YUAN GUA  元卦

Learnt that in Australia there is a revival of another form of SanYuan method. This is called YuanGua 元卦 method. Claimed to have been from the pedigree of GanZhou under the lineage of Liu JingDong, one of the first generation of disciple of Yang YunSong. For more historical account of him, read ‘here’. What is interesting of the claim from this lineage is, they are the only ‘family’ that is allowed to teach the ‘genuine YangGong’ FengShui method to outsiders. Very ‘fishy claim’. The other interesting part of the story is, the ‘transmission of knowledge’ was intact since the ‘cultural revolution’. A good point to ponder, as to how much has really left? Anyway, the ‘lineage holder’ is only allowed to teach the first of three parts within the entire knowledge for mass consumption.
It was said that YuanGua 元卦 provides:
  1. Ten methods to acquired health 丁, wealth 財 and nobility 貴;
  2. Six avoidance of poor 貧, lonesome 單 and extinct 絕;
  3. The real and fake Eight Killing 八煞黃泉;and
  4. Many more… i.e. landform prediction 形
In a nutshell, YuanGua 元卦 revert to the ‘basic’ thus the Yuan元, supposing minus the ‘complication’. Let’s look at two aspects:

Picture
Picture

FORM 形

YuanGua 元卦 pays heavy emphasis on water mouth 水口, instead of dragon 龍.So far this is ‘agreeable’ compared to the ‘mass consumption knowledge’ of SanHe. When the period is ‘prosper’ and the prosperous ‘star’ is in the water mouth sector, the entire area will not be prosperous. This is because the prosperity is being ‘flushed out’. YuanGua 元卦 measures period based on the LoShu 洛書內丹盤. Quoting instances as in Melbourne, during period 2 there was a massive depression. In Sydney, during period 4 almost the same time the Sydney Opera House was built, another massive depression hit Sydney. Unfortunately this is not always true, for other cases. You can always do a ‘reverse engineering’ to proof this point.

Picture

QI 氣

YuanGua 元卦 pays heavy emphasis of immediate landform to Eight Killing 八煞黃泉. This method has been prescribed ‘here’. The only catch here is, YuanGua 元卦 defines, ‘fake’ and ‘real’ Eight Killing 八煞黃泉. This is ‘real’ Eight Killing 八煞黃泉 when conform will ‘screw up your FengShui’ big time, either in health 丁 via Eight Killing 八煞 or in wealth 財 via Yellow Spring 黃泉.There is an undisclosed way of determining this but in landform 形 itself it is very easy to strike this unlucky formation, especially in ‘terrace houses’.

To illustrate this point, Eight Killing 八煞黃泉 will be activated once water is incoming 45 degree of your main gate relative to your main door. In normal situation, it will always be either to the left 龍 or the right side 虎.  The chances are 50-50. If you strike the ‘real’, too bad. If you strike the ‘fake’, congratulations!
So, what are the ‘fake’ Eight Killing 八煞黃泉?

SIMA WATER METHOD 司马水法

YuanGua 元卦 borrows from SiMa the Monk Water Method 司马头陀水法:
辛入乾宮百萬莊,
巽山兼巳便為上;
癸位艮上發文章,
丁山兼午喜氣洋;
乙向巽流清富貴,
兼卯為吉主禎祥;
丁坤終是萬斯箱,
癸子同坐大吉昌。
甲向艮朝科第早,
三元地理兼酉卯;
庚喜坤流产英豪,
甲山兼卯须记牢;
丙向巽来多富贵,
壬子同用最重要;
壬遇干宫出官僚,
山家正用元理高。
Xin incoming into Qian brings million dwellings,
Xun Mountain skewed Si is the best;
Gui incoming into Gen sector produces good literary works,
Ding Mountain skewed Wu good tiding Qi is prosperous;
Yi facing, Xun Water riches abundant,
Skewed Mao auspicious tidings to the host;
Ding Facing, Kun incoming water creates ten thousand crates,
Gui Zi same seating great auspices;
Jia Facing Gen incoming water obtains good academic achievement,
SanYuan earth principles skewed You Mao;
Gen facing, Kun water produces Heroes,
Jia Mountain skewed Mao must kept in mind;
Bing Facing, Xun coming water brings nobility,
Ren Zi together use are the upmost crucial;
Ren facing Meets Qian water produces officers,
Mountain School [Landform School] correctly applied to the ‘period’ is the highest ‘formula approach’.

CRITIQUES

Is kind of a cool, to belong to a lineage. There are plenty of lineages for sales in GanZhou, GuangXi. You take a stone and throw, almost anybody got hit is a lineage holder of GuangXi YangGong FengShui especially central within the descendants of Yang楊, Zheng曾, Liao廖 and Liu劉. This is where people says, abusing lineage rocks become lineage sucks!

The Liu劉 method has been largely available in the masses covering all the ‘popular theories’ from the Taiwanese styles SanHe to the HonKee styled QMDJ. The YangGong ‘old method’ school prescribed that these were watered down methodologies.

The late LDX has a point, especially when you reworked the YangGong methods against the Eight Killing 八煞黃泉, one will notice that when YangGong methods are in place, Eight Killing has been automatically taken care of. SiMa Water Method 司马头陀水法 is only an extension to the YangGong methods.

OLD FOX'S TALE...

Picture
We posted in our FB page, detail HERE and we found that not many people knows about SanYuan...

Therefore, This is the FIRST TIME the secret of the HEAVEN YUAN PLATE has been disclosed to the public within the English Speaking community. Never has this secret been revealed! In time to come, if any of the teacher teaching this piece of information and they are not coming from our establishment, you know well that the knowledge that they acquired are secondary and less authentic. Truly, there are too many rubbish floating around in disguise as genuine FengShui courses. Buyers beware!

One OldFox has this to say, “To answer your question posted at the beginning of this thread, the original SanYuan YinYang is the one on the right, the B version, because the YinYang allocation is based on the YinYang of the SanYuan of the Tian Yuan, Di Yuan and Ren Yuan. The version on the left, the A version, was promoted by Master Shen JuReng used in his Flying Star and it is based on the YinYang of the Stems and Branches plus the four diagonal Trigams of the LH arrangement being all Yang according to the Hetu arrangement.  They are two different ways to express the same philosophical idea of ‘Early Heaven being the Ti or the Principle and Later Heaven being the Yong or the Application 先天为体, 后天为用. IMHO, to really appreciate the different Yin YangYang and Yang YinYin configurations, one has to realize that the different FengShui methods, and there are many, are the result of different ways to express a philosophical preference 'mechanically', to say that 'ShenJuReng's postulation is not quite there yet', shows you and David have yet to reach this point of understanding, but this is just my personal opinion, no offence is intended. May be you do know but want to keep it as a secret until we can attend your classes to find out, or maybe you and David just want to tease us! Either way it is a good thing, it keeps us thinking. Thank you for your contribution… Where are the 3 rings of the SanHe and SanYuan LuoPan? There you go again, 'the pot calling the kettle black' ´by JT the Just Teasing, who is really David Yak the architect with a fake name. Only the SanHe LuoPan has the 3 Twenty-four-Mountain rings, SanYuan LuoPan only has one and the 3 SanYuan are built into the one ring, you will only waste your time looking for the other two rings in a San Yuan LuoPan. Get YOUR fundamentals right before you tell others to get theirs right! Indeed, there are plenty of craps being taught out there...”
Picture

EH AS PRINCIPLE LH AS APPLICATION 先天为体后天为用

Let’s investigate these craps a little…

The original version of SanYuan’s YinYang Dragon is not the B version. It is definitely not based on Tian Yuan, Di Yuan and Ren Yuan. These came very much later. They have another meanings to them. The A version is the original SanYuan’s YinYang Dragon. This is the Tian Yuan Dragon and its YinYang is derived from the LoShu, Early Heaven as the body or the Principle, 先天为体. Shen JuReng derived such as his basis for Shen’s Flying Star and it is based on the YinYang of the Stems and Branches plus the four diagonal Trigams of the LH arrangement being all Yang according to the Hetu arrangement (detail read HERE). This is a typical text-book answer.
Picture

ONE GUA CONNECTS QI NAJIA ONE QI  一挂同氣納甲一氣.

Similar to its SanHe forerunner, SanYuan has its peculiar way to subscribe to Early Heaven as the body or the Principle and Later Heaven as the Application, 先天为体, 后天为用. Both SanHe and SanYuan subscribed to the same method of decoding Heaven’s secret called NaJia. SanHe is well known to adopt what is known as One Gua same/combine Qi, NaJia singular Qi, 一挂同氣納甲一氣. One Gua here referred to Early Heaven Qi connection to formulate their YinYang dragon, detail read HERE. Therefore, it has mislead many that SanHe NaJia is based on Early Heaven as Principle.
Picture

HEAVEN YUAN NAJIA PLATE 天元纳甲盘

SanYuan subscribed to NaJia to allocate the 8 Gua into the 24 mountains. Instead of using One Gua same/combine Qi, NaJia singular Qi, 一挂同氣納甲一氣 principle liked its predecessor, SanYuan uses LoShu matching the Later Heaven BaGua as Application, 后天为用. Therefore, these sets of the 9 stars (comprising the LaterHeaven BaGua) form what is probably known as 天元纳甲盘. Each star is repeated 4 or 2 times forming 6 mountain groups within the 24 mountains such as the followings: -

1 - 子辰申癸, 6 - 甲乾, water
2 - 乙坤, 7 - 酉丑丁巳, fire
3 - 卯未亥庚, 8 - 艮丙 wood
4 - 辛巽, 9 - 午戌寅亥 metal

With each of the 4 elements balanced, these form the original SanYuan 9 stars ring within the 24 mountains. Again, you will notice that it is the LoShu matching the Later Heaven BaGua to derive NaJia as Application, 后天为用 and not the LoShu matching Early Heaven BaGua as the body or the Principle, 先天为体. Saying thus in application, the HeTu GuaQi is still accounted for.
Picture

EARTH YUAN PLATE 地元盘

We recap, from this version A we derived the NaJia 9 stars ring 天元纳甲盘. There is also a subsequent Earth Yuan Plate 地元盘, that we shall not disclose. From here, the next layer, we shall discuss about the different Yin YangYang and Yang YinYin configurations that form the so called modern SanYuan earth plate 24 YinYang Dragon 三元盘阴阳龙 as shown in version B (we shall discuss about it in detail some other time).

SANYUAN 3 NEEDLES 三元三盘

One SanYuan school advocated that there are 3 needles in the SanYuan LuoPan just liked its counterpart SanHe. These needles are the Heaven Human and Earth needles. They are meant to measure different things. As mentioned above, the original SanYuan YinYang Dragon is called the Heaven Needle as in version A while the contemporary SanYuan YinYang Dragon is called the Human Needle as in version B. What is absent is known as the Earth Needle. Without knowing this Earth needle, one will not able to measure earth Qi, thus not able to do FengShui… This SanYuan School in particular reckoned that the current known SanYuan earth plate 24 YinYang Dragon 三元盘阴阳龙 is not really the earth plate but the HUMAN plate instead…

OLD FOX SEE OLD FOX DO...

So, when OldFox says, “May be you do know but want to keep it as a secret until we can attend your classes to find out, or maybe you and David just want to tease us!”, reflects truly that the OldFox knows nuts about this subject, especially true when he says, “Only the SanHe LuoPan has the 3 Twenty-four-Mountain rings, SanYuan LuoPan only has one and the 3 SanYuan are built into the one ring…”. As it is OldFox needs to - “Get YOUR fundamentals right before you tell others to get theirs right! Indeed, there are plenty of craps being taught out there...”

As for the other friend from Indonesia, you will be glad to hear that SanYuan people also advocated LoShu matching the Later Heaven BaGua to derive NaJia as Application, 后天为用 but it is used in other unique ways.

SANYUAN YUANKONG GEOMANCY 三元元空風水

Picture
Picture
SanYuan is a school heavily annexed to the system of calendric sciences one being known as SanYuan QiMen DunJia 三元奇门遁甲. As time passes, the authentic art of SYQMDJ has been watered down. With the emergence of master liked Jiang DaHung notably bastardizing the work of grandmaster Yang YunSong as in DiLi BianZhen, XuanKong DaGua 玄空大卦 emerged to replace SanYuan DaGua 三元大卦. At one level, SanYuan is able to merge with SanHe. SanHe has remained to be the fore runner of YangGong method. All FengShui methods come from Qing WuZi before GuoPu and subsequently Yang YunSong. There is only one method – YangGong method or probably known also as GanZhou method. Subsequently, splinter group forms and SanYuan school was born and probably known also as FuJian method. SanYuan school is developed upon SanHe theories and at certain level, it merges.

三元挨星法 SANYUAN LEANING STAR – DISCLOSURE 2

TAKE NOTICE!

This is the FIRST TIME the secret of how the LOSHU SPINS has been disclosed to the public within the English Speaking community.

LEANING STAR - THE STATIC PLATE

The static plate of Leaning Star comprising of the commonly known forward cycle and reverse cycle. The forward cycle starts from the Center 5 and continue with the sequence 6789 and follow by 1234. The illustration shown here is the forward cycle.

The reverse cycle starts from the Center 5 and take a reverse path with the sequence 4321 and follow by 9876. It is a reverse flow as shown by the following diagram.

Shen JuReng took this as his basis for Flying Star ie. odd Yang fly forward, even Yin fly reverse. Yin or Yang follows the YinYang Yang or YangYin Yin of the 24 mountains SanYuan One Ring LuoPan.

However, this is only the XuanKong method not SanYuan.

LEANING STAR - THE DYNAMIC PLATE

There is a SanYuan method for the Dynamic Plate. We called it dynamic because the 1st path that the star lean differed and not static. If you look carefully to the static plate reverse cycle, you will eventually realised that the 1st path of the star lean takes a total opposite of the 1st path the static plate forward cycle. As a result it looks as though the star leans backward like 5 4321 9876. But no. It is still a forward cycle with a different path of commencement.

It means to say, the first path that the central star leans can eventually be any of the 8 palaces within the LoShu grid and not necessarily Northwest. So, given the 8 directions, you will have 8 sets of Leaning Star as your natal chart. This is a SanYuan method of Leaning Star.

SanYuan And The 24 Mountains

The 24 Mountains take reference from the 8 Trigrams for their 8 Directions. Each section comprises of Heaven, Earth and Human Yuan. Each Gua controls 3 mountains, each mountain refers to each Yuan. The middle mountain is the Heaven Yuan, the mountain before is the Earth Yuan, the mountain after is the Human Yuan. Using Kan Palace as example, Zi is the Heaven Yuan, Ren is the Earth Yuan, Gui is the Human Yuan. SanYuan in relations to the 24 Mountains:
Kan: Earth Yuan—Ren, Heaven Yuan—Zi, Human Yuan—Gui
Gen: Earth Yuan—Chou, Heaven Yuan—Gen, Human Yuan—Yin
Zhen: Earth Yuan—Jia, Heaven Yuan—Mao, Human Yuan—Yi
Xun: Earth Yuan—Chen, Heaven Yuan—Xun, Human Yuan—Si
Li: Earth Yuan—Bing, Heaven Yuan—Wu, Human Yuan—Ding
Kun: Earth Yuan—Wei, Heaven Yuan—Kun, Human Yuan—Shen
Dui: Earth Yuan—Geng, Heaven Yuan—You, Human Yuan—Xin
Qian: Earth Yuan—Xu, Heaven Yuan—Qian, Human Yuan—Hai

SanYuan 24 Mountains YinYang Plate

There is YinYang grouping of the 24 Mountains, taking reference from the 4 Cardinal Gua and the 4 Ordinal Gua, the different grouping of the 24 Mountains is as follows:
  1. 4 Cardinal Gua’ Heaven Yuan, consist of Zi, Wu, Mao, You, belongs to Yin.
  2. 4 Ordinal Gua’ Heaven Yuan, consist of Qian, Xun, Gen, Kun, belongs to Yang.
  3. 4 Cardinal Gua’ Earth Yuan, consist of Ren, Bing, Jia, Geng, belongs to Yang.
  4. 4 Ordinal Gua’ Earth Yuan, consist of Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, belongs to Yin.
  5. 4 Cardinal Gua’ Human Yuan, consist of Gui, Ding, Yi, Xin, belongs to Yin.
  6. 4 Ordinal Gua’ Human Yuan, consist of Yin, Shen, Si, Hai, belongs to Yang.

Qian, Xun, Gen, Kun, Yin, Shen, Si, Hai, Ren, Bing, Jia, Geng is Yang,
Zi, Wu, Mao, You, Chen, Xu, Chou, Wei, Gui, Ding, Yi, Xin is Yin.

Commentary:

The above description is commonly found in Google. It defines in face value the 24 mountains of the SanYuan Earth Plate. More important it can be grouped and defined with its respective YinYang as the followings: -
地元龙—丑辰未戌山,
壬甲丙庚山 。

天元龙—子卯午酉山,
艮巽坤乾山。

人元龙—癸乙丁辛山,
寅巳申亥山。
Earth Yuan Dragon - Chou, Chen, Wei, Xu (4 Graves),
Ren, Jia, Bing, Geng (4 Yang Stems)

Heaven Yuan Dragon - Zi, Mao, Wu, You (4 Baths),
Gen, Xun, Kun, Qian (4 Ordinal Gua)

Human Yuan Dragon - Gui, Yi, Ding, Xin (4 Yin Gua),
Yin, Si, Shen, Hai (4 Stables)

4 Graves, 4 Baths and 4 Stables are referred to the 12 growth phases. Stables are referred to Sickness or the Horse positions. The 4 Yang Stems and 4 Yin Stems together with the 4 Ordinal Gua complete the 24 mountains.

FENGSHUI BASICS - YINYANG OF THE SANYUAN 24 MOUNTAINS
(according to Shen JuRen 沈竹礽 postulation)

Sometime back in YiFengshui since 2012 ...

… After all the heavy weights, let us come back to FengShui 101.

There are a few good books in English explaining about LuoPan, including the Compendium. However, it never dwell deep into the origin of YinYang of the 24 mountain plate of the so called, SanYuan LuoPan. It only prescribed that 24 mountain is further categorized into Heaven, Man and Earth subsector or Yuan Dragon in the manner of Yin-Yang-Yang or Yang-Yin-Yin configurations. Thereafter… nothing mentioned. To the ONE RING masters, especially from the Flying Star School, these Yin-Yang-Yang or Yang-Yang-Yin configurations are how the 9 stars “fly” forward or backward in the LoShu chart. Beyond that… nothing mentioned. So, before one worries about 明师盘线, loosely translated as Great Master’s LuoPan Line, emmm… what say if one try to find out, why do of the so called, SanYuan LuoPan has the YinYang configuration such as this?

Apparently the compendium of LuoPan is incomplete without the explanation as to where does the YinYang of the 24 mountains of the SanYuan LuoPan originated. We take for granted that it is always there in that fashion. How the PurpleWhite stars fly are all depends on its YinYang. That is already inaccurate. The Chinese source has more details. One common source is from the Shen's Classic (Shen JuRen 沈竹礽) stipulates that: -

All the Yang stems are Heaven numbers for example, HeTu heavenly number 1 takes Ren water Qi and therefore Yang in nature. Earthly 6 takes Gui water Qi and therefore Yin by nature. By the same token, Yin stems are Earth numbers and assigned Yin nature. Therefore, Jia Bing Geng Xin are all Heavenly Numbers Odd Yang in nature. Yi Ding Xin Gui are all Earthly Numbers Even Yin in nature. The same classic stipulates that all the Ordinal Trigrams namely Xun, Qian, Kun and Gen are all Yang in nature. The principle is annexed to the LoShu. Within the LoShu, there are HeTu. The ordinals take the following sequence:

Qian (6) and 1-6 HeTu water, 1+6=7, Odd number Yang nature.
Xun (4) and 9-4 HeTu metal, 9+4=13, Odd number Yang nature.
Kun (2) and 7-2 HeTu fire, 7+2=9, Odd number Yang nature.
Gen (8) and 3-8 HeTu wood, 3+8=11, Odd number Yang nature.

The branches are classify under the following groups:
  1. The stable, Yin Si Shen Hai are the 4 beginning of every season. Their main Qi are respectively, Jia Bing Geng and Ren, the sub Qi are respectively Bing Geng Ren Jia with Wu in all the stables. These are all Yang stems. When each of the main Qi and sub Qi added up for each stables, it does not form combination of 10. Therefore they are Yang in nature.
  2. The cardinals, Mao Wu You Zi are the middle of every season. Their main Qi are Yi Ding Xin and Gui respectively. All Yin stems. They forms combination of 10. Therefore they are Yin in nature.
  3. The graveyards, Chen Wei Xu Chou are the end of every season. Their main Qi are either Wu or Ji earth. However their sub Qi are all Yin stems and therefore by virtue the graveyards are Yin in nature for its sub Qi are combination of 10 respectively.

Such is believed to have been the reasons behind the YinYang classification for the 24 mountain in the SanYuan Luopan. in reality, if you believe this is the true reason, your SanYuan applications are incomplete. Fact, YinYang does not stem from pure numerical permutations. They are the reflections of Heaven Man and Earth. Knowing thus you will understand what a SanYuan LuoPan is designed to measure. Without a throughout understanding of such, all the other Hexagram plates are nothing more then pure decorations.

TAKE NOTICE!

This is the FIRST TIME the secret of TaiJi Tu has been disclosed to the public within the English Speaking community.

WHICH IS YOUR TAIJI 太极?

After SanHe now the SanYuan craze is on... but before we dwell into the subject of SanYuan, there are many confused FengShui teachers, self proclaimed grandmasters, con masters of Bolehland, practitioners and so forth do not even know how their YinYang turns. These confused lots do not know which Taiji belongs to the art of FengShui, Daoism or even the most common - YiJing. Most took for granted these two Taiji are the same.
Picture
One conversation that we found most interesting, in the FB on the same subject is this, we quote, "Taiji Tu written counter-clockwise has a sinister, or negative, value.... going right means RIGHT, I think. The two dots have to be on vertical line in TaiJi. On and on...looks like you and I are picking mistakes by the dozen... Do you know what JY elder says about presenting TaiJi? I AM MOST INTERESTED in what JY elder says, he is on the masters I mostly appreciate, please do let me know, if you want privately here, what he says... Master JY elder says that orientation of Taiji shows how deep is the master's knowledge about FengShui's principles…"

So, from these conversations, master JY elder preferred the "B" TaiJi Tu and proclaimed the "A" Taiji Tu to be sinister or having a negative value. If such is to be true, we may as well throw all the XKDG methods taught in the west into the rubbish dump... So, some well informed practitioners do say it correctly, only scholars should attempt to answer and not children in kindergarten. Do kindergarten kids teach FengShui in the West, especially North America?

YIJING TAIJI 易經太极

Confucius illustrated such as day night changes while he commented on the ZhouYi. When at dawn, a dim light breaking the darkness, this is Young Yang. When at noon, the sun is at its peak, this is Old Yang. When at dusk, the sun sinks leaving the trace of twilight, this is Young Yin. When at midnight, it is in total darkness with chills, this is Old Yin. This is exactly how it is reflected in the Later Heaven BaGua or the Zhou WenWang Gua and later adopted by other YiJing expert liked Zhou DunYi and JingFang.

REAL YIN REAL YANG 真阴真阳

Pure Qi rises, therefore Yang. Reaching its peak and becomes Old Yang. A young Yin is born within. This is a Yin within Yang. Putrid Qi sinks, therefore Yin. Reaching its peak and becomes Old Yin. A young Yang is born within. This is a Yang within Yin. These young Yin and young Yang are called Real Yin and Real Yang. Detail read HERE. Therefore, the YiJing TaiJi shall look like this as above..
Before we attempt to explain the TaiJi Tu or how the TaiJi turns in the field of SanYuan, one has to understand the working mechanism of LuoShu - The Book of River Luo Numerology.
Picture

LUOSHU TAIJI 洛書太极

Different schools had different ways of defining the YinYang boundary into the LoShu and gives polarity and meanings to the numbers. We would like to share with you one way of doing so as the followings.

BOOK OF RIVER LUO 洛書

The LoShu is the ideal SanYuan Qi map. It begins in the centre 5 moves to 6 Northwest. From the 6 it moves to 7 west and completes in 8 Northeast. From 8 it moves to 9 south and 1 north meeting 2 southwest. The last path is to take flight from 3 east and finally returns to 4 southeast. 6 is where Qi begins and 4 is where Qi ends.
Picture
1234 and 6789 are but a special Qi connection known as pearl string. In DaGua these are known as the Upper Period of 1234 and the Lower Period of 6789.
Picture

YINYANG BOUNDARY 阴阳界

As we knew YuanKong starts from the 5 and take flight as 6,7,8,9 and go back to 1,2,3,4 before returning to 5. This sequence revealed that 6,7,8,9 are completion numbers with the 5 and 1,2,3,4 are origin numbers without containing the 5. Between 9 and 1 is the boundary of YinYang. Therefore all the origin numbers are Yin and all the completion numbers are Yang in accordance to the record of LianShan Yi, when the Chaos of HunDun has been split open to establish Heaven and Earth fixed position, Pure Qi rises, therefore Yang. Putrid Qi sinks, therefore Yin. This is how the TaiJi Tu turns.
Picture
Mapping against the LuoShu, some fascinating truth revealed. One will find that 8 and 2 are at a "misplaced" YinYang. 8 being the completion number is within the Origin sector while 2 the origin number is within the Completion sector. These 2 and 8 are the YinYang within the YinYang. Some would term them as the Young Yin and Young Yang. This has a special application in FengShui and forecasting.

In the following article we shall explain as to why SanYuan fundamentals are rooted on Early Heaven Bagua matching LoShu instead of the Later Heaven BaGua matching LuoShu as largely misinterpreted by the XuanKong school especially ShenShi XuanKong school of Flying Star... to be continue.

REGISTRATION OF INTEREST

All SanYuan methods must conform to this arrangement. It is how SanYuan measures the Heaven. If one is not able to discern its core configurations, any application of SanYuan method will be futile and one is not able to merge SanYuan to SanHe. In fact, SanHe is so predominantly fundamental that only SanYuan is able to achieve miracles. There is wisdom in saying first class master looks for the stars, second class master look for the water mouth and third class master run around the mountains seeing nothing. It shows to say the fundamental of water mouth SanHe FengShui is still very valid before one able to discern the stars and the constellations. Sadly, such has been omitted in most modern schools of Chinese Metaphysics.
