain and the other as the coarse grain. Fine grains are found mostly in traditional town such as Kyoto and ShengYang where the fine grains are reflected to the scale of the roof against the height of the built forms which centralised on the human scale as a reference point. Whereas the coarse grains are modern solutions to our modern problem of congestion, over population and scarcity of land, in which these fine grain towns are stacked up vertically in forms of high rise mega structure with complex networks of roads, flyovers and vertical mapping, called plugs in and plugs out.

The failure of modern urban design principle in addressing the issue of human scale has paved way to the ideology of Neo Urbanism, where the human scale becomes the vital yard stick in examining urban design components such as landmarks, gateways, plaza, edge, nodes and paths are instituted to the right size of a human scale before it is implemented. One product that has signified such an arrival in Malaysia is reflected in Putrajaya, the new administrative capital to Kuala Lumpur.

In the course of my work in Valencia Sungai Buloh, one principle of Neo Urbanism that I find practical is cul-de-sac which give birth to clustered residential with ample parks and pathways clustered liked organic cells, hugging the contours, each manifesting its own identity as a community beacon with huge potentials to grow itself to another community as an entire organism of human inhabitants. In reality only the rich can afford such a dwelling in such a community. It is only the non Architectural trained FengShui master that makes an issue to such wonderful urban solutions by saying it is a sickle formation, therefore very bad Sha Qi – what a disgrace!

What is a sickle formation? Roads that wrap around the cul-de-sac are similar to rivers that wrap around an island and at the concave side of the roads or rivers are deemed to be cut by the sickle, where this is called sickle formation. This is crap!

Second, if there are fewer vehicles, the sickle formation will be less effective. This is another crap! Qi does not travel in car, as Qi does not have a valid driving license. When wind moves, Qi moves. When Qi stop, water coagulates.

Third, in the cul-de-sac formation, there may be a bright hall as the island park. The classics say, bright hall eliminate Sha Qi. So where is the sickle formation?

Fourth, if the sickle is nowhere to be found, how about the pulling nose or piercing heart ShaQi for the unit facing the incoming road that either flow out or flowing in? A pulling nose formation is where water is flowing outward from the main door of the unit in question. Whereas, piercing heart is where water is flowing in directed towards the main door of the unit in question. Answer, these are craps again as the bright hall filters out the unnecessary ShaQi, if any. So what is wrong with a cul-de-sac clustered community, FengShui wise?

Fifth, units facing the water gates are deemed less auspicious based on the premise that water gates must be locked, so that Qi will not disperse. Another less noble saying is that, it is not pleasant to face a property at the ass of the neighbourhood. However such minor concerns can easily be taken cared of by placing what designer called neighbourhood beacons as gateways. So, there is really no fuss at all.

Imagine, getting a FengShui master to teach Architect and Urban Designer to deal with the sickle ShaQi problem is liked teaching them to suck eggs? This is absolutely unwarranted. Worst, if one has to pay a premium for the art of egg sucking, such notion is unimaginable.

Good luck to the egg suckers…

Egg Sucking Jade Belt - 19042010

Strange, wonder what is the different between a Sickle and a Jade Belt formation? That is why there are some suck-eggs practitioners who claimed that all cul-de-sacs are just bad FengShui and yet some claimed island site with roads wrapping around are liked the jade belt around the officer's waist. Very novel indeed.

These brought to mind 2 distinctive developments, namely the KL Sentral at the upper stream and Mid Valley at the lower stream. What makes Mid Valley stands apart from KL Sentral although in terms of logistic, KL Sentral stood to be superior then Mid Valley?

Perhaps the answer is in the Jade Belt Formations or otherwise, egg sucking formation?

VH is set on becoming a lifestyle shopping centre that is aimed at rejuvenating the 'dead' Jalan Loke Yew area in Cheras. This latest retail landmark in the KL landscape is part of the KSC’s aim to redevelop UE3 building, as part of a 2-phase mixed development with a RM70 million makeover in the first round… If you believe in the ancient art of FengShui being the reason that Plaza Uncang Emas UE3 has not been successful despite its location, you may be correct… Hopefully with this revamp …it will make it this time, as reported by propwall.my in 2010. Unfortunately, the fact is that it failed to deliver what has been promised. Has this got to do with the wrong FengShui again?

LANDFORM 巒頭

This mall sits on a small hill, receiving the vein from Gen direction with water exiting Kun direction favoring wood formation. However, the biggest problem vested on its location – the water shed. A water shed is a case in which outgoing water is from every direction, therefore this piece of property will bleed financially. Observing both of the entrances, one will notice that Qi is leaking everywhere…

As reported by propwall.my, there will be renovating to make it more 'open' and removed and re positioned some of the escalators. Yet, shops facing the so called - incoming Qi escalator have yet to see any improvement as the entire mall is devoid of people. Without a good external, would a good internal Qi map plays a part? I doubt so…

Interesting enough, the main lobby was located at the upper level instead of the natural ground. If you notice carefully there is an inbuilt killing Qi called drenched head water 淋头水 just above the main entrance. If truly, this property has been FengShui-ed, the practitioner has failed in many counts to discharge his obligation. Looking at this “masterpiece”, it can be safely said that he knows nut about what FengShui is all about.

XKDG APPROACH 玄空大卦

The market driven XKDG 玄空大卦 do not concern much about the steps of defining YinYang. Most XKDG 玄空大卦 junkies go about doing the door tilting going straight to XKDG 玄空大卦 64 hexagram omitting the rest of the 8 Gua to 24 mountains and so forth. On this basis, we narrow down to just the 64 hexagram techniques.

The standard XKDG 玄空大卦 structure is to align Dragon Mountain Facing Water 龍山向水 to achieve YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清 by virtue of Dragon matching Facing, Mountain matching Water in the combination of HeTu, 10, 15, 5 or the same. Once you achieve these sacred combinations, it is deemed that Qi is able to communicate. Some school uses the period number called period luck whereas other uses the XuanKong  玄空 5 elements.

In this case, Dragon Bi 賁 matching Facing Sheng 升 – 1-6 HeTu combo DaGua element or combo-10 period luck, Mountain WuWang 無妄 matching Water Kun 困 4-6 combo-10 DaGua element or 8-8 same period luck. Shouldn’t it be prosperous? How come it does not work that way?

Some may say that because these hexagram comes from different families, therefore they are not able to communicate? In the market driven teaching, the idea of Out-of-Gua (OOG) 出卦 has many interpretations. One approach is to employ JinFang BaGong Gua 京房八宮卦 as the point of departure. In this approach, Bi 賁, WuWang 無妄, Sheng升 and Kun 困 are all from different families. Dragon Bi 賁 matching Facing Sheng 升, has the incompatible Out-of-Gua (OOG) 出卦 of Gen, Li and Kun. Whereas Mountain WuWang 無妄 matching Water Kun 困, has the incompatible Out-of-Gua (OOG) 出卦 of Kan, Dui and Qian. So technically they are not able to communicate. Such cannot be the case.

SANYUAN FLYING STAR APPROACH 三元飛星

This school advocated that one has to first arrange the 8 Gua. This is achieve by having a set of natal chart that correspond to the incoming dragon Qi and outgoing water. Having said so, you will derive the mountain and facing stars based on the natal chart. If the mountain or the facing star correspond to the period star in the manner of combination of HeTu, 10, 15, 5 or the same, it means to say there is Qi connection to achieve  YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清.

Based on this case, the element number of sitting Gua should match sitting star and facing Gua should match facing star as in the same manner of combination of HeTu, 10, 15, 5 or the same. Unfortunately, the facing Gua cannot be established because the facing star do not have any active connection with the period Qi. That explain as to why this property is not favorable in terms of monetary gain… However, there are other possible means that is beyond the scope of this paper.

IN CONLCUSION

Foremost, the saying that landform do not lie and formula do not necessary tells the truth 峦头无假,理气无真 has its merits. When we said landform do not lie it simply means to say, landform is recognizable and shall be the first thing to be considered. Formula do not necessary tells the truth simply means to say, the true application of formulas are seldom readily available and it has to be employed correctly with the landform. The above case demonstrated that it fails on both counts of landform and formulas. Even with formulas, the XKDG 玄空大卦 that is known in the masses may not necessary be the real applications. It fails in many counts. Similarly so with the commonly known Shen’s Flying Star 沈氏玄空飛星 techniques. What we learn from books and knowledge out there are a small fragment of the corpus of knowledge, sad to say often biased towards false techniques.

Landform do not lie and formula do not necessary tells the truth 峦头无假, 理气无真 is only the first limb. What comes after is that both SanHe and SanYuan have their very own unique method for LuanTou 巒頭 and LiQi 理氣. Landform within cannot devoid of Formula, Formula within cannot devoid of Landform 巒頭中不離理氣, 理氣中不離巒頭. The question remains as to why would the LoShu period star takes flight based on the direction of the incoming dragon and not any arbitrary Qian palace and why would you want to build up the facing and mountain stars based on the Period star instead?

DISCLAIMER NOTES

In this series we are exploring Yang abode (modify to be a Yin abode instead) of Tycoons in Bolehland. We will not mention who they are by names but roughly you are able to guess the rest. Many of the photos had been blurred on purpose even with the locations of these lavish mansions befitting the Emperors, will not be shown for reason of privacy and safety. These articles only reflect on some studies we had made, just liked with Yin FengShui. We knew who are his FengShui masters but we shall not disclose here. This article is written with a heavy intonation of the application of FengShui as an art and not the person or the Yang abode itself. It does not in any way whatsoever reflect the FengShui analysis of the place in totality but a mere fragments sufficient enough to spur provocative discourse among the learned practitioners and connoisseurs as well. If you find this writing disturbing, please refrain from reading. The blogger reserve the rights to change any parts of this writing accordingly, if there is any factual error, as and may be required, from time to time.

Continue from Tycoon Li’s FengShui story, we are proud to also tell a tale of his Yin FengShui story… As you can see, designing an ancestral shrine is also part of our forte. We designed his ancestral shrine based on a set of FengShui criteria sets by his FengShui master that we shall not disclose. We did the architectural part of it notwithstanding the fact that our fee was not paid in full, just liked how it was claimed that Donald Trump did not pay his Architect as well. The good thing is as what people say, since this ancestral shrine is occupied by his entire clan, his ancestral now, owe us big time… A debt that his entire ancestral needs to pay! That we will leave it to the karmic debt collectors to do their work…

ANCESTRAL SHRINE 祠堂

The Wikipedia define an ancestral shrine, hall or temple 祠堂, also called lineage temple, is a Chinese temple dedicated to deified ancestors and progenitors of surname lineages or families in the Chinese traditional religion. Ancestral temples are closely linked to Confucian culture and the emphasis that it places on filial piety. A common central feature of the ancestral temples are the ancestral tablets that embody the ancestral spirits. The ancestral tablets are typically arranged by seniority of the ancestors. Altars and other ritual objects such as incense burners are also common fixtures. Ancestors and gods can also be represented by statues. The temples are used for collective rituals and festivals in honor of the ancestors but also for other family- and community-related functions such as weddings and funerals. Sometimes, they serve wider community functions such as meetings and local elections.

Unlike the traditional type that you may find in China, as those that was designed and FengShui(ed) by Yang YunSong in GanZhou, this one is a rather modern interpretation. Gone are the intricate ornaments in lieu of just post and beam concrete and mortar construction. However, the spatial planning still remain as a Si HeYuan 四合院 configuration very similar to Tycoon Li’s house. It has only a single courtyard not conforming to the technique of Three Gods Water Method 三神水法. This is an up most important consideration dealing with the FengShui design of the internal water courses within the ancestral shrine. It is almost similar to how the water management within the internal burial chamber. If you Google Three Gods Water Method 三神水法, you will come to term with many interpretations…

In this Bolehland case, the Ancestral Temple was built in a pretext of an up sized Mansion within the housing neighborhood. So, planning and building permit is very difficult to get if it was done so as an Ancestral Temple per se. This is called, Creative Advocacy.

THREE GODS WATER METHOD 三神水法

According to one HongKong practitioner Master Jiang JingChuan 江靜川, through his travelogue to SanLiau 三僚 investigating Guan Clan Ancestral Shrine 管氏宗祠, he has demonstrated with impeccable Cantonese explanation, the application of a technique called Three Gods Water Method 三神水法 (3GWM). The 3 Gods referred to as Big God 大神, Middle God 中神 and Small God 小神. These God terminology referred to the point of water exiting. Therefore you have the term – Small God exiting Middle God 小神出中神 then Middle God exiting Big God 中神出大神. These 2 terms are basically referring to the correlation of water flow between the inner court 内堂 to the outer court 外堂. In the common Si HeYuan 四合院 configuration, the two inner court 内堂 and the outer court 外堂 punctuated the interior spaces into three approaches that are called Jin 進. The ancestral tablets are usually located at the 3rd approaches. The common configuration shall be Small God exiting Middle God 小神出中神 then Middle God exiting Big God 中神出大神.

However, in this instances of Guan Clan Ancestral Shrine 管氏宗祠, because it was measured siting Xun 巽 facing Qian 乾, according to the Three Gods Water Method 三神水法 (3GWM), it states that it shall be Big God Facing 大神向. Therefore water shall be discharged from the Big God exiting Middle God 大神出中神, through the water release valve within the inner court 内堂 located at Ren 壬 (中神) connect to the outer court 外堂. From this outer court 外堂, water shall be discharged from the Middle God exiting Small God 中神出小神 and the water release valve within the outer court 外堂 located at Shen 申 (小神). From Shen 申 water shall be discharged through the Main Door location at Qian 乾, connecting to the external land form. This is termed Water from the 4 directions returned to its source 四水回归. As to why these Qian 乾 (大神) Ren 壬 (中神) 申 (小神) are interconnected, it shall be for us to know and you to find out.

The late Li DingXin, the grandmaster of YangGong GuFa FengShui has this to say…
Draining and prevention of water method is from the Xue burial 4 sides to build small scupper ditch. Connect this ditch to the outer discharge. Use this method as prescribed in the Three Gods Water Method 三神水法 to purge water. The ditch must be filled up with sands. To prevent from the 5 types of harms from penetration. This kind of water arrangement doesn’t seems to be found in YangGong’s method. However, its benefits has aplenty. To prevent from the 5 types of harms from penetration mainly to enhance ShengQi of the tomb through its refined adjustment.

THE LANDFORM

This ancestral shrine is located at a good landform embraced from all sides facing a table mountain. Water exiting throughout Si 巳, Wu 午 and Wei 未.   Landform wise is above average. However, a turn of event happened that Tycoon Li and his FengShui master were in sour term due largely to unpaid FengShui fees that he owed the FengShui master. Not only did he owed his architect, he also owed his FengShui master, big time. As a result, he is of the opinion that since his house has been FengShui(ed) it is only logical to set up the same structure as his house! Meaning you don’t have to pay twice for the same FengShui formation. What a brilliant idea! As a result this ancestral shrine sits fire structure. Exactly the same brief given to his architect to design this very ancestral shrine. How the FengShui of this shrine is everyone guesses… You let us know.

IN CONCLUSION

Not every Tycoon conduct their business fairly and generously. Notwithstanding their shrewd natures, would you want to be the FengShui master for the Tycoon just to earn some quick bucks? Why not? Just give him some shitty stuff and you are laughing your way to the banks.

I read somewhere that you have no right to muddle in someone else karma or else you will suffer the consequences. FengShui masters are not exclusive to this cardinal rule. This sorts of warnings has been lambasted by many people who feels that they know the working mechanism of karma better than others. Some go to profess some kind of method called – the equilibrium exchange that simply means you sin and you neutralize your sin by doing something noble. Very interesting to find all kinds of people in this industry…  Speaking about karmic retribution, especially for the FengShui master, why do you see most of the famous one ended up doing spiritual healing instead, with many ended up to adorn the monk’s robe or rather pretend to be adorning the monk’s robe?

Years ago, we did highlight that there are the following outcomes for FengShui practitioners. What are these outcomes?

  1. Your client benefits from your advice yet you suffer the bad consequences of giving such advice. That means to say, your skill is good, but your ethic of discharging your services are questionable…
  2. Your client suffered from your advice yet you suffer the bad consequences of giving such advice. That means to say, your skill is rotten to the core and your ethic of discharging your services are not only questionable, but is as rotten as your skill. These are Conmasters…
  3. Your client suffered from your advice but you benefited out of the consequences of giving such advice. That means to say, your skill may be questionable but your ethic of discharging your services is commendable. This is in line with the Heaven’s will. Some will say that, your bad karma has yet to be ripen… just liked our beloved Bolehland MO- Numero Uno…
  4. Your client benefits from your advice and you benefited out of the consequences of giving such advice. That means to say, your skill is highly powerful and your ethic of discharging your services is excellent. You have mastered the art of equilibrium exchange to the highest degree!

Of which category do you falls into? No worry, you only need to answer sincerely to yourself. Not us… and stop pretending one knows the inner working of karma. For details check this term called Acinteyya - Acintita Sutta, Anguttara Nikaya 4.77.

If you find this writing disturbing, please refrain from reading. The blogger reserve the rights to change any parts of this writing accordingly, if there is any factual error, as and may be required, from time to time.

HongKong FeiXing Master Li Kui-Ming (李居明) needs very little introduction. He hits some sense in most of our FengShui discourse especially so to the layman. One statement that he made was that – do you know why most of the poor remains poor and the rich remains rich? If you ask the poor to shift out from their current home due to bad FengShui, they most likely not able to do it. Therefore they are poor. But, when you ask the rich to move out of the current house for a better FengShui house somewhere, they would do it without giving a second thought! Therefore, they are rich! So, really don’t even think of doing FengShui or even engaging FengShui master for an advice, if you are poor. Don’t even think of spending your hard earned money in courses liked – Millionaire mind through FengShui or Getting rich with FengShui if you are poor! It simply cannot make magic for the poor… but for the rich and about to be wealthy, yes indeed – Good FengShui complements you because you will make the changes for the sake of getting richer… well, not necessary greedier. That include the magic techniques of ShengJi and the other bullshit stuffs.

Master Li has also a secret to share that, if you desperately needs to know what a good FengShui for the rich, go and live with the rich people… Their luck cannot be that bad after all and even how bad their FengShui could turn out to be, they can never be worse off than those poor people living in poor and low cost neighborhood. By the same token, even if you need to pay hefty rent to stay in a “dog house” within the rich neighborhood, do so and that is his secret of getting rich and famous, as can be witnessed today. Better, don’t even think of becoming a FengShui master if you cannot afford to live lavishly, as your lifestyles portray your competency of your skills. This is the epitome of what they called, charity begins at home… prosper thyself before others. Because of this paradigm that sounds so true, some Bolehland Conmasters take the opportunity to bring students to measure old graves, especially old rich man’s graves including their homes, believing it is Great FengShui!

Well, Master Li is not alone in such thinking. In some time ago when YCH is still kicking, the junior FengShui celebrity also did that with a company of his good buddies. See, what they are today, with the exception of a few that couldn’t made it up to the bar! Super rich with abundant opportunities to “advice” property developers… Imagine, how poor could their clientele be? With rich client instead of the poor, they always have good track records to showcase that their FengShui works! That is because, If you ask the poor to shift out from their current home, they most likely not able to do it. Therefore they are poor. But, when you ask the rich to move out of the current house for a better FengShui house somewhere, they would do it without giving a second thought! Therefore, they are rich! Therefore, it is really an idiot to think that Yang YunSong is also known as the savior of the poor. This is blasphemy! He should be known as the savior of the rich! By the way, the junior FengShui celebrity proud and arrogantly reflect such of his masters that they are a bunch of theorists who can quote anything offhand but when come to use FengShui to prosper themselves, see they still live like wage earners… Assuming this logic is correct, let’s look at a case in Bolehland…

TYCOON LI’S FENGSHUI STORY

(First published in Yifengshui 20092012)

Tycoon Li has an illustrated lifestyle. He does not need any of the royal decorum such as Dato, Tansri, Tun and so forth. He employs people with such decorum to run his work. He has not even an O-level education. His life is liked a modern day emperor which will put any of the “cow-gate” minister into envy. Strangely, he is also a strong believer of FengShui. He spent a fortune to engage a master from the mainland. Besides traveling in first class, Tycoon Li displayed his baroque connections with mayors and other politically connected good friends, to have their pictures taken while the master's stay in Bolehland.

[Postscript: Tycoon Li is known of the following characteristics. He owns 2 public listed companies and counting. He was declared a bankrupt but a very hardworking chap. He loves sports and luxury cars, by same token, he has many mistresses to his collection. He has about 21 children, many of them are grownups professionals and still counting... He shuns limelight and only work behind the veil. He is quite a notorious businessman of all trades and he preferred the term, shrewd businessman instead.]

Of all his advises, one became prominent. He said, Tycoon Li would only be prosperous if his empire is managed by people with surname Li. As a result, he uses his family to run his business. But Tycoon, liked him, needs proxies to do his camouflage in Bolehland. True blood to the idea of One Bolehland, he has Indian lawyers and Malay administrators to run his business, but none of them are Li. This is a problem. One good friend of his suggested to him, well that is not the problem at all. All is needed is to use their Chinese Name instead. So, the next morning, we see Dato MangGa Li Singh and Dato Li-zal Abihla clocking-in.

The moral of the story is name selections beside BaZi, plays a significant role in one’s destiny. Why not change your name and see how true it is? Besides that let’s also look at his background…

THE WEALTHY CHINAMAN’S HOUSE

(First published in Yifengshui 18042010)

Lately was invited to audit a typical wealthy China man's House. It was designed with the SanFen SanHe 三分三合 principles in mind and a SiHeYuan house 四合院 typology [for detail read davidyek.com/critics/traditional-chinese-architecture-modular-house. It has an internal court opens up to the sky. Where would the centre of the house be? The internal courts will open up to another 3 sided entrances with three different doors. How would a Flying Star chart be? The more challenging piece is the water flow which are so diverse and subtle. So, is the location of the water via its aquarium in relation to the house proper?

The external pose some physically challenging Sha with the green dragon holdings sword 青龍論劍, as above the telecommunication structure with water falls features at the bottom, located at GenYin double mountain. House sitting Fire Structure with incoming at Yin and water exiting at Wu. That is significantly enough to tell the story as to why this wealthy China man has unresolved issues, the moment he shifted to this very new house, inclusive of the demised of his beloved mother whom was a healthy woman at the age of 80+ prior of moving into this mansion, in the month of Xu, year of Zi.

On a XuanKong level, although it is still considered a new house, there are apparently structural cracks at the skylights directly at the main door at the Qian sector. What does it means? If divination is done at the month of Chen, what does it portends? We will reserve more for the Private Blog, meanwhile as pointer, all of the sudden, we were told that XuanKong FlyingStar, of which the method expounded by Shen JuReng is a flawed methodology based on the following conclusions: -

  1. Master Sheng JuReng pedigree is questionable as he is not from an authentic XuanKong Lineage.
  2. It is only based on Master Sheng's own interpretations.
  3. Sheng's method only based on the sitting and facing, thus 2 dimensional.
  4. In order for such to work, it must conforms to the land form.
  5. Sheng's hypothesis only works within the 4 structures.

Even with these above hypothesis, it is cumbersome to even superimpose the FlyingStar chart into the house plan of a huge mansion with multiple rooms and doors. Thus, it is a shame to learn that in the West, such methodology is still taught as a valid FengShui methodology as one dilemma is when we apply FlyingStar as an application, we forgot that, as with all valid system of FengShui, it has a body as principle to start with, but where is the body for FlyingStar?

[Postscript: Coincidentally, Tycoon Li’s mansion was designed to fulfil the SiHeYuan house 四合院 typology. In contrast of popular believe a SiHeYuan house 四合院 typology may not necessary means good FengShui… and we have another case as in Bolehland, read davidyek.com/yifengshui/-the-death-and-emptiness-of-zhang-bishis-mansion]

CONCLUSION

  1. According to HongKong FeiXing Master Li Kui-Ming (李居明), If you ask the poor to shift out from their current home due to bad FengShui, they most likely not able to do it. Therefore they are poor. But, when you ask the rich to move out of the current house for a better FengShui house somewhere, they would do it without giving a second thought! Therefore, they are rich! So, really don’t even think of doing FengShui or even engaging FengShui master for an advice, if you are poor.
  2. According to HongKong FeiXing Master Li Kui-Ming (李居明), if you desperately needs to know what a good FengShui for the rich, go and live with the rich people…
  3. Based on these hypotheses, let’s look at this Tycoon Li’s house FengShui: -
    1. It was designed with the SanFen SanHe 三分三合 principles in mind and a SiHeYuan house 四合院 typology. Caveat, SiHeYuan house 四合院 typology may not necessary means good FengShui…
    2. House sitting Fire Structure with incoming at Yin and water exiting at Wu. Is this a favourable FengShui formation?
    3. Green dragon holdings sword, at GenYin double mountain – who will be harmed and when?
  4. Based on this case study, we also understand the limitation of Shen’s WuChang Pai Flying Star system, as a huge mansion has many doors and many rooms. How to squeeze in the 9 grid? One question remain – when we apply FlyingStar as an application, we forgot that, as with all valid system of FengShui, it has a body as principle to start with, but where is the body for FlyingStar?
  5. The answer is within these Purple White Scrip 紫白賦 verses: -
局為體、
山為用。
山為體、
運為用。
體用一元、
天地動靜。
Structure becomes Body
Sitting becomes application.
Sitting becomes Body,
Period becomes application.
Body application becomes one,
complies to universal notion of motion and stillness.
6.  Unfortunately, this master from China that Tycoon Li has engaged is a Shen's WuChang Pai Flying Star practitioner.

FENGSHUI CANOPY 天篷

A FengShui canopy In Sydney, the Star City Casino has made headlines when the project commenced with designing and relocating the new glazed facade ‘front door’, the entrance of the Casino reoriented to face the harbour as well as the construction of a 48 metre glass façade. This was followed by work on enhanced gaming areas, refurbishment and extension of the retail arcade and a new five-star hotel -The Darling. The 12 level, 171 room The Darling, the first five Star hotel to be built in Sydney in the past 10 years.

In Sydney, the Star City Casino has added a "FengShui canopy" as part of a $760 million redevelopment. In another article, it states that “Justin Brooks says the project's engineers and designers, Yuanda, employed a FengShui expert to sign off on the canopy before it was built at TripleNine’s purpose-hired workshop”. It costs, $1.4 million and a tagline – “While the elements of FengShui can’t be guaranteed to produce financial fortune in The Star’s casinos, the stainless steel canopy is certain to maintain its appeal for decades to come.”, as quoted by Australian Stainless, issue 52.

Guess who is the FengShui expert? In howardchoy.wordpress.com it states that "Harbour-side facade of the new Star Hotel and Casino in Sydney Australia, open in September 2011. We (ar-qi-tektur Berlin) worked as the FengShui consultants for this project". Congratulation Howard…

How is the Star Casino been doing lately? It was reported that, “VIP Asian gamblers playing their favoured game of baccarat and placing bets of up to $500,000 a hand, beat the house in the first half of 2016, stripping The Star of nearly $80 million in profits. Chief executive Matt Bekier said it was simply bad luck for the casino operator and he was confident the house would get back to winning ways.”, quoted smh.com.au. Wealth leakages? How can that be with the FengShui canopy? Simply mind boggling after spending $1.4 million with a FengShui expert to sign off…

WEALTH LEAKING SHA FORMATION 漏財煞

The building is tapping into a Yang formation – simply a Big Mistake. The newly minted glass façade in nine stars formation of water star, representing wealth simply do not means anything. With a huge lobby and the escalators that simply escalates the draining of wealth into the bay. That is the most significant Qi leakages you can find. It is a simple landform 101 theory, nothing complicated. Just don’t quite understand how a FengShui expert would sign off such as his masterpiece? Simply mind boggling after spending $1.4 million with a FengShui expert to sign off… By the way, can anyone explain how the FengShui canopy helps to contain Qi in this instances would? Any “Hua Jie” 化解, “lioajie” 了解, “fenjie” 分解 or correlative thinking apply to such?

WITHOUT THE BLACK TURTLE - 29022012

Knew of a Mall in KL which used to suffer from low traffic. The owner flew in a master from HongKong with the fee of USD100,000. Yes, not only Taiwanese master can do the trick. All that he has suggested was to locate a retail unit in front of the main entrance facing the huge car park. The rest was history. The anchor tenant changes hand with a big name. Traffic increased by many folds. New extension was required for the new wing as the current threshold is maximized. What a miracle! A closer investigation revealed that the YinYang is in order. The spirits have arrived at the correct location. Speaking in terms of DaGua, it is said to be YiGua ChunChing 一卦純清, minus the door tilting and fighting SanSha, definitely. Want to know more? Postscript: Where is the Green Dragon, White Tiger and more importantly, Black Turtle? Is it a fallacy that all building must have a solid mountain as its back to fulfil the 4 guardians paying attention principles? Think about it...

THIS MALL FAILS BIG TIME, WHY? - 22012014

Award winning architecture. Big time FengShui failure. Why?
Observations: -
1. Cutting Feet
2. Wrong Entrance
3. Pulling Nose
Need XKDG or YangGong Fa to verify? No need la.....

TROPIKA MENIFESTO - 22052012

This is a Mall straddle between the NKVE highways, designed to be a stop over whenever commuters are stuck in the peak hour traffic jam. Good in theory but since its inception, it suffers from lack of human traffic just like the other case of Re-Publika.  Undergone some makeover especially on the main entrance. Nothing extraordinary, besides crafting of the entrance, a row of water features were added and believed it, it gets better by the day, although Qi distributions on the internal still far from ideal compared to the suburb Mall, we talked about previously. Yes blame it to the strong ShaQi emitting from the highways. Imagine, the entire fate of the mall depends on the main door but in many cases, the corrective measures does not involve door tilting. Just a rectification of the immediate bright hall would do justice.

REFLECTIONS

Whoever master that come to tell you that there is such thing called LuanTou 巒頭 school and LiQi 理氣 school, they confirmed to know nuts about FengShui. Both SanHe and SanYuan have their very own unique method for LuanTou 巒頭 and LiQi 理氣. This very phrase is taken from the preface of Snow Heart Classic 《雪心赋》. A typical doctrine under the lineage of 蝨母仙. Think about it...

無常派反伏吟 - WUCHANG PAI REVERSE REPEATED SIRENS

10/4/2016

Picture
One FengShui connoisseur from Vietnam shared a murder case as his basis of XuanKong analysis based on the school of WuChang Pai 無常派. With unfortunate cases like this, it is highly unlikely to do a prediction based on whatever LoShu chart we have. The most we could only do a post-diction, see if it does correspond to the numbers in the LoShu chart, the WuChang 無常 way…

FAN FUYIN 反伏吟

According to the treatise of WuChang Pai 無常派, a sudden death event occurred in a family is highlighted via what is probably known as FuYin 伏吟 and FanYin 反吟 within the LoShu chart. Yin 吟 is siren, ought to have sounded in giving a life and death warning to the inhabitants.

FuYin can be understood as Repeated Siren, it is liken to someone repeating the same warning to you again and again in an annoying manner and it is considered to be greatly inauspicious. That happens when the mountain or facing star in the middle is the 5 Yellow. The numbers may repeat the flying pattern of the LuoShu numbers in any palace.

FanYin 反吟 is short for Fan FuYin 反伏吟 or Opposite to Repeated Siren. Some teacher takes this as auspicious because it is supposed to be the reverse of FuYin. However, it is truly inauspicious because in any palace the numbers (Mountain or Facing number with the Luoshu number) added up to 10 and this happens when the Mountain or Facing star in the middle is the 5 Yellow. Beyond a superficial level, you will also see that it don’t make sense at all, as a combination of 10 should always be beneficial, but why not for this instances? What is the catch? The caveat is in this term - Fan FuYin 反伏吟 whereby when a FuYin occurred, it may also come together with its reversal, thus its double whammy. It doesn’t really make sense in terms of the stars but it truly make sense in terms of DaGua.

FuYin 伏吟 and FanYin 反吟 usually denotes deathly events and if the structure is not timely or broken and does in any manner conform to the natal chart, its malignant effects are great. In many books on this subject, the most fear after FuYin 伏吟 and FanYin 反吟 is the facing, because the Qi mouth of a house is usually located at the facing. However, as the saying goes, water governs wealth, mountain governs health, it cannot deny that an occurrence of FuYin 伏吟 or FanYin 反吟 at the sitting instead of facing, gives the more detrimental effects to the inhabitants in terms of health matter.

FAN FUYIN APPLICATION

  1. The theory is rooted on the fact that when a star is repeated at the same palace liked the case of a double sitting and double facing, a potential issue will arise when such a star is malignant and out of timeliness.
  2. Such can occur on the sitting or the facing through the LoShu natal chart and this is termed, arranging the dragon 排龍.
  3. Next, we need to determine is it a real FuYin or a real FanYin.
  4. To check the violation of FanFu Yin, one need to understand the 64 hexagram ring called the DaGua ring, which is also called the Leaning Star AiXing 挨星 ring.
  5. The Facing Star will be the upper trigram and the Sitting Star will be the lower trigram making the DaGua or Leaning Star AiXing 挨星.
  6. When a star is found repeated at a palace, the upper Trigram and the Lower Trigram are the same.
  7. So, there are only 8 possible combinations. Called the original DaGua or Leaning Star AiXing 挨星.
  8. From the original DaGua, check the inverted Gua by inverting the entire upper and lower trigram. This is called FanYin. A new set of DaGua will be generated and it is called the FanYin DaGua
  9. From the original DaGua, check the inverted Yao of the every 9 Yao of the said DaGua by inverting all the Yao (lines) from bottom up. This is called FuYin. A new set of DaGua will be generated and it is called the FuYin DaGua.
  10. Re-measure again from the LuoPan on the facing or the sitting to determine will the FanYin DaGua or FuYin DaGua be found within the Later Heaven BaGua sector constituting the original DaGua.
  11. Whichever it is found, then the FuYin or FanYin is real and may occur.

THE LITMUS TEST - CASE FACT

A murder case, happened in North Vietnam at early morning 24th September 2016. The house was built and moved-in in 2015. The house measured sitting Yin facing Shen - 243 degrees.
Upon moving in: -

  1. The eldest son was killed in an accident in same year 2015.
  2. At an early morning 24 September 2016, the grandmother and 3 grandchildren were murdered by an unknown killer.

LANDFORM

Googlemaps revealed that the location is far from superior as it is located within the basin known in geography as the island of the ox-bow. Landform liked this has very little Qi, thus a broken structure. Its location having rivers at both sides, with the rear river closest indicating the front may have been higher with the back low. In XuanKong 4 structures this is known as backward riding the dragon or up the mountain down the water structure, where the sitting star may not be that strong after all.

PAILONG AIXING 排龍挨星

The house was built and moved-in period 8. A period 8 chart with sitting Yin and facing Shen is constructed. The facing palace comprises of the period star 5, facing star 2# and sitting star 8#. 2#-8# combination 10 at facing. Wouldn’t such be great? Unfortunately, this natal chart of the house also called, arranging the dragon 排龍 of the house has nothing to reveal as it has no FuYin. Better still, sitting star 8# that is timely meeting facing star 2# that is untimely will violate the entire benevolent of the timely star? Mind boggling… Perhaps, the sitting timely star 8# arriving at the facing violate the cardinal rule that the “mountain dragon god shall not go down the river, 山上龍神不下水,水里龍神不上山, 青囊序,Mountain on top Dragon God don’t come down to water, Water within Dragon God don’t go up the mountain, (QingNan Xu). Therefore, the timely 8# sitting star has been violated and rendered useless…

When we plot in the annual 2016 star - #2 arriving at the centre, appear before us is a FuYin 伏吟 chart. The annual star and sitting star are in FuYin 伏吟 formation for all the 9 palaces. We shall check if indeed it is a FuYin 伏吟 formation at the facing.

There is a second test to see if indeed it is a real FanYin 反吟. This is through AiXing 挨星. Facing has 8#-8# Gen WeiShan 艮为山 Gua.  Based on Gen WeiShan 艮为山 Gua, we have Dui WeiZe Gua 兑为泽 Gua as its FanYin Gua and Zhen WeiLei Gua  震为雷 as its FuYin Gua. Given house measured sitting Yin facing Shen - 243 degrees, none of the AiXing 挨星 falls within the FanYin nor FuYin. Yet, there are people killed! The above said description failed the litmus test… miserably.

ONE ROOM ONE TAIJI 一物一太極

Perhaps, we may look at the individual room itself before we come to any conclusion…
  1. The kitchen – 3 casualties.
  2. The Masterbed room – 1 casualty.
If we were to assign the natal chart into the house according to what is perceived to be the right  WuChang Pai 無常派 approach, we ends up having the followings: -
  1. The kitchen - period star 4, facing star 1# and sitting star 7#. 7#, untimely therefore bloodshed and #1 surpassingly the future prosperous star has no effect to nullified the 7#. Honestly, I don’t buy this postulation. FuYin 7#-7#, sitting with the annual star. Dui Gua – FanYin Gen Gua, FuYin Xun Gua. As Xun AiXing Gua falls within the Kun palaces comprising the Shen facing mountain, it foretell a real FuYin.
  2. The Masterbed room - period star 1, facing star 7# and sitting star 4#. 7#, untimely therefore bloodshed and #4 also untimely… Honestly, I don’t buy this postulation also. FuYin 4#-4#, sitting with the annual star. Xun Gua – FanYin Zhen Gua, FuYin Dui Gua. As Dui AiXing Gua falls within the Gen palaces comprising the Yin sitting mountain, it foretell a real FuYin.
From this one room, one TaiJi perspective, it conforms to real FuYin and the post-diction results are casualties happened to both the Kitchen and the Masterbed room. It consistently fulfilled the litmus test. Yet, one question remain - is this really coincidence or otherwise?

ON THE OTHER HAND

The house measured sitting Yin facing Shen - 243 degrees are very close to a small DE under the 72D rings based on YangGong methodology. It already foretell issues related to bloodshed. A good theory, must consistently without failed proved to show result even by the method of reverse engineering. In this instances, it has showcased that FanFu Yin can only be applied to one room, one TaiJi applications. Beyond that it seems that the theory faulted in many areas. This is only one attempt based on a popular known so called WuChang Pai 無常派 applications. How about the rest of the XuanKong derivatives such as MiaoPai 妙派 and so forth?

奇门安康问题 - QIMEN HEALTH ISSUE POSTDICTION

7/25/2016

Picture
There was an interesting case study in QiMen discussed in some famous Academy in town. One student discloses how a QiMen chart is interpreted according to the Academy approach. It is a very interesting way akin to many HK masters' approach to QiMen. A rather mixture of LiuRen with QiMen. Since it is a voluntarily disclosure of a so called, secret techniques that may have caused USD40,000 to learn in the academy. I have taken the liberty to share in this blog, my perspective.

POST-DICTION VS PRE-DICTION

This is an attempt to use a real case and to match back to a supposingly  QiMen chart in order to explain in detail the flow of events that had occurred. In such case, it is a Postdiction not prediction/forecasting. A QiMen chart is capable to be a tesseract mirror of a 4th dimensional space time continuum. We hope to be able to learn from a Postdiction to be applied in a Prediction manner.

CASE FACT

Mr. S suffered urethral blockage due to stone with complications of water retention and post operations brain hemorrhage. 2 morbid critical surgeries were performed on him. His post surgical conditions weren't good with a high possibility of paralysis. Some what, after ICU he managed to pull himself with speedy recovery... Time and date of event given - 25th May 2016, approximately 6:30pm.

INTRA PALACE READING

Using the same date and time given, a Yang 7 - structure was derived. As the Postdiction was performed on 6:30pm, we shall take a peep on - 'What will becomes of Mr. S?'.

6:30pm straddled within the Shen 申 palace Kun 坤. If you seek to know the outcome of the operations, we look at the Heaven Plate. It is Ji 己 earth, simply means the outcome has obstacle. 己 practically denotes obstruction in a very refined manner nearing contamination. 己may also represents 地户 earth gate.

You may ask, can his ailment be resolved in non invasive procedure? However, the doctor had decided for an open surgery as reflected in Door of JingMen 景门. Practically means open up the part of the body to get a better view of has gone wrong inside. You should never choose this door for surgery.

For Mr. S case, the ripper is already standing-by as reflected by GouChen 陳. GouChen, in the Academy's term is also known as Gripping Hook, a Diety very much akin to 黑白無
常, Black and White Hell's Marshal or the western manifestation of The Ripper. The presence of this deity revealed the presence of the ancestors coming to invite you to the underworld.

Unfortunately his minion, the TianRen 天任 star is rather a good chap biased to the living then the death. As you can see, deities can only perform its role by having the right tools or minions to executes his instructions. TianRen is earth element arriving in Kun palace that is also earth, mutually prosperous. Seems like the ripper uses the wrong tool?

As these QiMen are on the external side, meaning they are inflicted by the levels of healthcare and facilities he received beyond his control.

INTER PALACE READING

Any forms of prediction, in this case postdictiction, begins with a Question that may be related to Health, Wealth, Career, Study and Relationship. These are the general approaches that determines the selection of the correct useful God 用神.

For health matter, we look for good outcome, Yi 乙 as the preferred choice and the star representing good doctor, Tian Xing 天心. If you ought to detect where the sickness is look for Tian Rui 天芮, the JuMen star, source of all sickness and poisons.

THE SICKNESS

In this method, you locate the stars and read its composition within the palace to derive an answer. First, TianRui in Gen 艮 palace sharing with XiuMen 休門, meaning his illness is dormant? Not really. It simply suggests that Mr. S couldn't be bother much with his illness, unless it is critical. Which part of the organ that the illness signify? TangLang 1 white water signify kidneys. What is the Ren 壬 heaven plate signify? Ren is known as flowing fluid meanders liked a snake. It could denotes bleeding or in this case haemorrhage. But what has it got to do with the brain? Jia 甲, the iconography of the brain is hidden in Bing 丙 and it is brought forth by Ren 壬, in this given Yang 7 QiMen Structure. Coincidence or simply magnificent? The DE or Void star at Chou 丑 also arrived at the Gen palace, that make Ren, Ji, TianRui and XiuMen lost an enormous amount of its efficacy but not in this case, largely due to the clashes of Chou 丑 and Wei 未 (day stem).

THE ROOT OF THE COMPLICATION

If the Sickness palace is Gen 艮 earth, what produces earth such as the Li 離 Fire palace shall be the roots of his sickness. In this palace, which is due to external influences has a LiuHe 六合 deity yielding the TianPeng 天蓬 star. A LiuHe deity is fond of getting things together be it good or bad. A TianPeng star are risks takers to the ultimate often associated with the vice, alcoholism and the band of bandits. Together, it means very likely the root of complications are alcoholism induced living habit. This habit is largely hidden or concealed to everyone's knowledge as indicated by DuMen 杜門, thus silently destroying the body, Xin 辛 stem appearing in the heaven stem as killing Qi, 殺氣.

THE CURE

TianXing 天心 the good doctor arrived at Xun 巽 palace. Not only that, you have Yi 乙 stem in the Heaven Plate denoting a noble outcome - you shall be healed. The entire Xun wood 木 palace, which is the Cure controls or clashes away the entire Gen earth 土 palace, which is the Sickness. High chances he shall survive the complication. There is this little ShangMen 傷門, and what does it portend? This is a little tricky as who harms who? As it is the internal sector, it means the patient is on the course of harming the doctor. It is a great challenge for the doctor to save him and the chances are very slim, almost a gamble between life and death.

THE PATIENT'S LIFE PALACE

The day stem of the date for postdiction is Ding 丁 stem, representing the person is found in Qian 乾 palace - his Life palace. The obvious thing you can find in this palace is the JingMen 驚門, representing fear. External sector meaning everyone around him is in fear of him loosing his life. For immediate effects, he would call upon the deity to his assistant. His benefactor shall be someone short, plump and most likely dark skinned - the Nine Earth 九地. Nine Earth almost synonymous to the Earth Deity also represent someone who owns land, a boss or an employer. This deity will dispose his minions, the TianFu 天輔 to assist him in whatever he needed. This is the best and noblest tool a deity could lend his hand on, meaning he can really get the things done.

THE MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH

SiMen 死門 is located in Dui 兌 palace, due to external influences, meaning the conditions are not very favorable to this person escalating his morbidity. ShengMen 生門 is at the opposite, Zhen 震 palace, the source of his lifeline, ShengQi 生氣. These are always the opposite sector. Arguing that because there is a DE or a Void at Zhen palace nullified the clash may sounds logical, as in emptiness there is nothing worth to be clashed in or clashed out. At best, we knew that all the constituents within the palace encountering DE or Void has lost its efficacy with the exception of the Deity.

But Life and Death does not fall in the hand of Man... That is a subject of discourse for other time.

CONCLUSION

This postdiction illustration demonstrated how a QiMen chart is read through all the palaces, not just one. It also demonstrated how an inter and intra palaces are read to get into the details of multiples inquiries. Structures, internal external sectors, DE and others are integral to construct the entire reality where auspicious and inauspicious are defined. Inter palaces countering and producing, deities and their minions with the immediate outcomes of the stems are all tell tales for you to read a QiMen chart with its appropriate identification of the useful God. At a superficial level, it is a complete reading of a QiMen chart in retrospect to postdiction. Hopefully by applying the same modus operandi, one is able to use it with success in many predictions with QiMen to come. At anytime, such knowledge may cost at least USD 10,000 to learn and thanks to many good souls of the academy, it has been revealed partially. In comparisons to other academies, many may just dropped short at the hour pillar prediction, here it is revealed that the day pillar prediction is equally important. One question remains, do you read QiMen overlapping with LiuRen?
