Preface to the Secretly Passed down Water Dragon Classic

Of the writings on the principles of the earth that DaHong passed on, only the GuiHouLu (Record of Returning to Sincerity) is the most outstanding and there are many copies in the world. Yet this water dragon classic in five chapters has certainly never been seen before. I do not know when it entered the library of Xi of YuFeng. His man wanted a heavy price to set it aside. So it was not purchased until the library changed hands. While flipping through a jumble of papers, I discovered and recognized a mysterious volume.

I have often placed it in my luggage to use it for divining residences. This is the only volume in the world and I am afraid that it will consequently sink into oblivion and be lost. Moreover, much of the original book was in the wrong order with sentences omitted and characters written erroneously and with the mistaken incorporation of writers of the category of YangYunsong and LiuBoWen. Therefore, I made corrections and wrote out another copy and returned the original to QingHe.

I once took it out and showed it to experts on the water dragon like Wang JinGuang and Zhang ShiZhi who exclaimed in wonder at this singular copy and made a copy of it and left. From this you can know the value and importance of the book.

I have examined the mountain dragon and water dragon according to the opinion of antiquity and it was believed that (the idea of) a dragon had come from the GongLiu of the Book of Songs.

`If one ascends, they are at the peak. Moreover, one ascends the south ridge.' This then is the method of observing the mountain dragon.

`Behold the flowing spring becomes meagre and comes to an end.' This is the method of observing the water dragon.

However, in deciding on the middle of the area one matches a 'gradual rise' to 'look down', which indicates that these are the shallow theories of latter men who mixed everything together and that these do not come from the ancient theories. How can these be considered to be the first observations of DaHong? The only possibility is that the ancient method has not been passed down and that all the records of history consider this method to be the theory of the Form School, is it not?

The method of measuring the land is wholly within discerning the form. Yet the form of a mountain is vexatious. When one climbs to look into the distance from a high place at layer upon layer of ridges, it is difficult to bring the distant closer (to observe it better). Even with a form of water which is clearly manifested upon the land as lakes with twisting and turning for a hundred li, there will still be many considerations of the biased being correct and the pointed, round which will often fool the generation and damage the people.

However, discussion of situations according to books is essentially useless. Only those who have spiritual understanding and who have exhausted themselves in bitter effort can ascend the hall and enter the profound. This is what DaHong in the book often refers to as having knowledge with spirit and, thus, understanding the changes. Moreover, what is of utmost importance in the book is the Three Principals and the Nine Palaces. I had sought the method of the intention of the heavenly principal for several decades and still had not found a good copy until now. So I knew that there was much of the theory of Da Hong that had not been passed down. Da Hong associated mostly with the famous gentlemen of YunJian, Chen and Xia. Among all the books there was nothing that was not pried into by him. The different methods of divination such as GuXu, DunJia, ZhanZhen, and HouQi even down to QiaoGuan and FiCi were all essentially examined.

Moreover, he was also able to disappear and fly away. Therefore, the world speaks of when YuSi arose at ShaoXing he desired to work together with DaHong and securely locked him in a solid room. One evening DaHong disappeared and cavalrymen were sent to the four directions but no trace could be found of him. The meaning here is that DaHong was an intimate friend, a sensible person and a reclusive gentlemen.

Moreover, I have seen The Farewell of Da Hong on his Travelling North, written by Ge Zhi of YuFeng styled WoLong ShanRen who said: "JiangZi is a man of purpose and principle. For the sake of his work he would rather be driven by hunger and cold with the fear of unexpected horrors. He will wade the Huai and Si rivers to pass through Zou and Lu, lingering between Shanggul and Yuyang. Now the Huai and the Si are the rivers where Marquise Han once fished and it is here that he received the mystery book. The kingdoms of Zou and Lu are where the bells and drums of Confucius are still sounding and small evergreen shrubs in Confucius' native place are still thriving. Shanggu and Yuyang are the places where GengYan and WuHan initiated their meritorious achievements. JiangZi will drive his carriage in these areas and will be so touched that he must gain something."

Master Ge's words being like this seem to indicate that Dahong is a person who desires to test his talent and intends to 'throw stones' and `stroke the grass'. This man was certainly unique and so writing books was his spare time activity, and the study of the Form School was a spare time activity of this spare time activity. I have recorded this and wait for the assessment of others.

Cheng Muheng of He city in Qianting recorded this in the twenty fourth year of Qian Long.

SANYUAN+QIMEN+DAGUA  三元+奇門+大卦

FengShui is a term strictly referred to as the art of harnessing ShengQi. Looking at a natal chart and predict where is ShengQi and ShaQi and to decide where to sit and face is not FengShui. This is Divination, the art of divinity based on numerology, imagery and Qi. Its method is far reaching ranging from QiMen SanShi to YiGua and BaZi to the very extend of XuanKong DaGua. Yet, since time immemorial, it is considered as part and parcel of FengShui, formerly called ZhaiBu, the Divination of a House.

Modern practitioner may use both arts in synchronicity. As example, they may do a divination before even attempting to visit the site for an audit. This is by mean of opening up a QiMen or a ZiBai Natal Chart and read the ingredient thereof. From the chart they are able to discern where is the incoming Qi, outgoing Qi, ShaQi and where is the best location to locate the main door, thus establishing siting and facing. This is called remote sensing. The customer would be thrilled by the practitioner's ability of clairvoyance and often mistaken as a living angel. However, this is Not FengShui!

Upon reaching the site, a FengShui practitioner will evaluate the capacity of a site by taking into consideration the macro incoming and outgoing Qi, to establish its Qi maps. The same is applied to the immediate external and follow through towards the compound of the property, so that every layers are consistent to a structure. This is the art of harnessing Qi. The interior of the property is arranged to conform to such structure as to allow Qi to flow unobstructed. The art of harnessing is through the Xue, not one but multiples. SanHe method is employ to where Qi begins. SanYuan method is employ to where Qi ends. They are both complementary and these are genuine FengShui and they are not guess work such as divination.

What if the site conditions contradicted the divination outcome? Which take precedent? This often happen. FengShui method is grounded on specific methodology almost scientific in nature. Divination is by virtue of synchronicity and probability almost guess work. Which do you think is likely to bring result?

Point in discussion...

There is case point worth discussing and it is called XianTian SanYuan QiMen DunJia XuanKong DaGua (XTSYQMDJXKDG) what a mouthful words for a simple term of Early Heaven Three Cycle Mysterious Gate Hiding the Jia Mysterious Void Huge Hexagram. Gosh... Gasping for air pronouncing it.

This method is made popular by the late grandmaster Zheng ZiNan hailed from Taiwan who had lived a ripe age of 100 and had built an empire of wealth for his family. His life is the epitome of a true genuine master who prosper himself before others. When he came to Taiwan, he use the term SanYuan DiLi or SanYuan Earth Study to differentiate himself among the peers. He advocated his technique called XieZiFa and the results driven application has impacted the industry of his time. He is among the pioneer to give warranty for his work, unmatched by others. By self-confession, he never disclose his method to anyone outside his family circle. Yet, as we see today, there are so many "clones".

Some of these clones, learnt the similar art from HongKong, similar is the operative word. The late grandmaster ChenBeiSheng was the torch bearer of XuanKong DaGua he claimed as MiaoPai. He advocated the key in applying XKDG is in QMDJ. Therefore, XTSYQMDJXKDG is XieZiFa. Unfortunately, we don't subscribed to this statement.

There are two arms to this method. One is QMDJ and the other XKDG. QMDJ is the art of the Divination and XKDG is the art of Connecting Qi. So, together it is a complete technique.

Banking on the expansive investment of learning this art, many clones started teaching QMDJ in 4 instalments, namely QMDJ-Divination, QMDJ-Life Reading, QMDJ-FengShui and QMDJ-Strategy. Some clones go as far as teaching QMDJ-witchcraft, QMDJ-art of war, QMDJ-hoccuspoccus and so forth. They denied the fact that fundamentally, they are the same - the art of divination. 

How to connect the dots?

It begins with the understanding of Heaven Earth and Man. Each has its own natal chart. QMDJ-Life Reading will tell you that QMDJ can be used to read your Life like BaZi. It is even better than ZiPing BaZi, the clones called it BaZi+. Based on your solar date and time of birth, a QMDJ chart is constructed. It is supposed to be uniquely You. The natal chart is fixed, but the palaces are dynamic and it reflects your Destiny. When you add another layer of XKDG, you will get the Hexagram, that is specially and uniquely Your Life Hexagram. This natal chart will form the very basis of You and You must never deviate away from the prescription of this chart, otherwise it is bad omen.

After knowing yourself, you must know what is around you. This is where QMDJ-Divination becomes handy. This aspect aligns traditionally as the Hour School QMDJ, where the chart is derived from the Hour. Interpreting the charts differ among schools but its fundamentals are similar – interplay between host and guest to determine the useful god. Failure in doing so will result in a chaotic reading. When you add another layer of XKDG, you will get the simultaneous application of Purple White Hexagram that is the ultimate usage of the Purple White Scroll or ZiBaiJue. The simultaneous application of QMDJ-Divination with Annual and Replacement stars enable forecasting for any event, property, person and others including the ever familiar Eight Mansions techniques.

Knowing what is around you is insignificant if you do not know how to unlock the secret of QMDJ and XKDG. This is where QMDJ-FengShui becomes handy. Besides the ability to perform “desk-top” FengShui or “remote-sensing” audit to a particular site or property, QMDJ-FengShui coupled with XKDG enable you to connect Qi wherever you please. Your ability in FengShui is no longer confined to the physical existence of Qi but to connect to the mystical abode of Qi so provided in QMDJ. Your ability in Qi connection will be transcended beyond merely receiving good incoming and expelling bad outgoing Qi to tapping to your wealthy neighborhood while living in a not so prosperous neighborhood. Turning misfortune into fortune is what probably coined as XieZiFa within a short time span. It is an art of wizardry, hardly anything one has known before.

Unlocking the Secret of QMDJ XKDG is when you plan and execute your plan according to the will of Heaven including date selections that are not confined to only FengShui date selection but everything. The key is Plan and Execute! This is QMDJ-Strategy. When it is applied to War it is the Art of War. When it is applied to getting rich it is the Art of Wealth. It encompasses all the duration of short, medium and long term plans juggling among the Hour, Day and Year School QiMen. This is divination applied to execution par excellent as the saying goes, if you failed to Plan then plan to Fail and you will NEVER FAIL! In our school it goes hand in hand with QiMen LiuRen simultaneous applications.

Not enough? Call in the ‘X-Men’ from another dimensions. This is traditionally termed FaQiMen. It is the art of both the ‘dark’ and the ‘white’ sides. In StarWars terminology, it is the use of the ‘Force’ between the Jedi Masters and the Sith Lords. Goes very well with any Daoist Lineages be it LiuRen ShenGong, MaoShan ShenGong, ZhenYi ShenGong, LvShan ShenGong and all that you can possibly find and it comes in very handy in Ghost Busting, gambling and ‘robbery’. Incantations and Talismans are the tools to summons the ‘X-Men’ to your assistance via QiMen Five Charms Five Ghosts techniques. In our school it goes hand in hand with QiMen LiuRen simultaneous applications.

Afterthought...

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - XKDG Early Heaven 64 Gua 三元玄空先天64卦奇門遁甲

One mistake with regard to QiMenDunJia (QMDJ) date selection is the auspicious date! There is NO auspicious or inauspicious date to begin with. QMDJ hour school is base on the selection of hour to benefit from one situation. It is a sum zero game that require one to take side.
 
If one is the offensive, the QMDJ plate will best tell you the scenario to win. Whereas the defender will see from the plate, where is the situation that require the most defend. There is absolutely no good or bad, but what is appropriate. The entire chart is a scenario telling the plot of both parties.
 
In Taiwan, the simultaneous use of QMDJ with XKDG Early Heaven 64 Gua 三元玄空先天64卦奇門遁甲  was made popular by the late grandmaster Zeng ZiNan. This method advocated the ability of the hexagram to unlock a specific QMDJ portal to achieve YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清.
 
The secrets to this method vested in the way the QMDJ portals are assigned to the 64 hexagram from as simple as assigning via HeTu configuration to a complicated "S" sequence. When this method is properly applied, results will manifest almost immediately with an unfolding phenomenon indicating that the specific portal is indeed open. Some take this as an art to activate XieZiFa 些子法.

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - MingShi PanXian 明師盤線

Insufficient with that, some Taiwanese masters also included the use of Heavenly Star method, TianXing Fa 天星法 based on QiZheng SiYou 七政四餘 or some called QiZheng SanWang 七政三王 to match the actual arrival of the asterism to a sub sector of a hexagram.

Heavenly Star method is the core astrology study of TaiYi ShenShu 太乙神數, one of the SanShiQiMen. It is also the basis of how the SiFenLi or the 4 remaining calendar is derived from. 4 Remaining is another word for intercalary, apt for the intercalary of 64 Hexagram to the 60 JiaZi. By determining the exact of the7 luminaries to the closest minute, one is able to determine the 5 elemental correlation between the asterism with the palace it resides. That will be as close to a Yao within a Hexagram. 

Extended from XKDG YiGua ChunQing, the change of Yao within a specific hexagram is called ChaoYao HuanXiang, changing a Yao to change the imagery of a hexagram. Because the Yao is less than a degree, it is very difficult to ascertain its correct usage and often rendered as nonsense. 

Matching the properties' sitting and facing of the dynamic 7 luminaries within the fixed asterism, it is how the art of TaiYi QiMen applied to XKDG. One school called such as MingShi PanXian 明師盤線 or Great Master Plate Line. The term line denotes the correlation among the 7 luminaries, palaces of the 28 asterism and its subsectors within the 64 Hexagram sitting and facing Yao lines. Come to think of it, the Taiwanese has given it a twist as a rocket science of Chinese Metaphysics. 

What Is A Complete SanYuan SanShi QiMen 三元三式奇門 - HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua 河洛玄機三元六氣奇門遁甲

When a XKDG YiGua ChunQing 一卦純清 has both the supports of QiMen portal with the arrival of TaiYi QiMen 太乙奇门 at the facing, what is lack here is the water method to hold the entire formation together. 

Some Taiwanese masters called these the ZhongTian ShuiFa 中天水法 or the HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua 河洛玄機三元六氣奇門遁甲. The trick here is to enable what is probably called FeiXing RuDou  飛星入斗 or Flying Star entering asterism. The way these 64 Gua arrays are entirely different from XKDG, because they are based on LianShan GuiChang Gua 连山归藏 instead.

While we always thought that LianShan GuiChang were extinct, LianShan is referred to the source Qi of KunLun and GuiChang, the water dragon of HuangHe. Matching both will unlock the secrets of LingZheng principles and determine where SanYuan water mouth should be located. Some called it AiXing Fa, but it is really LiuRen QiMen  六壬奇門 in nature, where the 4 Wei Gua or the ordinal trigrams are the basis of LianShan GuiChang. 

In a 3D formation, it is the ladder that links the underworld, human and heaven together. Although the market driven LungMen BaJu, Dragongate 8 Formations is also called ZhongTian ShuiFa, it is a modified version of the LiuRen QiMen. That is why it will never reflects the true landform consideration to an extend it sounded illogical.

I personally disagree with how these Taiwanese masters tend to gel things together especially so when the source are as doubtful as hearing from grandma's tale. Especially when it is said HeLuo XuanJi SanYuan 64 Gua was discovered from so and so in a cave at Hainan Island. Furthermore, with the aid of computer, SanShi QiMen looks like any western astrology and I believed, if it can be found as any computer softwares, its real truth is somewhere far far away...

No wonder, I was told QMDJ date selections are used to do FengShui, determine auspicious hour and do predictions. OMG!

龍水經小玄空 - LONGSHUIJING XIAO XUANKONG

Master Hung HinCheong did an excellent rendition on this topic Lesser XuanKong 5 Elements 小玄空五行 that he termed, grow-in/counter-in  生入剋入 technique in his book entitled, Water water everywhere. However, this is only one interpretation and may not represents the true method. Herewith are the interpretation of the above method in accordance to Master Hung.
Grow-in Counter-in 生入剋入

In the "4MWM" (四大水局) method there is a secondary technique called the "grow-in/counter-in (生入剋入)" technique.

While the Growth, Prosper and Grave formed the core of the "4MWM" method, the "grow-in/counter-in" technique played a supporting role. Many school chose to ignore "grow-in/counter-in" altogether, yet, "grow-in/ counter-in" was very much an integral part of YangGong's teachings, and should not be discarded.

The "grow-in/counter-in" technique operates on a system of 5-elements called the "Lesser XuanKong 5 Elements (小玄空五行)" ("Lesser XK") that has nothing to do with XuanKong DaGua ("XKDG") pioneered by Master Jiang DaHong (蔣大獅). 

The "Lesser XK" elements were defined by 6 lines in the "Dragon & Water Classic (龍水經)"' such as:-


丙丁乙酉原屬火,乾坤卯午金同坐,
亥癸艮甲是木神,戌庚丑未土為金,
子寅辰巽辛兼巳,申與壬方是水神,

LongShuiJing was later renamed "Green Satchel Preface (青囊序)", but the part about the lesser XK elements somehow was omitted. The rationale for these elements has never been fully explained. Some master tried to explain in terms of Yao transformation (爻變) based on the Earth Plate.

The "Dragon Water Classic" state: 

生入剋入百口成, 生出剋出退人丁

Grow-in Counter-in, people by the hundreds; Grow-out Counter-out, people numbers decline!

YangGong classic, "Green Satchel Oracles (青囊奧)" state: 

生入剋入名為旺, 子孫富貴出高官

Grow-in & Counter-in called prosperous; descendants rich, noble & attain high office

THE METHOD...

Whereas Growth, Prosperous and Grave dictate the flow of water, whether Left turning or Right turning, to determine that, the practitioner is to walk out to the point of intersection between the facing axis and the river, and measure the direction of the incoming flow. 

The "Lesser XK" element of the incoming water is then based on the verse above, based on the Earth Plate. This "Lesser XK" element is then matched with the SanHe frame, based on the Heaven Plate. These are:
艮寅/丙午/辛戍
乾坤/壬子/乙辰
巽已/庚酉/癸丑
乾亥/甲卯/丁未
= Fire
= Water
= Metal
= Wood
If the "Lesser XK" element of the incoming water grows or counters the SanHe frame, then the selected facing is supported by the incoming water. Conversely, if the SanHe frame grows or counters the incoming water element, then the SanHe frame is weakened.

LongShuiJing said nothing about the same elements, but it may be implied that SanHe frame and incoming water having the same element is deemed negative.

Example: Property facing BingWu (丙午), Heaven Plate SanHe Frame is Fire; and the incoming water enters from Xun (巽) on the Earth Plate, hence "Lesser XK" element Water. Water counters Fire, hence the SanHe frame is enhanced by the incoming water.

REFLECTION

In a number of years back, one school has been advocating this method in the purportedly famous Water Dragon Method. The famous "Big Sister" took it and propagated it and the consequences were disastrous.  The problem does not stem from the theory but the applications are entirely wrong! You cannot create Water Dragon within your compound. These are "water lizards" or "Cutting Feet".  It was also learnt that this method has been brought from Taiwan, where one actually measure the water spout of the artificial water features as the incoming Gua within the "river" as specified above. Upon deeper researched from Taiwanese counterparts, it was learnt that such form the fundamental measurements for a SanYuan technique called QianKunGuoBao or LongMenBaDaJu. In this case, the applications are confined to the natural, not artificial. Yet the operative method is not really standalone, but a subset within the orthodox method of YangGong 4 Major Water Mouths (4MWM), very accurate in giving predictive outcomes without even the need of a LuoPan, as the technique itself aligned the observer as a "LuoPan" itself. Further exploration also revealed that it forms the basis of XuanKong DaGua (XKDG). Has such modification embodied within the work of JiangDaHung's Water Dragon Classic, ShuiLongJing? That may be another tale for another day...

TWO CASES IN MIND

古本龍水經 - DRAGON WATER CLASSICS

Dragon Water Classic is, now, known as Ancient Scroll Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经. Being "ancient" we will not be certain as to who wrote the script. Some copy has the first verse, 楊公養老看雌雄, YangGong old age see CiXiong, while others, it simply start with 天下諸書對不同, under Heaven all books are different. On the first assumption, it may have been written by Zheng WenChang 曾文辿, YangGong most senior disciple. Unfortunately, the 7 characters prose, common to the Tang Dynasty literature, are sometimes punctuated by 5, 3, 2 characters prose that pose, such copy may have been "polluted" by others or there are just some missing or illegible characters that has been lost during translation and hand copy from one generation to another. The examples are: -

  4. 三奇貪狼例,
  5. 正馬例,
  6. 祿例,
  7. 借馬例,

Item 3-8 seems to have been sub topic to the method prescribed or annotation made by others. Such does not gel well with the obsession of ancient Chinese inclination towards poem over clarity.  That is one good reason as to why the Old YangGong method lineage (YangGong GuFa) did not subscribe to this literature. COMPARATIVE STUDIES

Reviewing this copy of Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经 and comparing it with QingNanXu 青囊序, there are many areas of inconsistencies namely: -

  1. Some phrases in the Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经 has been cut paste and rearranged in QingNanXu 青囊序. Obviously there are editor who attempted to create a new book out of Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经.
  2. Some phrases has word changed either entirely or partially.
  3. At least 22 new phrases has been substituted in QingNanXu 青囊序 not found in Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经.
  4. A huge segments of Dragon Water Classic 古本龙水经 are omitted in QingNanXu 青囊序 particularly on a method called  小玄空. Most likely Jiang DaHung 蔣大鴻  is believed to had coined 大玄空 from here and use its application as well. He also based on the water method 水经 with a dash of his imagination crafted another title called Water Dragon Classics 水龙经.

太古河圖代姓紀 - LIENSHAN 连山 CHRONICLES

The term LienShan 連山 may have been originated from the period of LienBu 連逋. Based on the evolution of ancient Chinese civilization, there is a period called the chronicles of LienBu (連逋). LienBu (連逋) comprises of 2 words one known as Lien 連 meaning "to come together" while the other means Bu 逋, meaning is "to flee". It is a period where the combination of 3 huge clans are separated into 4 clans caused by population growth within the scarcity of natural resources. Within these 4 clans, fighting for survival are very common thus power struggles gave rise to clan’s wars. A good reflections of the Saga among the Chinese "Titans" predating ChiYou, ShenNong and HuangDi, more likely FuXi, NuWa, GongGong and ShuiShen.

If you Google the history of China, you will be greeted by the fact that The Yellow River is said to be the cradle of Chinese civilization. The known Xia Dynasty 夏朝 is believed to be the known first dynasty of China. LienBu (連逋) is way before the first Dynasty of China. It may also predates HuangDi, ShengNong and ChiYou. 

Within its chronicles, it is recorded the Supreme Ancient HeTu Lineage  太古河圖代姓.

Supreme Beginning (太始) is born out of the Primal Chaos (混沌) singularity, to form the Original Fetus (元胎) which is the Supreme Ultimate (太極). It is the Heaven and Earth (天地) or the father and mother (父母) to the Supreme Yi (太易). Supreme Yi (太易) is never constant and ever changing. Such movement give rise to the Two Slices (兩儀) of YinYang (陰陽). Its dynamism is creation called the Supreme First (太初) who in return generates the 4 imageries (四象). These 4 imageries (四象) are HeTu (河圖) that is also called  the Supreme Essence (太素) of all creations, notably Heaven, Man and Earth Three Talents (三才). Human's existence between Heaven above and Earth below are the chronicles of its lineage called Supreme Ancient (太古) where the maternal lineage are the order.

THE CHINESE (華夏) THEORY OF EVOLUTION (太一生水)

The Supreme Ancient HeTu Lineage 太古河圖代姓 is very close to the description of The Ultimate One gives birth to water, water in return assisting the Ultimate One 太一生水,水反辅太一.
A recent rendition of the “Origin of Life” by Dato Dr. Victor Wee was inspiring. The opening premise such as: -
"Inconceivable is the beginning, O disciples, of this faring on. The earliest point is not revealed of the running on, the faring on, of beings, cloaked in ignorance, tied by craving” - Samyutta Nikaya (Buddhist Cannon)."

What it suggests, do not bother to ask what is the origin of life as it will not be understood by those who is bound by ignorance and craving. Therefore, the Chinese simply called it the Ultimate One (太一), without the necessary to define what constitute the One.

Implying that the One, may have arisen from the “First Cause”, it is the so called God created everything. The idea of the almighty God, is strangely, spur provocative philosophical discourse by non other then the maverick, Sir Bertrand Russell in his controversial book, “Why I am NOT a Christian”. He questioned, if God is responsible for the creation of everything, then by the same implication, God must have its own creator. In a nutshell, there is a first of the First Cause ad-infinitum.

The Chinese implied that the One as nothing more than a line (At least that is the pictogram of the Chinese character One), it also implies that the One is a line connecting all the “First Causes”. The idea of connection implies movement, as a stroke of a brush. So, the ultimate stroke is the First Cause. Scientist believes that such stroke represents another controversial idea, the “Big Bang”. The aftermath of such created water. The Chinese theory of Evolution begins with this phrase, The Ultimate One gives birth to water, water in return assisting the Ultimate One (太一生水,水反辅太一) .

The Ultimate One gives birth to water Scripts is believed to be written about 300 BC during the Warring States period on 14 bamboo strips in the Chu script. It was discovered in 1993 in Hubei, Jingmen. It is part of the Guodian Chu Slips (郭店楚簡). Thus, it became the fundamental doctrines for the Daoist art of cause and effects.

If there is a cause, there must be an effect. Water is the effect. The Greek Mythology stated that the world is created by Oceanus (son of Uranus and Gaia) and the Greeks must have a reason to believe in that. From water, the Chinese believes that The Ultimate One gives birth to water, water in return assisting the Ultimate One, therefore establishing Heaven, in return establishing Earth (太一生水,水反辅太一,是以成天. 天反辅太一,是以成地.). At this point, 2 new ideas emerged, Heaven and Earth. It was also said, the Chinese folklore has the Giant PanGu (盤古) separating Heaven and Earth, within his anatomy, landforms were shaped and rivers were excavated. Very strange that the Chinese paints his personification as a Giant similar to the Greek mythology, Titan race of Giant Atlas. More strange is in his given name PanGu (盤古) denoting “ancient plate”.

This “plate” is referring to the Milkyway Galaxy, as modern sciences revealed it to be a resemblance of a Disc! From one point it resemble a circle, the Chinese called, the Ultimate (太), while from another angle, a slim shape Disc in the form of One (一). The noble act of the Giant PanGu (盤古) separating Heaven and Earth, marks the beginning of evolution sometimes called, Heaven and Earth fixed position (天地定位). As he decomposed, his flesh and blood turn to mountains and streams which are also known as Mountain and Stream same Qi (山泽通气), so on so forth. The script TaiYi Sheng Shui states, Heaven and Earth, assisting thus, therefore establishing Gods (spiritual enlightenment), in return establishing YinYang (Duality) (天地复相辅也,是以成神明. 神明复相辅也,是以成阴阳.).

Again, the term ShenMing (神明) is rather sketchy. This term has 2 compound words. Shen (神) can mean spirit, gods or unknown forces. Ming (明) comprising sun and moon denoting enlightenment, wisdom or knowing. When both words are conjoined, it has multiple meanings but in this context it simply denotes the seeds of human evolution. The Chinese folklore continues to say, Nuwa (女媧) created humans from the mud of the Yellow River, therefore the Chinese has a yellowish skin texture. Strange similarity from the Book of Genesis, Adam is made from earth of Eden and Eve is part of Adam, personification of the mother Earth as a goddess, in this case, half human half serpent forms liked the Greek Mythology, Medusa. 

Another idea of ShenMing (神明) borrowed from the notion that states, if there is a beginning, there must be an end. If Big Bang is construed as a beginning, Big Crunch is the end. Upon the ending of the world system, lives on Earth parishes and on the other hand reborn as spiritual entities ShenMing (神明). The world system evolved to regenerate itself and when the conditions are met, such as Fire and Water does not shoot each other (水火不相射), these entities which have no gender, live within the water. When the surface of the water is exposed to the heat of the sun and coldness of the night, a crust is formed and became the sustenance of these spiritual entities. With the constant consumption, these entities take forms of single cell organism, manifesting as crude beings on a new world. This is the beginning of life. 

The scripts continue to say, YinYang (Duality), assisting thus, therefore establishing the four seasons, in return establishing cold and warmth. Cold and warmth, assisting thus, therefore establishing wet and dry, in return establishing birth and dead (阴阳复相辅也,是以成四时. 四时复相辅也,是以成凔热. 凔热复相辅也,是以成湿燥. 湿燥复相辅也,成岁而止.), so on and so forth. The ending words, in return establishing birth and dead (成岁而止) has multiple implications. First, the word Sui (岁) means age and Zhi (止) means stop. Compounding bring forth the idea of life and death. The order of things is nothing more than a complete cycle of growth phases rather than the misconstrued productive or weakening cycles. 
Saying thus, it laid the foundation of HeTu.

In HeTu, the Odd number forms a Yang enclosure. While the other Even number forms another Yin enclosure. This enclosure establishes the left or the right turning cycles. 

Why must Yang takes left to right and Yin takes right to left? A matter of coriolis effects? 

Perhaps, in the Northern Hemisphere, the compass is pointing South and an adjustment must be made while in the Southern Hemisphere instead, as the compass ought to have pointed North! All our known SanYuan theory must have been reversed and screwed up for the reference point is always in the context of the Northern Hemisphere... OMG! Is that why the application goes so wrong?

This perhaps is the most confused lots in the Chinese astronomy pertaining to the HeTu principle applied in FengShui resulting in among others, why even XKFX stars fly forward, odd XKFX stars fly backward? Why counts from the left first and not the right? Why XKDG uses the outer plate and not the inner one?

Third generation, the clans has yet to be united with its descendants’ history proclaimed in narration. Thus recorded are the 4 clans.

The age old Supreme Yi, by itself thereafter transcend the clans and used to name names and to build shelter yet to induce spirituality. Teaching people to cook before eating. Light up wood to build fire. These are the spiritual aspect all under heaven. When happened changes and be handed over one generation after another, people are able to lead (govern).


The age old Supreme Yi, by itself thereafter. FuXi 伏羲 reckoned, whoever rises the wind and stating the names, the armored soldiers’ eight mighty seventh accomplishments, and thirty two Yi straw wood (could also mean 32 days of transformation in that area). Straw (day) give rise to month (moon), rain controls day (sun), river floats hour, Dragon Horse holds emblem (HeTu). Enclose and distinguish the 5 colors. Literary opens the 5 Yi, the image of Jia (armored elephant) embraced mountain (piled up liked a mountain).

山海经 - THE SHORT TALE OF SHANHAI JING

ShanHaiJing  山海经, comprises of 2 scrolls. One is ShanJing, Mountain Classics 山经, the other, HaiJing  海经, Ocean Classics. Together it is called the Mountain and Ocean Classics. Indeed, this is the earliest Science Fiction book of the Chinese civilization. Yet, SiMa Qian 司馬遷, took it as a basis for his Record of the Historian. 

The early history of Chinese civilizations are all legendary. This book acknowledged the existence of Titans, believed to have been a cross between super Aliens and Dinosaurs. Characters liked, PanGu 盘古, ShenNong 神農, NuWa 女娲, FuXi 伏羲, HuangDi 皇帝, ChiYou 蚩尤, XingTian 刑天, XuanNu 玄女, GongGong 共工 and a whole lot more are non human, super beings who has the most advanced knowledge of the stars and the Galaxy utilizing the most advanced vehicles propelled by nuclear energy. The first recorded battle of Zhoulu  涿鹿之战 is an epic proportion of nuclear warfare. But why are the Titans fighting among themselves but to conquer the very natural resources of planet Earth - Plutonium and Uranium. Coincidentally, HuangDi won over ChiYou, not otherwise, all the Chinese would have been a generation of a cross between a Bull and a Reptile with Green Skin and not Yellowish as what is seen today. 
In brief, the gynecology of the Chinese begin with a the genesis of PanGu separating Heaven and Earth. That is the first stage of YinYang. He passes on as a transformation of mountains and water with his Axe as the universal pillar of Heaven and Earth - most likely an inter dimensional wormhole portal, Zhou Mountain 周山. 
NuWa succeeded PanGu to create human beings out of the clay of the yellow river. Then a saga of epic proportion between the Fire God and Water God GongGong erupted from another dimensions. Defeating, GongGong ramp over the pillar of Heaven and Earth, causing the Heaven to tilt and a wormhole punctured across the Heavenly and Earthly realm. Chaos of an epic magnitude forced NuWa to mend the wormhole with Uranium stones. FuXi witnessed the entire episodes and mastered the universal code of Heaven called LianShan 连山Gua. He married the Titan NuWa and lead his tribe called the generation of HeTu. 
The tribe grew and one begets two, two begets three. Out of scarcity of natural resources - uranium, these tribes fought  among themselves. Three tribes lead by ChiYou, YanDi ShenNong and HuangDi stood out as the primary. They built megalomaniac societies and each with their very own code of Heaven. ShenNong created the GuiChang 归藏 Gua while HuangDi has his QianKun 乾坤 Gua. ChiYou clan was the most dominant enclaving both ShenNong and HuangDi, resulted in both of the inferior clans merged. The result is the battle of ZhouLu, an epic proportion saga displaying the most advanced nuclear warfare.
Such nuclear warfare of epic proportions almost wiped off human kind from this planet. HuangDi in despaired seek help from the other dimensions. Came XuanNu from the Nine Heaven to his rescue. HuangDi managed to channel huge meteorite to smack upon ChiYou's armies, mainly dinosaurs and wiped out the entire species of monsters from the Earth surface. In victory, HuangDi's tribe established the so called first dynasty of China, the Xia Dynasty. But that is not the only battle. ChiYou's successor XingTian also battled with HuangDi's clan and so forth. He was said to have been transported back to Heaven via the wormhole.
Ice age followed next. Most of the Titan by now, either extinct or hidden in the deep, left only humans to mend their own business. Before proceeding any further, it is better to understand the Geography of ShanHaiJing. It is said, China is engulfed by Seas from all sides. The Yellow River begins in KunLun mountain, but there is no such mountain to begin with. China has no seas over the north and the western region. Where is the Western and the Southern Sea came from? So, you don't need to be an intelligent person to guess ShanHaiJing is wronged!
Unfortunately, ShanHaiJing must not be viewed as the given current geography. It predates the current Euro Asia mass plate we understood, as a result of a platonic shift. The ancient mass plate of Laurasia is seen having seas at both the northern and western regions as well as the commonly known eastern and southern seas. This continent is actually an island. China is an island then. So, ShanHaiJing is unfortunately correct. Himalaya was once underwater.
At the brink of the end of the ice age, the clans grouped together and through the knowledge handed down by HuangDi, they knew a natural disaster is on the way - the Great Flood. To avoid the calamity the clan masterminded a two prone strategy. They appointed Gun 鯀 to execute it. He sought out a hidden Titan by the name of HouTu 后土and he was given a special mix 息壤that enable mountain to rise almost immediately. This substance is none other then nuclear bomb that can piled up earth from deep underground just liked lava that will cool off and formed crust. The objective is to divert water from flowing to the north and force the western water to flow south instead. 

The Great Flood happened in a sudden due to the shift of the Himalayan platonic mass risen almost suddenly creating the roof of the world. Gun executed his plan with the atomic bomb, flatten the entire Tibetan plateau forcing the water to flow South. Yu 大禹, his son was appointed to take over his father's role. Yu did not make miracle. He has been taught the second tier of the strategy, that is to widen the rivers that had already been flowing south. This is via a map now known as the River Luo Book, LuoShu. Widening rivers did not result in massive lost of lives. Instead, he became national hero and inherited the Throne from the Emperor to became YuDi the Great. 

This is also known as inheriting the throne not through hereditary but to the worthy one. Unfortunately, Yu successors were despot and subsequently replaced by the notion of the Mandate of Heaven, the very tale of FengShen YanYi 封神演義, the making of the Gods and Deities.  That we leave it for another time.
