冬大如年 - THE WINTER IS LARGER THAN THE YEAR

WINTER SOLSTICE 冬至

There was a saying that the Winter Solstice is “Larger” than the Year, 冬大如年. What does it means? Winter Solstice 冬至 is one of the twelve solar seasonal markers denoting the peak of winter. It is supposed to be the coldest time of winter where astronomically speaking, the earth is the furthest away from the sun, yet in contrary, the northern hemisphere is also the nearest facing the sun. Such dichotomy is reflective in the saying, in the absolute Yin 太陰 the young Yang 少陽 is born. This is a time of the year when YinYang 陰陽 threshold is blurred. It is a transition time or we called, the “crossover” that usually take place in 21 Dec or 22 Dec each year. Such YinYang threshold 陰陽界 is important for most of the Chinese Metaphysical sciences like FengShui and so forth. When someone is strong enough to withstand such time of extreme cold and turbulent Qi, this someone is said to be able to survive for another year. Therefore for each passing of the winter solstice, a year was added to the age. This is known as the Winter Solstice is “Larger” than the Year, 冬大如年.

BEGINNING OF SPRING 立春

The beginning of spring 立春 is another solar seasonal markers denoting the arrival of spring usually take place between 4 Feb – 5 Feb each year. It is a time where a new chapter of the year begins. It is technically a new year. However, this again is not really a time where it is the “hottest” or “wettest” of the year, yet it is taken as a “birthday” of the year. Most of the FengShui masters in town will take this LiChun BaZi as the natal chart to predict the auspicious and calamity of the coming year, where they will probably say, the new TaiSui 太歲, SanSha Three Killings三殺 have arrived and certain location cannot have ground breaking. Saying that, some forgot about the 5 yellow actually already kicked in since DongZhi Winter Solstice 冬至 not LiChun beginning of spring 立春. With all the confusions of FengShui techniques liked XuanKong and QiMen 玄空奇門, which solar markers denote the transitions of YinYang, subject to many debates.

SOLAR TERMS 節氣

Winter solstice 冬至 and beginning of spring 立春 are but two of the 24 solar terms or JieQi 節氣. What makes these two different and not made known is the differences between ZhongQi 中氣 and JieQi 節氣. ZhongQi 中氣 are the time periods or some called the eight periods 八運 that demarcate the intangible Heaven Qi 天氣 while JieQi 節氣 are the location of the eight trigram 八卦 that governs the tangible Earth Qi 地氣. That is why winter solstice 冬至 is the coldest days of the year and not the arrival of winter 立冬 because solstices are ZhongQi 中氣. That is why, Wu 午 month and Wu 午 hour are always hot and Wu 午 year or a Wu 午 day may not necessary be hot. Saying that with the protruding of Bing 丙 doesn’t really mean the sun has arrived at the mountain 太陽到山 and therefore all evils subsided. These are all false and misleading teachings.

THE THREE FACTORS 三才

Not all Chinese metaphysics methodologies measure the same thing. The question we always asked is, which Heaven, example early, later or middle, do you measure? Which YinYang 陰陽 thresholds 界do you measure? Zi 子 and Wu 午?  Chou 丑 and Wei 未? Yin 寅 and Shen 申?  For example, we know that in QiMen 奇門, the YinYang Dun 陰陽遁 will change position upon entering the solstices 至. However do you use the same when you apply in FengShui using the SanHe Heavenly Star Methodology 三合天星法? You will be entirely wrong using the demarcation of Heaven Qi for a job require you to measure Earth Qi. That is the reason, without knowing how to apply the 3 factors of SanChai 三才 you will not able to construct a FengShui formation and any amount of “salt water” cure or placement FengShui water features would best be just trial and error plus a little bit of blind faiths. This is NOT FengShui.

三奇四吉 - THREE MYSTERIOUS FOUR AUSPICIOUS

This paper continues to examine the employment of QiMen 奇門 in the interpretation of the 60 Obscure Heaven Gua 渾天卦. The YangGong New Method School XinFa 新法 has given us a new perspective as to how pre-SanYuan theories had included QiMen 奇門 into the equation and making them as complicated as “Rocket Sciences” of their era. Apparently this tapestry makes the core knowledge of YangGong method into disarray and somehow lacked the simplicity and originality of the YangGong old method 古法派. It has given such an obscure aftertaste as though YangGong, himself is not able to consolidate the art and science of FengShui, but to adopt whole heartedly, the full bloom methods of his time - QiMen 奇門 into his formulation. While investigating this matter, the author strongly believed that such inclusions may have been done by others, not having the entire knowledge of the true genuine YangGong methods and trying their very best to make up for the lack of knowledge into a collective whole now called - The YangGong New Method School, XinFa 新法.

祿馬貴人 - SALARIED HORSE NOBLEMEN
六甲飛宫 - THE FLYING PALACES OF THE 6 KNIGHTS
三元三般卦 - ENCOUNTER OF THE 3RD KINDS OF GUA
三元龍虎門 - SANYUAN DRAGON TIGER DOOR
紅鸞水法 - HONGLUAN WATER METHOD
穿山透地 - PENETRATING TIGER AND RESURFACING DRAGON

We were made to aware of a Poem by Zhang JiuYi 张九仪, that summarized the entire knowledge of The YangGong New Method School, XinFa 新法. Next, we would be surprised by the fact that there are more than one way to arrange the JiaZi, called – HongLuan JiaZi 紅鸞甲子. Not only that, we also learnt where SanYuan people adopted the earliest known 60 Hexagrams into their DaGua Plate 大卦盤 through the now extinct LianShan 連山, GuiChang  歸藏, ZhouYi 周易 to come out with HunTian 渾天 Gua卦. It is also from here, that we learnt as to how the pre-SanYuan people adopted the SanBan Gua techniques 卦取三般. More importantly how these people analyse the SanBan Gua 三般卦 through the lenses of Obscure Heaven NaJia 渾天納甲. This, unfortunately is not simple, but the “rocket sciences” of the day that include QiMen 奇門 – as in the Three Mysterious 三奇 and the Four Auspicious 四吉.

THE THREE MYSTERIOUS AND FOUR AUSPICIOUS 三奇四吉

This term is not unusual for the field of QiMen 奇門 but is highly unusual in the field of YangGong FengShui. In QiMen 奇門 the Three Mysterious 三奇 is referring to Yi乙, Bing丙 and Ding丁. These 3 stems are the imperial families of Jia甲, the emperor. Yi乙 is the sister of Jia. Bing丙 is the Prince to Jia甲 and Ding丁 is the Princess to Jia甲. Collectively these 3 stems are the known as the Three Mysterious 三奇. When the Three Mysterious 三奇 are present, the outcome of the particular palace is known to be auspicious. Even in the face of a Killing Qi, its effect will be neutralized.

The Four Auspicious 四吉 is not unusual for the field of QiMen 奇門 as it refers to the 8 Doors. 4 of these doors are auspicious such as Rest休, Life生, Open開 and Harm傷. When the Four Auspicious 四吉 are present, the outcome of the particular palace for human factors are auspicious.

LOCATING THE THREE MYSTERIOUS 三奇

Picture
Based on the same chart called 6Jia Streams Establishing FuTou 六甲旬符頭, for every 6Jia Streams 六甲旬, there is a stem that Jia (the Emperor) would hide itself in. This is called DunJia 遁甲, Hiding the Jia甲. These Stems (being the Generals), where the Jia甲 would hide itself, is called XunShou 旬首. There are 6 XunShou 旬首.

ESTABLISHING THE EARTH PLATE 地盤

Take this Obscure Heaven 60D 渾天60龍 as an example… This 60D BingZi has given this Wind over Water, Kun 困 Hexagram - Trap. BingZi found itself within Great Snow 大雪 of the 24 JieQi 節氣, Middle Hou 中候, YinDun 陰遁 – reverse order, taking Ju7 七局 – where the following FuTou 符頭 is JiaXu stream starts from Dui the order of Wu戊, Ji己, Geng庚, Xin辛, Ren壬, Gui癸, Ding丁, Bing丙, Yi乙 in the reverse order. As a result, you will obtain the Earth Plate.

ESTABLISHING THE HEAVEN PLATE 天盤

From the Earth Plate, locate XunShou旬首 for JiaXu stream is Ji己 and it is located at Qian palace. Replace Wu戊 in Dui palace with XunShou旬首 - Ji己 and rotate accordingly. As a result, you will obtain Heaven Plate. The Three Mysterious 三奇 are located as the followings: -

  1. Yi乙 in Li Palace (9)
  2. Ding丁in Qian Palace (6)
  3. Bing丙 in Xun Palace (4)

LOCATING THE FOUR AUSPICIOUS 四吉

Before one can locate the Four Auspicious 四吉 Door, one has to locate the Lead Star that is also known as the Purple Star 紫星. In QiMen 奇門, it is known that the Star 星 gives power to the Door 門. The Purple Star 紫星 is located at XunShou旬首 - Ji己 Earth Plate Qian Palace (6). Replace the star #6, which is the Purple Star 紫星, into the Dui palace and rotate accordingly.

As the Purple Star 紫星 empowers the Door 門, the Open Door 開 now becomes the Lead Door also known as the Purple Door 紫門. Replace the Open Door 開 - Purple Door 紫門 into the Dui Palace and rotate accordingly… As a result, the Four Auspicious 四吉 Door are located as the followings: -

  1. Open Door 開 - Dui Palace (7)
  2. Rest Door 休 - Qian Palace (6)
  3. Life Door 生 - Li Palace (9)
  4. Harm Door 傷 - Gen Palace (8)

CONCLUSION

This is the FIRST TIME, QiMen FengShui has been disclosed in this manner. In the common  technique of QiMen for FengShui, especially so from the Money squeezing Academy of Chinese metaphysics (MsAocm), QiMen FengShui is mainly used for Remote Sensing, whereby a QiMen chart is open and a prediction is made based on the ingredients of the chart to say: -

  1. Where is the In-coming Qi
  2. Where is the Out-going Qi
  3. Where is the Killing Qi
  4. Where are the wealth, nobility, academic and so forth...

Further to that, SanYuan QiMen DunJia 三元奇門遁甲 may  extend its application to SanYuan YuanKong DaGua 三元元空大卦, forming the mouthful SanYuan XianTian YuanKong DaGua QiMen DunJia 三元先天元空大卦奇門遁甲, another subject offered for sale by the legendary Money squeezing Academy of Chinese metaphysics (MsAocm). It was also believed that this secret techniques mirrored the legendary grand-master Zeng ZiNan's 曾子南 XieZi Fa 些子法 (Details read HERE). In one of the Money squeezing Academy of Chinese metaphysics (MsAocm) master trainer's own words, he cannot reconcile the application of SanYuan YuanKong DaGua 三元元空大卦 until his late master Chen BeiSheng  陈倍生 disclosed to him the simultaneous application of SanYuan QiMen DunJia 三元奇門遁甲.

From this point onward, it is obvious that the pre-SanYuan XianTian YuanKong DaGua QiMen DunJia 三元先天元空大卦奇門遁甲 has its root from the HunTian Gua 渾天卦 application, where the 60 Obscure Heaven Gua 渾天 卦 are preset with the Static  QiMen Plate 奇門盤. 六甲飛宫 - THE FLYING PALACES OF THE 6 KNIGHTS

Picture
This paper continues to single out the analysis of the Obscure Heaven 60D as a continuous examination of the use of the 3 sets of Earth Penetrating Dragon, hereinafter called the equal division 60D. XinFa 新法 continues to surprise us with many pre-SanYuan theories that may not have been widely known before to the mainstreams. In this instances, we are able to see how the SanYuan proponent actually adopted the 3 kinds of Gua 三般卦 into its SanYuan DaGua methodology. They singularly distilled the Obscure Heaven 60D as the pre-cursor to the currently known SanYuan DaGua Heaven Plate. Even more surprising, SanYuan DaGua actually adopted the Yao Application Methodology 用爻法 as their analysis of the 5 relationships.

Continue from the following 4 articles: -

三元三般卦 - ENCOUNTER OF THE 3RD KINDS OF GUA
三元龍虎門 - SANYUAN DRAGON TIGER DOOR
紅鸞水法 - HONGLUAN WATER METHOD
穿山透地 - PENETRATING TIGER AND RESURFACING DRAGON

This article will continue to disclose the intimate secrets of the Yao Method 爻法 to eventually link SanYuan to GuSanShi 古三式, or the ancient Three Styles of DunJia 遁甲, TaiYi 太乙 and LiuRen 六壬. Collectively, these GuSanShi 古三式 are also called QiMen SanShi 奇門三式. The root of SanYuan vested in QiMen. The root of QiMen vested in the Calendric Systems. The Calendric Systems are the forerunner of how Qi spirals through the LoShu giving birth to the forerunner of SanYuan Flying Stars called – The Six Jia Flying Palaces 六甲飛宫. In ancient time, the term Flying Palaces 飛宫 means Flying Star.

6 JIA FLYING PALACES 六甲飛宫

The analysis of Obscure Heaven NaJia 渾天納甲, Yao Application Methodology 用爻法 is also sometimes called the 5 Relationship Analysis 五亲 to identify the locations of Child 子, Father 父, Wealth 財 and Officer 官. Unlike the normal 6Yao Divination techniques, the Self is not referred to as it is related to the deceased.

Take this Obscure Heaven 60D 渾天60龍 as an example…

This 60D BingZi has given this Wind over Water, Kun 困 Hexagram - Trap. By virtue of Obscure Heaven NaJia 渾天納甲, we obtained: -

Child 子 is in 4th Yao
Father 父 is in 2nd and 6th Yao
Wealth 財 is in 1st Yao
Officer 官 in 3rd Yao

All these 5 Relations 五亲 are presence in this example. This Hexagram conforms to bring tidings to Resources and Descendent Luck, Wealth and Officer Relationships. The question now is which are the sectors that will bring GOOD TIDINGS?

The 6 Yao Method 六爻法 is supposed to have its own way to insert the “directional factors” into the equation by adopting the 4 Heraldic Beasts Methodology 四象法. However this is not the case… Instead, it opted for QiMen 奇門… giving hint the possibility that the 6 Yao’s 6  Heraldic Beasts Method 六爻六象法 is a later modification or invention derived from QiMen 奇門.

SANYUAN QIMEN 三元奇門

QiMen 奇門, being one of the oldest art forms are the mother of SanYuan 三元.  The entire framework of SanYuan 三元 is built upon the foundation of QiMen 奇門 via a perpetual set of clockworks that closely knitted to the calendric system. To further understand such, you ought to know these fundamentals such as JieQi 節氣, Hou 候, Dun 遁 and Ju 局.

The 60D 60龍, having 6 of its pair receiving additional 2 Hou 候 will give a total of 72 Hou 候 of the 24 JieQi 節氣 or Seasonal Node. From these 24 seasonal nodes, the first half are Yang Dun 遁 and the second half are Yin Dun 遁. This YinYang threshold is a border that will cut through the winter 冬至 and the summer solstices 夏至. The Dun 遁 will decides how Qi would dance to the comic music… and as a results, a recognisable patterns that repeats and mirrors itself called Formation Ju 局 are created. These Formation Ju 局 are the indexes of which a QiMen 奇門 plate will be constructed.

DIFFERENT SCHOOLS DIFFERENT STROKES. Not all schools agree on the followings: -
  1. The YinYang threshold of the Dun 遁 in relation to the LuoPan. Surprisingly not many are aware that there used to be a 24 JieQi 節氣 ring showing the YinYang threshold of the Dun 遁 cutting across Chou and Wei, instead of Zi and Wu that was no longer found in modern LuoPan. There is a reason as to why Chou and Wei is the YinYang threshold. From these differences, the following will also be subjected to debate…
  2. The Hou 候 may not be assigned properly to the respective 60D and affecting the Ju 局 as well.
  3. The issue of the intercalary calendrical calibration. As a result, 2 conflicting methodologies were adopted, namely JhiRun 置潤 and CaiBu 拆補.

For the ease of discussion, we had appended herewith a schedule for discussion only. We, personally don’t quite buy this “shit”.

LOCATING THE 6 JIA LEAD 六甲旬符頭

In SanYuan 三元 the 60 JiaZi are generally grouped into Streams 旬 of 6, being each controlling 10 JiaZi. Therefore the lead stem or FuTou 符頭 are the 6Jia 六甲, leaders of the streams. In this exercise, one ought to locate the leaders of every Yao’s JiaZi. This will determine where the starting point of every 6Jia 六甲 is, in the next episode…

… Continue from the same example, we obtained: -

Child 子 is in 4th Yao – DingHai FuTou 符頭 in JiaShen
Father 父 is in 2nd – WuChen FuTou 符頭 in JiaZi and 6th Yao – DingWei FuTou 符頭 in JiaChen
Wealth 財 is in 1st Yao – WuYin FuTou 符頭 in JiaXu
Officer 官 in 3rd Yao – WuWu FuTou 符頭 in JiaYin

Picture

STARTING THE FLIGHT 符頭定宮法

BingZi 60D found itself within Great Snow 大雪 of the 24 JieQi 節氣, Middle Hou 中候, YinDun 陰遁 – reverse order, taking Ju7 七局 – where the following FuTou 符頭 will starts from these palaces: -

  1. JiaZi starts in Dui Palace (7)
  2. JiaXu starts in Qian Palace (6)
  3. JiaShen starts in Center Palace (5)
  4. JiaWu starts in Xun Palace (4)
  5. Jia Chen starts in Zhen Palace (3)
  6. JiaYin starts in Kun Palace (2)

TAKING THE FLIGHT 符頭推卦

Array the subsequent JiaZi accordingly and the following results will be obtained: -

Child 子 is in 4th Yao – DingHai FuTou 符頭 in JiaShen: Kun Palace (2).
Father 父 is in 2nd – WuChen FuTou 符頭 in JiaZi: Zhen Palace (3) and 6th Yao – DingWei FuTou 符頭 in JiaChen: Li Palace (9).
Wealth 財 is in 1st Yao – WuYin FuTou 符頭 in JiaXu: Kun Palace (2).
Officer 官 in 3rd Yao – WuWu FuTou 符頭 in JiaYin: Dui Palace (7).

CONCLUSION

It becomes obvious that the “Rocket Science” of the day, is to eventually complicate the reading of the Yao 爻法 into Flying Palaces QiMen 飛宫奇門. This may also be the reason how SanYuan proponent improvise such into creating their very own Yao analysis based on 定爻法 Fixed Yao method, 飛爻法 Flying Yao method and 抽爻換象 Flipping Yao to change the imagery method [Details read HERE]. They cannot just exist out of thin air, right?

Locating Father, Son, Wealth and Officer locations are to enable one to further identify another sets of “Jewels” or “Treasure Box” known in FengShui jargon as Salaried Horse Nobleman 祿馬貴. That shall be another story for another day…

奇门安康问题 - QIMEN HEALTH ISSUE POSTDICTION

7/25/2016

Picture
There was an interesting case study in QiMen discussed in some famous Academy in town. One student discloses how a QiMen chart is interpreted according to the Academy approach. It is a very interesting way akin to many HK masters' approach to QiMen. A rather mixture of LiuRen with QiMen. Since it is a voluntarily disclosure of a so called, secret techniques that may have caused USD40,000 to learn in the academy. I have taken the liberty to share in this blog, my perspective.

POST-DICTION VS PRE-DICTION

This is an attempt to use a real case and to match back to a supposingly  QiMen chart in order to explain in detail the flow of events that had occurred. In such case, it is a Postdiction not prediction/forecasting. A QiMen chart is capable to be a tesseract mirror of a 4th dimensional space time continuum. We hope to be able to learn from a Postdiction to be applied in a Prediction manner.

CASE FACT

Mr. S suffered urethral blockage due to stone with complications of water retention and post operations brain hemorrhage. 2 morbid critical surgeries were performed on him. His post surgical conditions weren't good with a high possibility of paralysis. Some what, after ICU he managed to pull himself with speedy recovery... Time and date of event given - 25th May 2016, approximately 6:30pm.

INTRA PALACE READING

Using the same date and time given, a Yang 7 - structure was derived. As the Postdiction was performed on 6:30pm, we shall take a peep on - 'What will becomes of Mr. S?'.

6:30pm straddled within the Shen 申 palace Kun 坤. If you seek to know the outcome of the operations, we look at the Heaven Plate. It is Ji 己 earth, simply means the outcome has obstacle. 己 practically denotes obstruction in a very refined manner nearing contamination. 己may also represents 地户 earth gate.

You may ask, can his ailment be resolved in non invasive procedure? However, the doctor had decided for an open surgery as reflected in Door of JingMen 景门. Practically means open up the part of the body to get a better view of has gone wrong inside. You should never choose this door for surgery.

For Mr. S case, the ripper is already standing-by as reflected by GouChen 陳. GouChen, in the Academy's term is also known as Gripping Hook, a Diety very much akin to 黑白無
常, Black and White Hell's Marshal or the western manifestation of The Ripper. The presence of this deity revealed the presence of the ancestors coming to invite you to the underworld.

Unfortunately his minion, the TianRen 天任 star is rather a good chap biased to the living then the death. As you can see, deities can only perform its role by having the right tools or minions to executes his instructions. TianRen is earth element arriving in Kun palace that is also earth, mutually prosperous. Seems like the ripper uses the wrong tool?

As these QiMen are on the external side, meaning they are inflicted by the levels of healthcare and facilities he received beyond his control.

INTER PALACE READING

Any forms of prediction, in this case postdictiction, begins with a Question that may be related to Health, Wealth, Career, Study and Relationship. These are the general approaches that determines the selection of the correct useful God 用神.

For health matter, we look for good outcome, Yi 乙 as the preferred choice and the star representing good doctor, Tian Xing 天心. If you ought to detect where the sickness is look for Tian Rui 天芮, the JuMen star, source of all sickness and poisons.

THE SICKNESS

In this method, you locate the stars and read its composition within the palace to derive an answer. First, TianRui in Gen 艮 palace sharing with XiuMen 休門, meaning his illness is dormant? Not really. It simply suggests that Mr. S couldn't be bother much with his illness, unless it is critical. Which part of the organ that the illness signify? TangLang 1 white water signify kidneys. What is the Ren 壬 heaven plate signify? Ren is known as flowing fluid meanders liked a snake. It could denotes bleeding or in this case haemorrhage. But what has it got to do with the brain? Jia 甲, the iconography of the brain is hidden in Bing 丙 and it is brought forth by Ren 壬, in this given Yang 7 QiMen Structure. Coincidence or simply magnificent? The DE or Void star at Chou 丑 also arrived at the Gen palace, that make Ren, Ji, TianRui and XiuMen lost an enormous amount of its efficacy but not in this case, largely due to the clashes of Chou 丑 and Wei 未 (day stem).

THE ROOT OF THE COMPLICATION

If the Sickness palace is Gen 艮 earth, what produces earth such as the Li 離 Fire palace shall be the roots of his sickness. In this palace, which is due to external influences has a LiuHe 六合 deity yielding the TianPeng 天蓬 star. A LiuHe deity is fond of getting things together be it good or bad. A TianPeng star are risks takers to the ultimate often associated with the vice, alcoholism and the band of bandits. Together, it means very likely the root of complications are alcoholism induced living habit. This habit is largely hidden or concealed to everyone's knowledge as indicated by DuMen 杜門, thus silently destroying the body, Xin 辛 stem appearing in the heaven stem as killing Qi, 殺氣.

THE CURE

TianXing 天心 the good doctor arrived at Xun 巽 palace. Not only that, you have Yi 乙 stem in the Heaven Plate denoting a noble outcome - you shall be healed. The entire Xun wood 木 palace, which is the Cure controls or clashes away the entire Gen earth 土 palace, which is the Sickness. High chances he shall survive the complication. There is this little ShangMen 傷門, and what does it portend? This is a little tricky as who harms who? As it is the internal sector, it means the patient is on the course of harming the doctor. It is a great challenge for the doctor to save him and the chances are very slim, almost a gamble between life and death.

THE PATIENT'S LIFE PALACE

The day stem of the date for postdiction is Ding 丁 stem, representing the person is found in Qian 乾 palace - his Life palace. The obvious thing you can find in this palace is the JingMen 驚門, representing fear. External sector meaning everyone around him is in fear of him loosing his life. For immediate effects, he would call upon the deity to his assistant. His benefactor shall be someone short, plump and most likely dark skinned - the Nine Earth 九地. Nine Earth almost synonymous to the Earth Deity also represent someone who owns land, a boss or an employer. This deity will dispose his minions, the TianFu 天輔 to assist him in whatever he needed. This is the best and noblest tool a deity could lend his hand on, meaning he can really get the things done.

THE MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH

SiMen 死門 is located in Dui 兌 palace, due to external influences, meaning the conditions are not very favorable to this person escalating his morbidity. ShengMen 生門 is at the opposite, Zhen 震 palace, the source of his lifeline, ShengQi 生氣. These are always the opposite sector. Arguing that because there is a DE or a Void at Zhen palace nullified the clash may sounds logical, as in emptiness there is nothing worth to be clashed in or clashed out. At best, we knew that all the constituents within the palace encountering DE or Void has lost its efficacy with the exception of the Deity.

But Life and Death does not fall in the hand of Man... That is a subject of discourse for other time.

CONCLUSION

This postdiction illustration demonstrated how a QiMen chart is read through all the palaces, not just one. It also demonstrated how an inter and intra palaces are read to get into the details of multiples inquiries. Structures, internal external sectors, DE and others are integral to construct the entire reality where auspicious and inauspicious are defined. Inter palaces countering and producing, deities and their minions with the immediate outcomes of the stems are all tell tales for you to read a QiMen chart with its appropriate identification of the useful God. At a superficial level, it is a complete reading of a QiMen chart in retrospect to postdiction. Hopefully by applying the same modus operandi, one is able to use it with success in many predictions with QiMen to come. At anytime, such knowledge may cost at least USD 10,000 to learn and thanks to many good souls of the academy, it has been revealed partially. In comparisons to other academies, many may just dropped short at the hour pillar prediction, here it is revealed that the day pillar prediction is equally important. One question remains, do you read QiMen overlapping with LiuRen?

SANYUAN QIMEN DAGUA  三元奇門大卦

This method is made popular by the late grandmaster Zheng ZiNan hailed from Taiwan and grandmaster Chen BeiShen hailed from HongKong who had lived a ripe age and had built an empire of wealth for their families. Their lives are the epitome of a true genuine master who prosper himself before others. Zheng ZiNan uses the term SanYuan DiLi or SanYuan Earth Study to differentiate himself among the peers. He advocated his technique called XieZiFa and the results driven application has impacted the industry of his time. He is among the pioneer to give warranty for his work, unmatched by others. There are two arms to this method. One is QiMen DunJia and the other SanYuan DaGua. QMDJ is the art of the Divination and SYDG is the art of Connecting Qi. So, together it is a complete technique.

AN EXPERIMENT...

We experiment with QiMen in many occasions and when it is applied correctly, it yields amazing results both deploying ZhiRun and ChaiBu methods. In fact, both methods can be used. The question is - How to use them effectively... Just for experimentation we employ ChaiBu in an attempt to expose the Con Master of Bolehland - Fake YuHanJing, Fake Earth Dragon and Fake Death and Emptiness Lines and uses the platform of the internet and facebook as all the following events that had unfolded were properly documented.

Upon using the QiMen as per the chart shown, the ConMan of Bolehland was bombarded by others We did not hire guns to do the bombardment. It just happened. With every move, the ConMan of Bolehland trapped himself further and further. With every defense he tried to salvage, it back fired even more. This simple experiment shocked the Metaphysics forum for the English speaking community. Fueled by his very own fear, even his very own student BETRAYED him, including those who had associated with him for a very long time... This technique as some called - the covert operation of QiMen is liked a curse, when deploy it is very difficult to diffuse. Indeed, a dark art to be used in wrong hand. But since we intend to do a disclosure, it meant for the benefits of all and to the potentially unaware students that may have fallen into the trap of the Bolehland Conman.

遁行太白之書 - THE SINISTER STORY OF GENG

8/21/2015

Picture
30 March 2014, 15:35pm - Zheng GuoQiang had been invited by the family of recently deceased DeMeng, 75, to a cemetery in ZhaoQing, Guangdong province, to try and identify the perfect burial plot for the grave of their relative. The FengShui master reportedly took the members of the deceased man's family to a place he considered fit for their relative's last resting place when the mudslide happened due to the rainstorms in recent days.  The FengShui master, the Taoist and three cemetery workers were all buried alive. Five of them died at the scene. While the date and time of Death of a person is difficult to determine, the question remained as to why has this great master chosen an inauspicious date to work? Is he a charlatan master instead of a genuine one?

There are many date selection system in the Chinese Metaphysics. One in particular is QiMen. The QiMen chart of that day in accordance to the ChaiBu system revealed that the hour of mishap is JiaShen in a GengZi day. Shen and Geng are both the notorious elements. It is also called TaiBai, the ultimate white. For divination, we look at the hour. Shen hour – Kun Palace. Immediately, the outcome of divinity is also Geng. There are also the Death Door and a very problematic star sharing the same palace with Geng.

The Classics of Evading Movement of the Great White’s Book 遁行太白之書 said, “GengJia lean officer must die, matching death door is Heaven Will, 庚甲伏宮人必死,配合死門是天機, First degree second degree arriving third degree, fourth degree sure die no doubt about it, 一度二度至三度,四度必死不須疑.” Does it sounds like casting spell? The same Classics also state that, “惟有死門與驚門,寧死不從莫強魯, However have Death door partake Fear door, would rather Die not pass do no great foolish.” Interesting as it was a thunderstorm beforehand and the late master has to gut to soldier on his mission. Could it be a foolish act?

Another aspect that is noteworthy is the FuYin of the Door and the stems of both heaven and earth plate together with the Emptiness. The question is, do the Deities be affected by the emptiness? If not why on “heaven” you have the greatest deity of all ZhiFu and yet he cannot turn away all the malignant stars into beneficial one? Has the FengShui master not have ZhiFu on his side? Perhaps, the classic has this to say, “立向共行坐山舖,establish facing perpetuate movement sitting mountain store.”

For once I was informed that another Singaporean QiMen master that said, “If Zheng GuoQiang had enrolled into his class for 2 days, he sure would have not died!” Unfortunately, history has no IF.

SANYUAN+QIMEN+DAGUA  三元+奇門+大卦

FengShui is a term strictly referred to as the art of harnessing ShengQi. Looking at a natal chart and predict where is ShengQi and ShaQi and to decide where to sit and face is not FengShui. This is Divination, the art of divinity based on numerology, imagery and Qi. Its method is far reaching ranging from QiMen SanShi to YiGua and BaZi to the very extend of XuanKong DaGua. Yet, since time immemorial, it is considered as part and parcel of FengShui, formerly called ZhaiBu, the Divination of a House.

Modern practitioner may use both arts in synchronicity. As example, they may do a divination before even attempting to visit the site for an audit. This is by mean of opening up a QiMen or a ZiBai Natal Chart and read the ingredient thereof. From the chart they are able to discern where is the incoming Qi, outgoing Qi, ShaQi and where is the best location to locate the main door, thus establishing siting and facing. This is called remote sensing. The customer would be thrilled by the practitioner's ability of clairvoyance and often mistaken as a living angel. However, this is Not FengShui!

Upon reaching the site, a FengShui practitioner will evaluate the capacity of a site by taking into consideration the macro incoming and outgoing Qi, to establish its Qi maps. The same is applied to the immediate external and follow through towards the compound of the property, so that every layers are consistent to a structure. This is the art of harnessing Qi. The interior of the property is arranged to conform to such structure as to allow Qi to flow unobstructed. The art of harnessing is through the Xue, not one but multiples. SanHe method is employ to where Qi begins. SanYuan method is employ to where Qi ends. They are both complementary and these are genuine FengShui and they are not guess work such as divination.

What if the site conditions contradicted the divination outcome? Which take precedent? This often happen. FengShui method is grounded on specific methodology almost scientific in nature. Divination is by virtue of synchronicity and probability almost guess work. Which do you think is likely to bring result?

Point in discussion...

There is case point worth discussing and it is called XianTian SanYuan QiMen DunJia XuanKong DaGua (XTSYQMDJXKDG) what a mouthful words for a simple term of Early Heaven Three Cycle Mysterious Gate Hiding the Jia Mysterious Void Huge Hexagram. Gosh... Gasping for air pronouncing it.

This method is made popular by the late grandmaster Zheng ZiNan hailed from Taiwan who had lived a ripe age of 100 and had built an empire of wealth for his family. His life is the epitome of a true genuine master who prosper himself before others. When he came to Taiwan, he use the term SanYuan DiLi or SanYuan Earth Study to differentiate himself among the peers. He advocated his technique called XieZiFa and the results driven application has impacted the industry of his time. He is among the pioneer to give warranty for his work, unmatched by others. By self-confession, he never disclose his method to anyone outside his family circle. Yet, as we see today, there are so many "clones".

Some of these clones, learnt the similar art from HongKong, similar is the operative word. The late grandmaster ChenBeiSheng was the torch bearer of XuanKong DaGua he claimed as MiaoPai. He advocated the key in applying XKDG is in QMDJ. Therefore, XTSYQMDJXKDG is XieZiFa. Unfortunately, we don't subscribed to this statement.

There are two arms to this method. One is QMDJ and the other XKDG. QMDJ is the art of the Divination and XKDG is the art of Connecting Qi. So, together it is a complete technique.

Banking on the expansive investment of learning this art, many clones started teaching QMDJ in 4 instalments, namely QMDJ-Divination, QMDJ-Life Reading, QMDJ-FengShui and QMDJ-Strategy. Some clones go as far as teaching QMDJ-witchcraft, QMDJ-art of war, QMDJ-hoccuspoccus and so forth. They denied the fact that fundamentally, they are the same - the art of divination.

How to connect the dots?

It begins with the understanding of Heaven Earth and Man. Each has its own natal chart. QMDJ-Life Reading will tell you that QMDJ can be used to read your Life like BaZi. It is even better than ZiPing BaZi, the clones called it BaZi+. Based on your solar date and time of birth, a QMDJ chart is constructed. It is supposed to be uniquely You. The natal chart is fixed, but the palaces are dynamic and it reflects your Destiny. When you add another layer of XKDG, you will get the Hexagram, that is specially and uniquely Your Life Hexagram. This natal chart will form the very basis of You and You must never deviate away from the prescription of this chart, otherwise it is bad omen.

After knowing yourself, you must know what is around you. This is where QMDJ-Divination becomes handy. This aspect aligns traditionally as the Hour School QMDJ, where the chart is derived from the Hour. Interpreting the charts differ among schools but its fundamentals are similar – interplay between host and guest to determine the useful god. Failure in doing so will result in a chaotic reading. When you add another layer of XKDG, you will get the simultaneous application of Purple White Hexagram that is the ultimate usage of the Purple White Scroll or ZiBaiJue. The simultaneous application of QMDJ-Divination with Annual and Replacement stars enable forecasting for any event, property, person and others including the ever familiar Eight Mansions techniques.

Knowing what is around you is insignificant if you do not know how to unlock the secret of QMDJ and XKDG. This is where QMDJ-FengShui becomes handy. Besides the ability to perform “desk-top” FengShui or “remote-sensing” audit to a particular site or property, QMDJ-FengShui coupled with XKDG enable you to connect Qi wherever you please. Your ability in FengShui is no longer confined to the physical existence of Qi but to connect to the mystical abode of Qi so provided in QMDJ. Your ability in Qi connection will be transcended beyond merely receiving good incoming and expelling bad outgoing Qi to tapping to your wealthy neighborhood while living in a not so prosperous neighborhood. Turning misfortune into fortune is what probably coined as XieZiFa within a short time span. It is an art of wizardry, hardly anything one has known before.

Unlocking the Secret of QMDJ XKDG is when you plan and execute your plan according to the will of Heaven including date selections that are not confined to only FengShui date selection but everything. The key is Plan and Execute! This is QMDJ-Strategy. When it is applied to War it is the Art of War. When it is applied to getting rich it is the Art of Wealth. It encompasses all the duration of short, medium and long term plans juggling among the Hour, Day and Year School QiMen. This is divination applied to execution par excellent as the saying goes, if you failed to Plan then plan to Fail and you will NEVER FAIL! In our school it goes hand in hand with QiMen LiuRen simultaneous applications.

Not enough? Call in the ‘X-Men’ from another dimensions. This is traditionally termed FaQiMen. It is the art of both the ‘dark’ and the ‘white’ sides. In StarWars terminology, it is the use of the ‘Force’ between the Jedi Masters and the Sith Lords. Goes very well with any Daoist Lineages be it LiuRen ShenGong, MaoShan ShenGong, ZhenYi ShenGong, LvShan ShenGong and all that you can possibly find and it comes in very handy in Ghost Busting, gambling and ‘robbery’. Incantations and Talismans are the tools to summons the ‘X-Men’ to your assistance via QiMen Five Charms Five Ghosts techniques. In our school it goes hand in hand with QiMen LiuRen simultaneous applications.

Afterthought...

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - XKDG Early Heaven 64 Gua 三元玄空先天64卦奇門遁甲

Picture
One mistake with regard to QiMenDunJia (QMDJ) date selection is the auspicious date! There is NO auspicious or inauspicious date to begin with. QMDJ hour school is base on the selection of hour to benefit from one situation. It is a sum zero game that require one to take side.

If one is the offensive, the QMDJ plate will best tell you the scenario to win. Whereas the defender will see from the plate, where is the situation that require the most defend. There is absolutely no good or bad, but what is appropriate. The entire chart is a scenario telling the plot of both parties.

In Taiwan, the simultaneous use of QMDJ with XKDG Early Heaven 64 Gua 三元玄空先天64卦奇門遁甲  was made popular by the late grandmaster Zeng ZiNan. This method advocated the ability of the hexagram to unlock a specific QMDJ portal to achieve YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清.

The secrets to this method vested in the way the QMDJ portals are assigned to the 64 hexagram from as simple as assigning via HeTu configuration to a complicated "S" sequence. When this method is properly applied, results will manifest almost immediately with an unfolding phenomenon indicating that the specific portal is indeed open. Some take this as an art to activate XieZiFa 些子法.

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - MingShi PanXian 明師盤線

Picture
Insufficient with that, some Taiwanese masters also included the use of Heavenly Star method, TianXing Fa 天星法 based on QiZheng SiYou 七政四餘 or some called QiZheng SanWang 七政三王 to match the actual arrival of the asterism to a sub sector of a hexagram.

Heavenly Star method is the core astrology study of TaiYi ShenShu 太乙神數, one of the SanShiQiMen. It is also the basis of how the SiFenLi or the 4 remaining calendar is derived from. 4 Remaining is another word for intercalary, apt for the intercalary of 64 Hexagram to the 60 JiaZi. By determining the exact of the7 luminaries to the closest minute, one is able to determine the 5 elemental correlation between the asterism with the palace it resides. That will be as close to a Yao within a Hexagram.

Extended from XKDG YiGua ChunQing, the change of Yao within a specific hexagram is called ChaoYao HuanXiang, changing a Yao to change the imagery of a hexagram. Because the Yao is less than a degree, it is very difficult to ascertain its correct usage and often rendered as nonsense.

Matching the properties' sitting and facing of the dynamic 7 luminaries within the fixed asterism, it is how the art of TaiYi QiMen applied to XKDG. One school called such as MingShi PanXian 明師盤線 or Great Master Plate Line. The term line denotes the correlation among the 7 luminaries, palaces of the 28 asterism and its subsectors within the 64 Hexagram sitting and facing Yao lines. Come to think of it, the Taiwanese has given it a twist as a rocket science of Chinese Metaphysics.

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua 河洛玄機三元六氣奇門遁甲

Picture
When a XKDG YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清 has both the supports of QiMen portal with the arrival of TaiYi QiMen 太乙奇门 at the facing, what is lack here is the water method to hold the entire formation together.

Some Taiwanese masters called these the ZhongTian ShuiFa 中天水法 or the HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua 河洛玄機三元六氣奇門遁甲. The trick here is to enable what is probably called FeiXing RuDou  飛星入斗 or Flying Star entering asterism. The way these 64 Gua arrays are entirely different from XKDG, because they are based on LianShan GuiChang Gua 连山归藏 instead.

While we always thought that LianShan GuiChang were extinct, LianShan is referred to the source Qi of KunLun and GuiChang, the water dragon of HuangHe. Matching both will unlock the secrets of LingZheng principles and determine where SanYuan water mouth should be located. Some called it AiXing Fa, but it is really LiuRen QiMen  六壬奇門 in nature, where the 4 Wei Gua or the ordinal trigrams are the basis of LianShan GuiChang.

In a 3D formation, it is the ladder that links the underworld, human and heaven together. Although the market driven LungMen BaJu, Dragongate 8 Formations is also called ZhongTian ShuiFa, it is a modified version of the LiuRen QiMen. That is why it will never reflects the true landform consideration to an extend it sounded illogical.

I personally disagree with how these Taiwanese masters tend to gel things together especially so when the source are as doubtful as hearing from grandma's tale. Especially when it is said HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua was discovered from so and so in a cave at Hainan Island. Furthermore, with the aid of computer, SanShi QiMen looks like any western astrology and I believed, if it can be found as any computer softwares, its real truth is somewhere far far away...

No wonder, I was told QMDJ date selections are used to do FengShui, determine auspicious hour and do predictions. OMG!

SANYUAN 三元 WAY OF HIDING THE JIA 遁甲

12/14/2014

SanYuan 三元 is one of the system of keeping track of an event occur in the space-time continuum 時空. The term 元 implied space-time continuum 時空. The notion of 三 implied upper, middle and lower - the trilogy of early, later and middle Heavens (past, current and future events). Each of the 元 has its own layers. In simple term, 三元 is a space craft travels in the space time continuum.

As SanYuan developed on its very own in conjunction with the existence of the early calendric systems, it has borrowed many existing knowledge notably the idea of Li, Qi and Xiang 理气象. Li 理 specify its method, Qi 氣 adopting its five elemental 五行 units as 甲子 and Xiang 象 encoding of both into a system of Gua 卦 binary. SanYuan   Method works in a rotation or spirals. A continuum spiraling space-time has no gap in between that is why it is continuum.

In reality, SanYuan operates beyond our 3D existence. However, due to the limited crude technology available to our forefathers, space 空 has been compressed into 2D space fondly known today as the 9 palaces grid 九宮. This became the hall mark of SanYuan. When Time 時 is induced within the 9 palaces, it takes the form as JiaZi 甲子. Technically space-time in SanYuan is measured via the JiaZi running about within the 9 palaces grid.

Within JiaZi, let’s look at the stem 干 itself. There are 10 stems but there are only 9 palaces. So, at any one time, only 9 stems will be shown array within the 9 palaces. If you need to count from the first stem, 甲 all the way to 癸, it is always the Jia 甲 that will be gone missing. This is how the term DunJia 遁甲 came about.
Picture
DunJia always work as a rotation within the SanYuan enclosure of 360 days a year. The remaining days are calibrated via a method called ZhiRun Fa 直闰法. However, it is not always easy for common people to keep up with the intercallaration of this method. Therefore, they improvised another method called  ChaiBu Fa 拆补法, meaning dismantle and patch back again. However, this method is a little arbitrarily and not truly the pedigree of DunJia.

DunJia 遁甲 is further developed into its own method notably, the art of war 兵法. By resembling Jia 甲 as the King 君, YiBingDing 乙丙丁 as the 3 nobles and the rest of the 6 stems as the 6 crescents or warlords, it has manifested itself into an art governing human affairs. That is what it is famously known today by literatures of the 3 Kingdoms and so forth. So hiding the Jia or 遁甲 becomes, hiding the King.

However, it is always not necessary true. DunJia is also a system enable one to peep into possible future resembling Quantum Mechanics where the anthropic effects do not necessary bring about a fix definite outcome, 1 plus 1 is never equal 2. This is later commercially termed forecasting. In fact, many of the forecasting system we use such as 六爻, 八字, 玄空 and so forth are based on DunJia. Strangely the work of BoWen, DiTianSui 滴天髓 Drips of Heavenly Marrow laid the foundation of DunJia.

With forecasting, it is then applied to FengShui forecasting. It is never meant to be a FengShui method. It is deemed to have been a FengShui method by practitioners who had never been trained in true YangGong FengShui or DiLi 地理. So, technically it should not have been use as a FengShui technique but a FengShui forecasting instead. It gives you a glimpse of where Qi is coming from, going to and its apparent Sha 煞. You still need to adopt 收山出煞 Receiving Yin, Protruding Sha to ride Qi. Ironically, BaZhai 八宅, ZiBai 紫白 and XuanKong 玄空 are all the offsprings of DunJia 遁甲. So, how on earth are these techniques used to 收山出煞 Receiving Yin, Protruding Sha to ride Qi? Strange isn't it?

Even more strange when there are people who says BaZhai 八宅 using the 甲子 JiaZi is never a true method because in the olden days, it simply cannot be that complicated. How on earth could an offspring do not contain the DNA of its parent? How do you think all the Gua numbers 命卦 comes about if it is not from DunJia? If you cannot discern these, please go back to the fundamentals.

With forecasting also, it is applied to Fate calculation 命理. It cannot replace BaZi but it could point out a way to go against destiny, because with forecasting, the end result is not fixed. Some use BaZi as the diagnosis and DunJia as a prescription.

Collectively, art of war cum destiny cum forecasting are sexily termed strategy execution coupled with QiMen, it is now known as QiMenDunJia 奇门遁甲. Aptly, SanYuan QiMenDunJia 三元奇门遁甲. It adds many layers to QiMen to make it more complex now having the dimensions of deities, stars, doors, heaven and earth Qi, PurpleWhite, 9 palaces and Gua.

Not sufficient? Wait till you encounter this species called XianTian SanYuan XuanKong DaGua QiMen DunJia 先天三元奇門遁甲玄空大卦. What a mouthful of jargons. Strangely, this is not yet the material for XieZiFa 些子法.

CHINESE CALENDER

CALENDER & DIVINATION

The historical account of the Chinese Calendric sciences are both interesting and intriguingoften laden with puzzles, hypotheses and dogmas. On one hand, it needs to account for the evolutions of the GanZhi 干支 system of Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branches while on the other, the all embracing system of Yi in the forms of Hexagrams and Trigrams 卦. As commonly understood, there are 60 GanZhi as opposed to 64 Hexagrams. So technically, a complete cycle of the GanZhi 干支 system may not match the complete cycle of the system of Yi in the forms of Hexagrams and Trigrams 卦. However through the centuries, there are many attempts to consolidate both systems into a workable model and through 3 generations of Chinese Calendars was born:-

1. The first was known as TaiChu Li or the Calendar of the Great Beginning.
2. The second was known as SanTong Li or the Calendar of the Three Concordance.
3. The third was known as SiFen Li or the Calendar of the Four Remainders.

These are models based on a LuniSolar attempt or the combination of:-

1. Lunar – Calculation based on Lunation of the moon around the Earth.
2. Solar – Calculation based on Sun path in relation to Earth rotation commonly known as the Yellow Path.

Where both GanZhi and YiGua are used. In Chinese Metaphysics, both GanZhi and YiGua are equally important: -

1. SanHe – Emphasis on GanZi
2. SanYuan – Emphasis on YiGua

Are these systems measuring the same Qi? What sort of calendar does the system employ? Better, what areGanZhi and YiGua measuring to?

If one look at the SYSTEM itself, starts from 1 WuQi, 2 Slices of YinYang, 3 Components of SanCai, 4 Seasons, 7 Luminaries, 8 Guas, 9 Stars, 10 Stems and all through 24 sub seasons and 30 pairs of NaYin to 64 Hexagrams. How would one consolidate such into ameaningful working model?

Questions: -

1. Has any of  the basis of Yarrow Stalks Divination method has to do with calendric sciences?
2. Why would one group the 24 sub seasons into the group of three instead of two as commonly understood?
3. A trigram is made of 3 Yao (3 lines comprising the composition of solid or broken line). Why a Yang Yao (solid line) must take the value of 9 as opposed to Yin Yao (broken line) which take the value of 6 as the basis of measuring time?

If these fundamentals are not sorted out, how would one understand the working mechanism of DaGua date selections and confronting SanSha? How would one understand the use of GuaYun and GuaQi? What are these units measuring to in the first instance?
Picture
Using YiGua for divination purposes is a very common practice. The casting of the Hexagram is based on the age old practice of heating up the tortoise shell until it cracks to casting of the yarrow stalk, flipping copper coins by shaking the tortoise shell and the more up to date, iPhone Apps. These are techniques of seeking an answer from Heaven through a randomly casting medium such as yarrow stalks and tortoise shell which are believed to have contained spiritual Qi, LingQi.

What interests me most is the fundamental basis of the Yarrow Stalk method which conceals the will of Heaven annexed to the numerology in the science of the calendrics. It cannot just be a random or simply numbers pluck from thin air. For example, why there are 216 divination sticks for Qian and 144 divination sticks for Kun?

The answers can be found in the HeTu, LoShu and the Seasonal Nodes, the very fundamental building blocks of Chinese calendar. Understanding such one will continue to be puzzled that a simple method liked the Yarrow Stalks are beyond just mere superstitions of the commonly known, street fortune telling but also the basis of computing the rotation of the 7 luminaries as close to our modern astronomical calculations.

YEAR SEASON DAY

A Tropical Year is calculated on the basis of the Earth moving around the Sun. The equinoxes and the solstices demarcating Earth’s distance, nearest or furthest away from the Sun marking the 4 seasons where the extreme Yin begins in Zi and the extreme Yang begins in Wu month.

Of the 4 seasons, the 24 seasonal nodes are referred to as solar markers. One season governs 6 seasonal nodes. Therefore, each portion governs 3 seasonal nodes, thus vernal equinox in spring becomes an important marker where wood Qi is at its optimum.

The Stables Qi is at its infancy (growth), the Cardinals Qi is at its peak (prosperous) and the Graves Qi is at its tomb (storage). These are the basis of SanHe’s 12 growth phases, measuring the “HouQi” or vital Qi which implies that influence between 2 gravitational forces at its strongest and weakest. It takes 15 days for a revolution of HouQi. Multiply by 24 seasonal nodes, a year contains 360 days.

But our Modern Day calculation state that it takes about 365 1/4 days for a year. Would such make the Calendar obsolete?

HOUQI, LIUJIA, NAYIN

ANCIENT TIME PIECE

Since Shang Dynasty, a 10 days week module was introduced, led by a particular GanZi making the 6 Jia (LiuJia) cycles of Stem and Branch. 60 JiaZi  obtained 360. Each  day is assigned to a JiaZi.

HouQi is the Vital Qi measurement of the  resonance forces of nature. It is an interaction between stem and earth branch, some called  Acquired Melody.

Although 60 JiaZi is individually unique, it undergoes its own YinYang resonance. A competent practitioner will able to discern its YinYang attributes  to determine its timing and its medium. Therefore, it is common to say there are only 30 pairs of Acquired Melody coincidentally give one a rotation of 360 per year.

A rough idea to demonstrate such will be the resonance emitted from the interaction between Earth orbiting the Sun while the moon orbiting the Earth. The gravitational stretch among these planetary masses through the medium of water and earth “vibrates” creating wave liked effects liked “sound”. It is also known as penetrating “melodic” of the 5 elements as it has to pass on through a medium liked earth. Modern comparison would like “ultra-sound”, seeing the imagery through the lens of vibration. Therefore, the ancients equal it as Vital Qi.

As to equate such Vital Qi with radioactive properties such as Radon is again, subject to debate. Although in ancient time, radioactivity is not so much apparent compared to the use of other substances such as mercury. That is one reason Vital Qi equals radioactivity may not be entirely True. Read Playing GOD.

So to speak spring begins in the arrival of spring may not necessary meant wood Qi has arrived. It has to wait until its vital Qi arrives and that is measurable.  So, 360 rotation a year compared with 365 ¼ days a year may result in 5 ¼ days off grids. So a certain devise to calibrate its differences is required. The question is what it is?

There is a reason that this portable ancient time piece is invented. Very useful for Yin FengShui Burial, Earth Breaking, Moving In and the sorts that related to date selections. Comprising of a Sundial and a Compass of 24 mountains resurrected by a back-piece to adjust according to the 24 seasonal nodes for solar casting, it is an expansive hand made tool, price around SGD400. Anyone interested may drop me a mail for bulk order. May even think of mass production using plastic casing.

Picture
Come to think of it, when we are so accustomed to using the Solar Calendar to plot our Destiny Chart, what happened when someone said, it is more accurate if we use the Lunar Calendar instead? Well, then this very time piece will not be so important anymore. We need the water clock instead. By the same token, apart from issue relating to the intercalary, JieQi and Branches, the Lunar Calender is important for matters relating to the White Path of the Lunar Mansions as a contributory method. That is one reason why some old masters in HongKong is mocking about.

EARLY, LATER AND MIDDLE HEAVEN 先后中天 OF QIMEN 奇门遁甲

QiMen 奇门 unlocks the portal 门 of XuanKong 玄空. XuanKong 玄空 only exists because the mind 心 existed. This is probably known as the Seal of XuanKong 玄空心印. Scientifically, the QiMen 奇门 portal is the space-time 4th dimensions and the single consciousness mind 心 is the single event, a slice within the spectrum of space-time continuum.
XuanKong 玄空, mysterious subtleties comprising emptiness 空 and mysterious 玄 are the origins of the creative power of Qi 气. During the time of the Primal Chaos 混沌 a single event sparks the creation of the universe and it is called the Supreme Beginning 太始. Within it the Original Fetus 元胎 begin to sprout and this is the Essence 精 Jing. With the essence coming into being, it is now called the Supreme Ultimate 太極, creating Heaven and Earth 天地 are the father and mother 父母. A slice of event within the spectrum of space-time continuum multiplies churning the Supreme Yi 太易 thus reality 现实 existed as the Two Slices 兩儀.

The Two Slices 兩儀 are the space-time continuum of the past and the future and only a non-physical matter could travel between the past and the future with the absent of mass. The portal of XuanKong 玄空奇门 can thus be unlocked by the entity called the mind 心. Human is not the only reality 现实 that has existed. There are other consciousness within the same universe that has existed alongside with human. These realities are thus called 神 Shen. It influences the mind 心 and thus govern our intention and effect our realities.
Picture

先天 I 后天 I 中天

The realities of the past effect our present mind 心 (intention) governs our current action to mold the future reality. These realities of the past are called Early Heaven 先天. The reality of the future is called Later Heaven 后天. The present as in “Now” is called the Middle Heaven 中天. Yet, the mind 心 (intention) is continuously haunted by our past and the same mind 心 (intention) is continuously feared of the future. So, our minds travel through these spectrums of past and future without stop. The negative mind is called the evil mind 心魔.

Picture
Suppressing the evil mind 心魔 takes a little bit of a challenge. That is where religions come in handy and it marks the dawn of QiMen 奇门 merging with LiuRen ShenGong 六壬神功 to become what it is today, the “hocus pocus” Fa QiMen 法奇门.  The Daoist Scripture 道法本無多, DaoFa Ben WuDuo is very relevant in suppressing the evil mind 心魔. If you don’t quite sure what it is, read HERE. In a nutshell suppressing the evil mind 心魔 is to be in a state of mindset of undifferentiated self or commercially known as the “alpha state” consciousness, 定心.

中天法

Fa QiMen 法奇门 helps the mind 心 to suppress the evil mind 心魔 via the Seal of XuanKong 玄空心印 to reach a state of mindset of undifferentiated self 定心. Only through this stage of undifferentiated self 定心 that the mind 心 is able to control the unchangeable past 先天 and to affect the changeable future 后天. This method is also called Middle Heaven method 中天法. It is through such intervention that bad vibes or bad luck are broken.

Picture
The Middle Heaven 中天 is also a single slice of event in space-time that the law of physics cannot work as it is deemed to be an event horizon. This “event horizon” is the YinYang threshold that is the “wormholes” for other dimensional beings or realities, known as 神 Shen, to response to your needs (intention). Therefore beside the mysterious 8 doors 奇八门, there are also the 10 gods 十神 in QiMen 奇门.

神 Shen is not a body of Qi 气 and therefore they are not afraid of emptiness or void 空. In fact they dwell in void 空, to be précised in XuanKong 玄空. Because their original spirit 元神 has no intention, Qi 气, they are neither good nor bad and their attributes are derived from the Hexagram 挂. Being in XuanKong 玄空, they also have no original position within the 8 directions. It is only a single movement of event within the space-time continuum determines the positive or the negative aspect of the 10 gods 十神. A single movement of event within the space-time continuum alters reality and each of these realities cast a Hexagram 挂. Each Hexagram 挂 defines the attributes of the gods 神. Reality 现实, Hexagram 挂 and Gods 神 are but a single undivided event within the space-time continuum.
Gods 神 Shen will not intervene with your karma. There is a cardinal rule that if you asked from the gods, you shall receive but you shall also give something back in return. This is commercially called “equilibrium exchange” or neutral karma. So, technically the gods are not supposed to download upload directly into your mind 心, instead the gods hinge upon the 9 stars 九星 as their multipurpose vehicle or to put it bluntly, their minions to alter your realities.

Picture
9 stars 九星 are minions that perform the “dirty work” of the gods. These are the body of Qi 气 that has its residue imprinted in the DNA or every person on earth. They are the medium of the mortal communicating with the immortals. Being in the body of Qi 气 they resides in their respective home palaces and they very sensitive of being countered, punished, weakened or harmed. In short, they are just a bunch of minions that sometimes couldn’t get along too well with one another. When the 9 stars 九星 felt into void or emptiness, they simply couldn’t exert their full potentials and the gods could no longer utilize them.

The 9 stars 九星 exert their influences the way Qi 气 influence us through the space-time continuum. The ancient Chinese depict them as the nine “emperor” but they are more likely to be the sacred tools of the gods. Use it wisely it cures. Use it carelessly it hurts. If it is used by the vengeful gods it brings forth punishment. If it is used by the benevolent gods it brings forth blessings.

Later development of the 9 stars 九星 in QiMen 奇门, witnessed the birth of the Purple White Stars 紫白九星. This can be an entirely standalone techniques that are the forerunner of Flying Star 飞星. In XuanKong ZiBai 玄空紫白 divination techniques itself, to pluck a Gua 挂 to foretell an event of the future is exactly the same modus operandi of Middle Heaven method 中天法 where XuanKong 玄空 opens up its mysterious window of opportunity for your mind 心 to seek an answer through the portal of space-time continuum and to draw an answer from it within split seconds.

Further developments of Purple White Stars 紫白九星 witnessed the integration of DunJia 遁甲 into a broader spectrum of QiMen 奇门. Together it forges QiMen DunJia 奇门遁甲. In a nutshell, Fa QiMen 法奇门 allows the mind to be indifference 定心. In this states of mind, you enter into a distorted reality fields that allow you to ask from the gods 神, you shall receive from the gods 神. That is where you alter reality!

JINGQISHEN 精气神 OF QIMEN 奇门

12/1/2014

Picture
In Chinese Metaphysics the very backbone of existence is 精气神. These matter can be applied to a wide spectrum of things that also include the model of production. Model of production is a model of how and why we create things. It is the very act of creation and creativity. Details read HERE. The result of such creation is a product. The product in itself is a reality.

Before a product becomes a reality, it undergone the process of creation that usually comes from an idea. Idea is not real or unreal. It is virtual. Details read HERE. It is something that plays in the mind of its creator. Everyone has a mind 心 and therefore has the ability to create. The mind is the forerunner of all evils. It is also the forerunner of everything good. Good and Evil is the creation from the mind and it is duality. The mind existed without a form. It clings to any forms that our consciousness rest upon. It is formless and nowhere to be found in the physical body. It think it existed, therefore it exist!

Picture
Mind 心 in the spectrum of existence is the Qi 气 that is flowing in our body. This Qi is the intention. Intention is vested in our needs. Our needs form our wants. With wants we become selective and we know what we don’t want. With such selections, we set standards and goals. We no longer look at the presence, we telescope to the future. In psychoanalysis, it is known as the displaced self. Detail read HERE.

Picture
With the intention of either to improve ourselves or making a better self, we take action. Action is the act of making a possible product a reality. It is turning “raw materials” into a product based on our design which is the “intention”. To some it is called manufacturing. To manufacture you need something physical like strength. In other word, you need to be in good health to have a strong body 体 Ti for you to execute your plan. This body is in the corporeal form 精 Jing. The states of 精 Jing or essence is important as it dictates your product which is 神, the reality.

Picture
Bad intention Qi 气 leads to bad action, the states of 精 Jing and bad action ultimately leads to bad product which is the 神, the reality. Similarly good intention ends up with good action and leads to good product. The downward spiral are called Bad Luck and the upward spiral is called Good Luck. In Chinese metaphysics, if you are in good luck – every action taken will be good. If you are in bad luck, every action taken is bad. Therefore, people with bad luck will need a third party to break the bad luck spell.

In Chinese Metaphysics, there is a tool called 奇门遁甲 QiMen DunJia or Mysterious Door Hiding the Jia techniques  to manage such situation. In times to come more will be disclosed.
